Clones in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I suppose one might consider visiting a place like Chicago, though I find the idea somewhat unappealing. kaže:
I suppose there isn't much left to say on this matter. Bezmudan They are either blooming simultaneously, messaging one another, or just talking to themselves. 😕 Even I, someone who likely wouldn't notice a clone if they walked up and introduced themselves, can see that this thread has become completely unreadable.

It is the plain truth, and I suppose there isn't much else for me to say when things stand exactly as they are.

It has been six months, maybe even a year—I honestly can't keep track of the timeline anymore—dealing with the issue caused by one particular individual. I am hesitant to even label him properly because I don't want to resort to insults, so I will simply leave it at that. This person creates hundreds of clone accounts just to cause scenes and harass us. There are times when I have to ban thirty clones in a single row; he manages to open at least ten new accounts every single day, which he then immediately activates.

The issue is that banning everyone involved would require at least an hour of careful investigation; I simply have no desire to issue a ban until I have personally verified the facts and am absolutely certain.

Lately, I've been spending quite a bit of time at my vacation home, and between that and the urgent workload I have to tackle, I simply haven't had an hour every single day to monitor Bezmudnik and deal with banning his clones.

That individual isn't going to stop showing up, and I suppose the only way to actually prevent it is through police intervention.
Whatever.

If you ask me, that single issue accounts for about 90% of the problems being discussed in this thread.
The remaining issues are minor, and I suppose they can be resolved by the little triangle.
When he finally decides to go on a rampage, a small-time local sheriff won't be able to handle him; the only solution would be a full SWAT deployment. And we aren't exactly in a position to stand guard.

That is the entire story regarding Bezmudnik.
What would you do... in Lonely Hearts ·
Look, we actually have a neighboring thread titled "I'm broke but I want a girlfriend," so perhaps you could head over there to find advice on how to meet someone who isn't strictly looking for a guy with a massive bank account or a luxury car.

There is also a general discussion regarding the various criteria people use when searching for a partner.

I don't see much point in starting yet another similar thread, especially one that is this poorly defined.
What makes someone likable or unlikable to you? in Psychology ·
casualbadger92 said:I’ve noticed lately that so many people try way too hard to be likable, but it usually just backfires.

I watch these celebrities perform, and honestly, guys like Jimmy Fallon just drive me crazy. He tries so hard to be the "fun guy," but it just isn't working. He keeps pushing it, not just on his shows, but everywhere—it feels almost intrusive how he forces these jokes that aren't even funny 🙂.
He seems convinced that being the comedian is his whole identity, but he just doesn't have the tools for it. Not in any way—not verbally, not non-verbally. There’s no real humor there, and his facial expressions are just... unsettling. Maybe the worst part is that he ignores all the negative feedback; he just keeps forcing this "charming" persona, which creates this total reverse effect.

Another example might be someone like Ryan Reynolds—well, maybe not him, but someone trying to pull that vibe. Some people try to be likable through this forced, aggressive openness.
Sometimes I get the feeling they are desperate to step into that "relatable best friend" role, commenting on everything just to signal how open and communicative they are. I guess because being an extrovert is seen as "modern" or "with the times" nowadays. But their body language is so overbearing; it's what you see from people who think they're important, yet their actual words don't match that energy. The humor feels bland and self-important, just a lot of wasted breath.

The bottom line is; not everyone is naturally likable, even if they want to be.
In what ways do you think these two chronically unlikable types could, maybe, actually become more pleasant to be around?

Personally, I feel like it might be better for people like that to just stay quiet or even seem grumpy, rather than forcing us to pay attention to them... maybe then their authenticity would actually seem interesting to someone. Or maybe I'm wrong? 🤷
I suppose a little more humility wouldn't hurt.

Do you think people who are truly authentic and don't push themselves into the spotlight can still be liked? Or in today's society, where constant extroversion is praised, do we all have to constantly perform and put on a show just to be perceived as likable? It seems like being reserved or having some seriousness is often mistaken for being unlikeable or antisocial. 🤔
Can introverted people even be considered likable at all? 🤷 🤷

What makes someone likable or unlikable to you? And for those who lack a sense of humor, what could they do to be more tolerable, or would they just be easier to deal with if they stopped trying? ☕

In my view, being unlikable isn't necessarily about lacking a sense of humor. Rather, it describes those individuals who are arrogant, self-important, rude, and condescending; they answer from a position of superiority, mock others, belittle everyone, and employ sarcasm or dark humor at inappropriate times—essentially being obnoxious to an extreme degree. They seem to believe such behavior makes them appear all-knowing.

I tend to favor ordinary, cheerful, and smiling people. A sense of humor isn't strictly required, though it certainly doesn't hurt.

Brandon Allen3 wants to go on a rampage alongside Angela regarding homosexuality, but since he was sanctioned with a warning, he’s acting as if the issue with his previous statement simply doesn't exist.

Furthermore, within our official thread—even after I provided a detailed explanation to a fellow user as to why his comment was offensive (which I assume he understands)—he continues to violate the rules by trolling. He labels the organization on behalf of families as "on behalf of clerofascists" and calls those who organized the referendum idiots, all while using large, red lettering. When I delete such outbursts, he avoids a sanction because apparently, I am just being homophobic or unintelligent, I guess. It clearly isn't enough for him, as he has now opened this new thread to insult and disparage me, yet he still pretends to be oblivious to why he received a warning in the first place.

I have every right to lock a thread when it becomes necessary, and since it is evident that a civil conversation cannot occur in that thread without a constant police presence, I found exactly that when I went online yesterday. Meanwhile, Brandon Allen3 failed to report a SINGLE post for rule violations—demonstrating how little he actually cares about a decent debate—and instead merely piggybacked off someone else's trolling to deliver his controversial remark.

You may attempt to insult me as much as you wish; everyone is well aware of my commitment to equality and democracy. However, the fact that you are accusing me without cause, simply because you are unhappy with the scheduled referendum and want to push whatever nonsense comes to mind, says everything about your conduct.

I have nothing further to add on this matter.
You are free to find another forum where people will allow you to spout nonsense about intelligence or call organizations "on behalf of clerofascists."

Regards.

Finally, for Dorian and Nica, here is a link that perfectly illustrates the full extent of his rhetoric, his insinuations, and the nonsense he attempts to push:

And quite frankly, the existence of certain rude atheists who feel the need to insult, disparage, and lash out rather than engaging in a polite discussion on the topic at hand is not my concern. If anyone feels slighted because they aren't permitted to behave this way, they are more than welcome to start a blog to showcase their rhetorical "brilliance."
Lack of integrity and transparency at US in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Exactly. We have to distinguish between correlating a topic with specific criteria—in this case, the referendum itself—versus engaging in a broad, sweeping debate about the referendum, the political campaigning surrounding it, or the clash of worldviews driven by ideological or political leanings.

The second option is simply redundant in our context.

As for the report regarding ex Anais, I don't see any evidence that the author of the appeal reported themselves using the triangle icon, even though their manner of speaking remained consistent.
Complaint regarding moderator abuse of power in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Regardless, calling it an insult is one thing, but when certain people want to disrespect believers without any consequences and then throw a tantrum when they're called out, that’s a different matter entirely—though frankly, it's none of my concern.

Furthermore, is there some kind of countdown clock hovering over us, ticking away until everything has to be flagged? You are well aware of what we discussed, our timeline, and how extensively we debated this topic, including what else will be flagged and why. Since you've decided to raise these questions, I feel compelled to tell you, with all due respect, that you are not my supervisor, and I am under no obligation to report to you regarding my timing for flagging content.

Regards.
Italian Proverbs in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I removed it because you just posted a proverb without any context or explanation. Not everyone speaks Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, German... or any other language, for that matter. There's a general consensus that English is the global lingua franca today; if it had been in English, I probably would have left it alone. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the content of the proverb itself, but it would have been helpful if you had included a translation or an explanation. As it stands, dropping a random Italian proverb out of nowhere doesn't look relevant to anyone reading this thread who doesn't speak the language. You are more than welcome to share proverbs, quotes, or excerpts in a foreign language, but it would be polite to provide a connection to the discussion. 🙂

Dear Tyler Cruz32, I find myself mourning a friend during this somber hour. Dark clouds seem to be gathering above us, threatening to bring our linear existences to an abrupt end. Would it not be best if we simply stepped away from this storm of bullets brewing at Tamburelo, and instead savored everything wonderful that the remaining time we have left might still offer us?

Dorian, darling, come here and rest your head against my chest; let the stillness of this moment offer you some small measure of comfort! 😍

If you are suggesting we flee this storm for warmer climates... I have no objections.

But perhaps it might be better to wait just a little longer... you know I was planning on doing something wicked 🙂 , before they cut us short. :/

If any of you makes a wrong move against me, just say the word. I’ll make sure you end up with a eunuch for a guard, much like those old-school harems in the East. 😉

Well, they certainly turned him into a eunuch pretty quickly! 🙂

Please don't think for a second that I find you unappealing; it's just that Dorian and I are part of the same crew, and we have our own little gentleman's agreements.

There are others, if I recall correctly—Alicia K. of course.

Of course; fulfilling my requests would be done strictly out of a sense of friendship.
Well, I suppose he’s both a friend of Dorian's and mine. 🙂

The same applies to my enemies. 😬

Discrimination based on sexual orientation and lifestyle choices in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Here is that text you posted from another thread some time ago:

I wouldn't say that...

Look, I put up an advertisement just like the one I had before, and a woman reaches out saying, "Sure, but I'm coming with my boyfriend, so can he go at you while I'm making out with you?"

God...

Ah, the US isn't even what it used to be.

It is quite obvious that you are looking for a third person for sex.

Lately, we have tightened our criteria regarding advertisements. Your ad was removed in consultation with my colleagues and the supermoderator, so I am not the only one who views your ad as being solely about sex. In fact, you admitted in your previous post that you are looking for sex.

For now, your advertisement has been deleted, and Nice can check our internal staff thread to see what others have suggested regarding you.

Users are reporting your ad and complaining because you are seeking sex, which makes us look unprofessional. That simply isn't fair. If the ad is deemed eligible to be reinstated, you will be notified accordingly.

William Bennett53 said:Dear Tyler Cruz32, just as those trapped in Plato’s cave cannot discern much of the reality passing before the sun by merely watching shadows flicker on a wall, this jealous bunch of cowboys can't grasp the sheer necessity of our Western-style union. But don't let it trouble you; the cosmos, in its infinite equilibrium, will eventually orchestrate that connection—an event some will dismiss as mere coincidence, while others will recognize as divine providence. And when that happens, the shouting voices of those peddling their hollow rhetoric will be nothing more than screams into a well, producing what sounds like a powerful echo but is, in truth, merely a fleeting and meaningless reverberation. 😍

Dearest Dorian Gray,

we have a slight little problem, as we haven't actually joined together in the West yet. 😁

don't worry, I suppose the cosmos, in its infinite balance, will eventually orchestrate that union which some might call mere coincidence and others might view as a higher power. And then, the voices of those shouting nonsense about real incompetence will be nothing more than shouting into a well—producing what sounds like a powerful echo, but is actually just a fleeting and meaningless reverberation. 😍

Oh 😍

It is a pleasure to read your brief lines, where you show such patience and willingness to comfort my heart as it beats sadly amidst the hardships of this Western wilderness. Sending kisses to you both! 🙂

Though, perhaps it is simply a difficult path we must traverse before our story can truly shine in the full spectrum of a rainbow. 🙂
