The whole thing about the radio is honestly the funniest part of this entire story. What kind of damn radio are we even talking about?
I don't have one in my house (unless you count my wife), and I've never once turned on the radio in my car—not even once.
On top of all that, I don't pay for any subscriptions, and I’ve certainly never had some collector showing up at my front door.
To be fair, though, finding my place isn't exactly easy.
Sometimes even I end up getting lost trying to find my way home.

Schwarzenegger actually looks like Conan the Barbarian, unlike Momoe who looks like some coke-addled junkie.

Don't just take those online calculators at face value.
The truth is, almost every mortgage lender out there has these little extra discounts or perks tucked away that you won't see reflected in a basic spreadsheet.
Honestly, your best bet is to grab all your paperwork, go visit them in person, and see which deal actually makes sense for your life.
It’s not like it takes much time either; it’s just like waiting in line at a DMV or a local UPS store—you can usually knock the whole thing out in about half an hour while you're already out running errands.

including PCs without cards, smartphones, and tablets—since you can stream audiovisual content over the web.

Then they can go screw themselves 😢

In court, I can easily prove I'm paying my internet bill.

Or can I?

If that's the case, don't pay it—just wait for the court date and let them try to prove you meet the legal definition of a "Subscriber." Usually, if you haven't signed anything and they didn't catch you red-handed, it won't even make it to a judge. It's a classic predatory tactic by companies like AT&T. People see the notice, panic, and pay it—essentially volunteering to become subscribers.

So, what’s the actual legal definition of a "receiver" here?
Does that include a PC hooked up to a router if there isn't a dedicated TV tuner card installed?
What about smartphones or tablets?
First aid kit essentials... in Economy ·
nimbleharbor10 said:Look, I get the argument for needing barriers, but in a real-world scenario, I seriously doubt how much those curves actually help anyone. If a collision occurs, bystanders call 911, and the paramedics arrive with their own specialized equipment, stretchers, and everything else they need. The notion that you should jump out of your car to pull someone from a wreck and start administering first aid is incredibly reckless. You have no way of knowing if they’ve sustained spinal injuries or internal fractures, and in an attempt to be a hero, you could easily aggravate their condition and make things much worse—not to mention leaving yourself wide open to a massive lawsuit.

The statistical likelihood of someone surviving a crash only to succumb to massive internal bleeding is minimal. If sharp debris is penetrating the cabin, the passengers are likely already dead or catastrophically injured. And even if there is active bleeding from an object impaling the driver, the doors usually won't budge, meaning you aren't getting to them without a heavy-duty rescue saw anyway.

Personally, I’ve reached for the contents of my first aid kit more times than I can count.
Thankfully, it hasn't been during some massive pile-up on the I-95, but I’ve definitely had to patch up some cuts and scrapes for myself and the kids.
So, who else actually carries a basic medical kit in their purse or fanny pack?

Arsenal - Dortmund 1 (2.6o SS)

Watching Arsenal lately feels like a trip down memory lane back to the days when we had Bergkamp, Henry, Ljungberg, and Pires tearing it up.
Look, I get it... Ramsey isn't Henry, and Ozil isn't Bergkamp, but man, these guys are absolutely lethal right now.

The ball movement is lightning fast, their counter-attacks are clinical, they switch play perfectly, and you can basically bank on Ramsey finding the net in almost every match.
With Cazorla back in the mix, after catching the game against Norwich, they actually look even more dangerous than before.

That should be more than enough to cook Borussia, especially since they've been struggling lately, particularly when they have to travel.

In fifteen years of getting my car inspected, I can’t say anyone has ever even glanced at the first aid kit.
Actually, now that I really think about it, I don't think a single mechanic has ever even bothered to ask if I had one on board.
Only if they give me a written guarantee that the recipient won't be hit with an installation fee.

Without that in writing, it’s just a total money pit.

I haven’t kept a close eye on things over at 128th Street since the early nineties, and honestly, I can't tell if the New York Yankees fans are just trolling me or actually making fun of me.
Whatever... next time you feel the urge to make a joke, I’d much rather you target your own kids, parents, or siblings instead of dragging mine into it.

Later.

I’m trying to get some clarity here: why exactly are certain replies being scrubbed while links like this just sit there untouched?
Thanks.

P.S. The deleted reply actually said, 'Look, I respect how honest and unpretentious you are when you head into the stadium, but I’m a bit more old-school myself. I’d be mortified if I said something like that to a ticket booth worker at a game. Sorry.'

cosmiclynx57 said:Look, at the end of the day, that’s my main priority—if the plot is a little thin or the dialogue doesn't quite hit the mark, I can totally live with that as long as the movie pulls me in visually, you know? I just want to sit back in a dark theater and get absolutely lost in the spectacle on that massive screen! If the visuals are stunning enough to carry the whole experience, who cares if the story is a bit light? Isn't that what the big screen is all about anyway?

I mean... honestly? This is actually pretty great. Like, seriously, this is just really good. 👍

I guess I'll just let it all marinate for a bit since I've got until tomorrow night to make up my mind, right?

Honestly, they might as well have just made an adult film right then and there—it probably would've been a lot more enjoyable for both of them! 😂

With a wife by your side, definitely.🙄

Total garbage movie. There isn't even a single decent scene to make it worth the effort.
Little Smith spends the entire runtime wearing the exact same expression... he looks like someone who just had an accident in the middle of a Target and realized there’s no toilet paper in sight.
Honestly, what a complete waste of time.

restlessgardener85 said:Look, we shouldn't have even been able to bet online for years if certain laws were actually being enforced... honestly, I don't see anything changing for us online bettors. If anything, we might get access to things like a PayPal Maestro card to use for payments across the US—though I haven't really dug into the fine print yet.

Yeah, I know it’s a gray area, but I’m not about to let some offshore sportsbook freeze my funds just because of this nonsense.
I'll stick with these mice* from the States for another month and then I'm going to go find something that actually suits my taste.

Can someone please point me toward a solid international sportsbook that actually offers a massive variety of live betting options?
I also really need a site where I can manually set my own handicaps in baseball, rather than just being forced to bet on the favorites like everyone else.

Honestly, I’m fed up with these crooks over at SS. About 80% of the time, they'll shave 5% off the odds while you're stuck waiting for authorization. It's a total joke.
Snoring issues in Health ·
I can't speak for everyone, but I dealt with this exact issue in my vocal cords. It’s basically these growths—kind of like little warts—that can build up so much you struggle to breathe through your nose at all.
In my case, it actually manifested as this deep, gravelly, "sexy" voice that women absolutely loved. I was pretty damn proud of it, too, right up until the day I coughed up a little piece of hell along with some blood.
I ended up stuck in a hospital bed for three miserable days, freezing my ass off, until they finally did a bronchoscopy and figured out what the hell was going on.
The actual procedure was laser-based with no cutting involved, and I was back on my feet within a day (honestly, I would have been up sooner, but the staff wouldn't let me).
I suspect nasal polyps are more or less the same kind of headache.

As for snoring... just give them a good kick every single time they start up, and keep doing it until they finally pass out. They won't bother you after that.
