I caught the team radio right after the win, and they were straight up calling it top Class. Just absolute top Class. Number one is Back!
There was just so much raw emotion and pure joy in everything... honestly, everything about it.🙏 I saw some write-up on an American news site about it... it felt like being a little kid on Christmas morning, ripping open that one specific gift under the tree that you wanted more than anything else. That’s exactly how it felt. Just like that. 🙏 🙏 🙏

They went from having an uncontrollable, weak power unit and chassis last year—one that absolutely shredded its tires during races—to whatever this sudden transformation is today. Only God knows what happened.
And Bernie Ecclestone
and James Allison.

But today's race revealed two huge new things... Ferrari has nailed the cooling on this car—way better than Mercedes—so any high-temp races are going to be dangerous. Ferrari is being incredibly gentle on the tires and works beautifully on mediums, which is most likely thanks to Alison... it’s not a coincidence that Lotus used to be the king of tire management not too long ago...
The big question is how they'll fare in cold races and if they can stay close there too 🤷
What surprises me most isn't even that Ferrari beat Mercedes; it's how much they absolutely crushed Williams and Red Bull... Because honestly, I didn't think it was possible for Red Bull to lap anyone, let alone for someone at the back of the pack to fight their way to the front by slicing right through both Williams cars during the race 😳
Most of the expert American commentators were talking about Allison's influence on tire conservation yesterday, which is what I mentioned above.

The vibe at Ferrari is weirdly chill and super self-assured right now; they haven't given away the details, but they definitely know something we don't. Word on the street is their tire strategy is absolutely lethal this time around. We'll just have to wait and see if they can actually pull it off... 🙂
People are out here claiming the heat is just brutal and it’s gonna mess with him because the sun is absolutely draining. And apparently, he was even looking to swap her out.

Look, you have like three million translation tools at your fingertips. I don't get it. 😲 If the mods say foreign languages aren't allowed, then they aren't allowed. They can go ahead and warn me if they want. And like I said—how are you even going to follow Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari if you don't know Italian? 🤷
Lewis Hamilton is absolutely flying in that Mercedes, clocking the fastest time of the day, but honestly, the Ferrari guys were looking seriously strong, especially when you look at their race pace. That's basically the verdict after the first day of free practice at the Malaysian Grand Prix

If these guys in red don't completely blow it, we're looking at a seriously interesting GP. 🍿
If you look at how much Fernando Alonso was trailing by LAST year—honestly, who even remembers that blizzard?—it was like 35 seconds, so Ferrari should probably brace themselves for being about 10 to 15 seconds behind at most, regardless of the specifics. The podium (once again): one Mercedes-Benz, one Ferrari, and one Martini. Everyone else can just fight over the scraps. As for Alonso, if he actually manages to finish, he’ll be looking at being two laps down, assuming there isn't a Safety Car.🤣
