Every single ban you've copped was well-deserved, honestly... even the mods who barely show up to the thread and aren't even part of any clans agree with it. Look, you're totally entitled to your opinion, but let’s be real—you can't just spout whatever nonsense pops into your head without consequences. Most of what you type is just straight-up insulting and pure trolling.
As for Mudless, there are plenty of other threads on this site where you guys can go ahead and vent all you want. Like over on the Psychology board, for instance.
Look, fixing my own mess isn't even the issue here. It’s not like I’m some clueless newbie—not that Herbicidna was trying to be subtle about it, by the way—it’s just that the server crapped out right while I was trying to clear my posts... leaving them all sitting there like junk mail.
The real headache? It's this constant pattern of the same little clique playing favorites with the USA mods. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not taking this personally. Every single subreddit has its own little inner circle that lives for this kind of stuff, but we really shouldn't be letting them run the show.
Herbicidna was anything but polite. That fake-modest, overly humble act she put on for the mods is just an insult to anyone with half a brain, especially considering the absolute circus they run normally. And don't even get me started on my friend who suddenly decided to bring up something that supposedly "offended" her from back in the summer of 2014.
Whether you're looking at ZuD or the US forums, there are plenty of genuinely good people hanging around. You know what they actually do? They'll shoot you a private message if they notice you forgot to delete something or if the server crapped out right while you were trying to clean up a thread. They don't go posting on the public boards acting all submissive and pathetic, calling you an idiot who can't follow the rules or claiming you've forgotten how to moderate after two years on the job.
Do you have any idea how many posts actually get nuked over in the Classifieds section? A handful of posts being deleted is a tiny, tiny percentage.
I think we’ve covered it all... this whole thread is pointless now. It’s basically just turned into a playground for one specific little clique.
Emily Fisher23 said:I don't think we need to merge the US subforum with anything else, but honestly, Herbie actually has a point about certain things. It’s not just about reacting at all... it’s about actually being on top of stuff happening on the US side before it spirals.
Take the classifieds, for example. If people actually dealt with ads that have fewer than 100 posts way faster, maybe folks would actually respect the rules. But instead, someone clicks on the classifieds, maybe skims the first post... then they scroll through the last two or three pages and realize half the crowd isn't even following the 100-post rule. Their ads have been sitting there for days, and it leads to that classic logic—if everyone else is cutting corners, why shouldn't I? Even Brian Johnson called out how messy the classifieds were. I noticed his post got nuked, yet the people breaking the 100-post rule are still chilling there perfectly fine. Seriously, I’m scrolling back through the last few pages and seeing ads from December 21st, 2014, that break the rules and are STILL up! 🤷
With the homework assignments, I literally had to ask a few days after the deadline if there was even going to be a vote. 🤷 And yeah, this thread that's clearly meant for teenagers sat on the US board for almost three days. The very first sentence says the kids are 16. 🙄
This past summer, I started a bunch of threads for people to hang out, and several times I actually had to beg for days just to get my thread bumped to the top. And I mean, begging in all sorts of ways—messaging mods privately or reporting my own thread as spam just to get *someone* to finally notice. Isn't that just ridiculous? 🕺
Look, I get it. The mods and admins aren't servants who are supposed to be babysitting the US section 24/7, but surely someone could take a quick peek now and then to see what's going down...
That’s really low, and this post says a lot about you. The admins can see exactly how much "peeking" goes on in the US, so those claims from the US clans are taken with a grain of salt.
Sophia Kern43 said:That rule actually applies to the Classifieds section, so we get to watch it play out in real-time every single day. 🤷
"Look, I know I'm breaking the rules, and please, mods, don't ban me—I really don't want to be *that* guy posting here, but if I'm lucky, I might just find the love of my life in this thread..."
"Psst, hurry up, guys, before the mods catch on... slide into my DMs!"
"My husband and I have both been on this forum for years and usually come across as pretty literate people, but obviously, we're totally ignoring the thread rules even though it literally says 'READ THE RULES' right there, all while we're busy looking for a third for some fun..." 😒 "
🤷
Not to mention pik with that whole 'haven't read the US updates in months' vibe... I just skimmed the last page of this thread, but my girlfriend told me I should hop in here to see what's up. 🤷
We aren't in kindergarten, people. We can't just operate like this. Threads get locked for a reason.
Larry Wilson25 said:Look, if you think things are gonna heat up again once everyone chills out... fine. I don't really have much experience with the mod side of things, so who knows if it’s actually an issue. But honestly? I hope you guys stay swamped in 2015. More work for you means more juicy debates for us users, more stuff to read, and way more to comment on. Plus, we can always just call in or add some extra mods if needed. I hope you get where I'm coming from—I'm not trying to be a troll or anything. It's just that sometimes there's just not enough text flying around here, not enough energy... I wish we had at least twice as many active users, which is why I suggested merging with the main board. That way, Jacob Sullivan91 would have to keep track of the whole damn FBI too.*
*just kidding
I mean, you should really be setting an example for the rest of the Americans here. Start jumping into threads or even starting your own. I'm pretty sure our number of female posters would shoot up if you did. 😉
I honestly don't see why a thread about horoscopes and broken hearts wouldn't fit on the US... I mean, if people actually believe there's some cosmic link between their lonely lives or their terrible luck in dating and where the stars are sitting, then hey, let them vent about it. Volume 3 is currently active, which pretty much proves the topic isn't going anywhere... people clearly love it.
Besides, you wrote 135 posts about horoscopes in the first part, and then 111 in the second. It’s kind of weird that suddenly this whole thing became "pointless" all of a sudden... I'm sure it's pretty obvious why someone would think you're just trolling at this point.
As for the not applicable situation, we've already looked into it and decided there's zero constructive stuff happening there anymore... it's basically just become a breeding ground for clones and trolls.
And honestly, it’s such a joke that we can’t even tell who’s actually being quoted here. Pretty sure it’s just your own rambling thoughts at this point. The only person who even bothered to complain—and they did it by starting some totally inappropriate thread on the main forum instead of actually reading the sub-boards or even leaving a single meaningful comment on the topic they were whining about...
Now it’s gonna look like there wasn't a whole crowd of people annoyed, but just one lone complainer.
Besides, it really doesn't matter who you're messaging. Whether it's one person or a hundred, it's all the same. Why are you even getting into a fight over this? It's trivial.
Seriously, you're just digging yourself into a deeper hole, and your arguments are becoming completely weightless... just empty noise at this stage.
If you keep harassing the users on this board like this, expect a permanent ban from the site.
All we can do now is sit back and wait for the mods to lock this thread down.
Just wanted to point out that the mailing list where everyone’s whining about the terrible moderators over at the local community board was actually active back in 2013... way before boldwalker12 or anyone else even stepped foot in a moderator role.
Isn't it a little weird, though? Like, how is it that every single moderator on this board is supposedly "awful," and you’ve somehow maintained an active mailing list for nearly two years just to complain about them?
Honestly, I think you pretty much said everything there is to say about yourself in this thread. There's really nothing left to add...
Carl Fisher7 said:Total lie. I’ve already filed a complaint—once, maybe twice, definitely more—and some other female user reached out to me privately about it too. It's totally normal for people to file complaints if they're unhappy with how you moderate things. And trust me, they are. I know, because everyone who messaged me felt the exact same way.
You can doubt me if you want, but you're just being unreasonable. I'm telling the truth here...
Honestly, it sucks seeing the moderation quality tank like this, especially since it wasn't exactly "fair and balanced" to begin with. Just sad...
Look, nobody has actually complained to us in the last week. It's weird... maybe your friend just has a bad memory.
And as for that whole "don't call me a liar because I'm telling the truth" thing? Yeah, I'm gonna pass on commenting on that logic.
Either forward all those messages to the site admin or stop bringing them up as "proof" for anything... I don't have five years to waste on this. Besides, it should be obvious that any one of us could claim we have fifty people backing us up and then drag them into a thread.
But we won't do that because we're adults. How many people back someone up doesn't even matter... it's completely irrelevant. People have backed all sorts of crazy stuff throughout history.
If you want to make a real complaint, you need actual evidence. In this specific thread, you claimed you got a strike unfairly. As proof, we can point to the warnings you were given (even though we aren't technically required to warn you) and the fact that you literally admitted you knew you were going to get flagged.
That's the only way we can actually have a debate. State a specific problem and give us concrete arguments, because that's the only way we can even try to offer a counterpoint.
As for how many friends you have or what your general opinion of us is? Save that for your private email group. None of us want to communicate like that, and nobody wants to sit here reading through your drama while trying to deal with the actual issue at hand.
Carl Fisher7 said:Talking about how you handle moderation in my DMs isn't "gossip." People only resort to that because you refuse to actually listen to a single damn argument they make.
So, let me get this straight... people are supposedly unhappy with how we moderate, but instead of filing a formal complaint with us—which hasn't happened, by the way, since I haven't seen a single grievance—or hitting up the site admins, or even posting about it publicly, they just slide into your DMs? Is that really how this works now? 😕
Either you're telling the truth here, or your little "circle of friends" are just being totally unserious. So far, the only person who’s actually stepped up publicly is one girl complaining she didn't get banned after telling another user to get lost, plus someone else who doesn't even follow the community guidelines, so... yeah, their opinions don't carry much weight.
I'll say it again: it's honestly pathetic that someone your age would sink this low, trying to settle scores with moderators in such a childish way.
Carl Fisher7, honestly... I didn't think you'd actually try to pull the "hooking up over email" card. That's some middle school behavior right there, not really what I expect from a grown man your age.
And besides, the whole thing about random girls on the forum sliding into your DMs? It doesn't even add anything to this argument.
You’ve rambled through a lot of nonsense here, but if we strip away all your little "extracurricular" hookups, it really just boils down to two things: you're unhappy with how the ZouD mods run things, and we're all fed up with how you treat other people on here.
Just so you know, any deleted posts are still sitting right there for the admins to see, along with any drama you've caused in your private messages, so there's zero point in acting this low.
Go ahead, be as edgy as you want, but that stuff is tolerated on ZouD. If it bothers you and your (so-called) buddies so much, feel free to take your little hookups elsewhere via email.
I think we're done here. I'm not sinking to your level.
Look, you can't just go around telling people on Reddit to get lost... it’s got absolutely nothing to do with this thread anyway. And honestly? It’s pretty hilarious that you’re suddenly acting all offended because someone deleted a post from months ago.
We aren't going to keep debating this here either, since we're basically just getting in the way of the admins who are actually handling this PDF stuff.
You really think those chat messages have anything to do with this topic? They’re totally random... if you even wanted to call them insults, they were super reaching. But yours? Yours were straight-up verbal abuse and swearing, which is why they got nuked. Makes sense, right?
stormylynx4 said:Look, you don't have to apologize just because someone ordered it, but honestly? It’d be pretty classy if you actually owned up to your mistake on that thread, especially since you went straight for the mods after that. The truth is, she wasn't offering photos, and steelskipper132 definitely didn't say she was. He just said she seemed doing well, and since her first post made it sound like she was putting herself out there, he threw in a little eye-roll emoji saying she could send a photo—you know, since SHE was being so "welcoming," maybe he should check how "well" she's actually doing... right?
It’s not like I can keep track of every single post ever written—not all of them are even worth reading, let's be real—but after those comments you made under the mod tag, a simple apology would go a long way. It won't trigger world peace or end global hunger, but hey, it might actually make you look like someone who knows how to be objective for once.
Are you the OP or do you have access to her DMs? Honestly, I have no clue whose side you're even on here.
He said he was asking for a photo, not that she *could* send one. Saying "asking for a pic" basically means "I want a pic." And since the OP mentioned in her first post that advice via DM is welcome, it's super easy to get things mixed up...
The OP didn't get flagged because of pictures or because she complained about a moderator. She got flagged because of a few posts earlier where she basically said she doesn't care what certain users think because of which subreddits or threads they usually hang out in. On Reddit, everyone who actually contributes something useful to the conversation is equal. Period. You treat people the same regardless of where they usually post.
Besides, anyone on this site can appeal a moderator's decision whenever they want. There's no need for you to jump in the middle. If she wants an apology because someone wrongly claimed she was sharing photos, she can ask for it herself. You've got nothing to do with this, and frankly, your involvement in this whole mess is just... confusing.
Carl Fisher7 said:My bad, fixed it. I couldn't do the other one because it was basically the only example in this whole thread where someone actually talked about it openly. How am I supposed to avoid that? It’s freaking impossible...
It is possible. Just give me an example from your own life... 🤷
Carl Fisher7;52394720 said: You’ve got it all wrong because I wasn't even talking about that locked chat about being a mistress—I don't care about that. I was talking about a different topic that got shut down for some totally irrelevant reason, not the one you're bringing up. [/qoute]
Look, threads get nuked when they stop making sense. Either people stop posting anything useful, or it just turns into a massive dumpster fire of trolls and insults. That thread was closed for a good reason.
I write how I want, using blunt and explicit language without sugarcoating everything to fit some polite standard. Somewhere in the Rules or some admin note on Reddit, it says readers or users might run into language that isn't exactly for kids or seniors. Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is... we're talking about sexual topics on a public forum, not on some Catholic site or a religious board.
Take care.
Every PDF has its own internal vibe and rules. I'm pretty sure you saw that bolded warning over at LJES. Well, if you're hanging out on ZouD, you better start cleaning up your act and wrapping those expressions in a way that actually fits the forum. And maybe tone down the insults and the constant attacks on other users to a minimum. Or, better yet... just stop doing it entirely.
Carl Fisher7 said:Look, I wasn't attacking anyone, I was just explaining things. So I went ahead and started a whole new thread where I didn't even insult anyone... and what happens? It gets nuked immediately. Why? Seriously, who did I offend by just starting a new topic?
You can't just spin up a new thread to keep arguing points from posts you already got flagged for, especially when you're being rude to other users.
Just look at how you're talking to the guy who was actually sharing his personal struggles in that thread. It's honestly bottom-of-the-barrel behavior. And let's be real—you knew exactly why you were getting flagged, just like you admitted at the start of your post.
If you’re dealing with stuff like this yourself, or if you want to have a high-level discussion about the psychological impact of being impotent, go ahead and start a thread over in the Psychology section... but do it without trashing or psychoanalyzing everyone else.
We aren't going to tolerate that kind of vibe here on ZouD.
Also, I see you keep bringing up those chats about how to be a mistress—those were shut down for a reason, in coordination with the admin, so there's really no point in constantly whining about why those specific chats were closed. If you need to chat, ZouD has a dedicated chat thread for that.
Please, just watch how you talk to the other users and the mods, because we've already had several complaints filed against you.
