The bank is taking my entire paycheck... in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Just finished reading that story from Danac. 😢 🤦 🙂
Lower cost of living or a higher salary? in Close to Politics ·
Look, my two cents: you can throw as much money at a salary as you want, but it doesn't change the math—you're always going to find someone willing to undercut you, whether it's some local outfit or a massive firm overseas.
US Army rebuilt! in Close to Politics ·
They aren't actually seriously thinking about calling up the reserves again, are they? 👎>

🤣

As if the US Army would ever pull a stunt like that! 🙂
Donald Trump, Al Capone, and Eric Adams running together? in Close to Politics ·
America is being run by one single person:
He’s got a mind that’s just plain twisted.
In this country, everything is upside down,
where social democrats are basically shaking hands with big business.

Hardly anyone in this nation actually puts in any work,
even the farmers are just growing crops for the government to snatch up.
Teachers are broke while the thieves are living large,
the smart people stay hidden while the idiots run the show.

The administration is nothing but a collection of freaks;
if you want to know about potato salad, go ask the Prime Minister.
The Secretary of Health has a face as red as a beet,
claiming he's fixing healthcare while he's busy shutting down hospitals.

People here love their neighbors like brothers,
yet they’re constantly at each other's throats in some fratricidal war.
While the crooks are busy lining their pockets everywhere they turn,
people are still getting worked up over old civil war politics.

But this whole mess is going to hit a wall pretty soon,
once the international courts finally step in.
Europe will eventually deal with this weird person,
and then they can take him exactly where he deserves to go.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! Get this sent to the papers immediately. 👍

Absolutely brilliant. 👍

That’s exactly what we need—this whole new wave of power and intelligence, just a bunch of clean-cut people with zero baggage. They're basically our saviors.

I just wonder who's going to be acting as the translator when they finally step foot outside of Beautiful us. 🤣
Personal loan ads: Legit or scam? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
That’s a pretty safe bet for now... until it isn't.

Then one day, some guys just show up 🙂 and you'll see exactly what happens next...

Blanka Vlašić !!! 🙏 👍 🙂

So I was reading this one news site from a neighboring country, and they actually wrote this:

Now Nike is gonna have to drop a whole new line: Nike Air Blanka! 👍 🤣
When a boss starts offloading their shares, you really have to pay attention because that’s usually when the party's over. It isn't just some random market fluctuation or a bit of routine portfolio rebalancing either; when the guy at the top decides to cash out, he's sending a loud, clear signal that he thinks the peak is right behind him. You have to look at the scale of the sell-off too, because if it's more than just a small slice for tax purposes, you're looking at a massive red flag. Honestly, most retail investors are too busy chasing the hype to notice these moves until the floor falls out from under them, but if you're actually watching the insiders, you can see the writing on the wall way before the crash hits. It's pretty straightforward once you stop being naive about how these corporate types operate. federal Look, if you’ve got some shady outfit billing the company through their own private LLC just to markup lightbulbs at three times the retail price, the whole scheme is pretty obvious. It’s a textbook kickback setup.
So, when you've got a second boss who's officially registered in one of those high-security federal oversight zones, yet they’re actually living and working right here in the heart of Chicago, what's the deal? federal They shut down the whole company, and honestly, it’s all because of some tax evasion bullshit. It’s pretty obvious what happened here, and frankly, nothing really surprises me.
When you get to the point where one out of every three employees at a company is basically just dead weight, everything starts to fall apart. It’s that tipping point where the actual talent gets burned out trying to carry the slack for the people who are just punching a clock. You can't run a tight ship when a third of your workforce is essentially ghosting their responsibilities while still collecting a paycheck. federal Look, if you've got some guy who isn't even showing up to his desk at the firm because he’s too busy running errands for the ruling party, then the whole situation becomes crystal clear. It’s all right there in front of you.

People are going to end up losing limbs over this kind of nonsense. 🙂

Honestly, it’s just because everyone around them basically gave them a green light to act like that.
It’s not just on them. No way... 🙂
They’re nothing more than... I don't know what to tell you, man, but some people just aren't built for this. It's like they're playing a completely different game than the rest of us, moving through life with zero sense of direction or scale. You see it all the time—people thinking they can cut corners or play small when the stakes are actually massive, and then they act shocked when the whole thing falls apart right in their faces. It’s honestly exhausting watching that lack of vision play out in real time. Some folks are just destined to stay stuck in the shallow end while everyone else is out here making moves. The part that finally broke through the surface.
That’s basically the whole deal regarding that specific mindset we were talking about at the very start of this topic.
It really just boils down to whoever is running the show in the Administration and our own collective mindset.

Nobody but themselves. 🙂
I’m on the same page as Randall, honestly—it’s pretty much a given: just wipe it out and move on. 🙂

Gas shutoffs for local businesses! in Economy ·
Look, it would be way better if you guys just listed them one after another to build out the list:

1) A (Chicago)
2) B (Miami)
3) C (Seattle)
4) A (Madison) ... assuming we're talking about the same company here
And so on...

Let's see how this plays out. I'm actually pretty curious to see what comes up. 🙂
How to get started with agtech and farming investments? in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Look, I’ll get straight to the point because this whole concept is starting to lose its luster for me—I don't know what kind of nonsense the OP was thinking when they first pitched it.
I’m actually pretty curious to see if he’ll weigh in with some real-world experience of his own... 🙏

I'm not gonna start a whole new thread:

1) Has anyone here picked up any land in the last six months? I'm talking about the specifics—what class of farmland, pasture, meadow, timberland, etc.? Just give me the breakdown.
2) Whereabouts?
3) What's the infrastructure looking like? Think roads, road quality, access paths, proximity to water, power, creeks, all that good stuff.
4) Total acreage
5) Asking price
6) General area/region

Thanks... 🙏

Look, I’ll probably end up repeating myself on this one, but just to lay it out clearly:

- This guy is absolutely buried in debt, loans, and personal IOUs.
- Now he’s trying to pull an NYSE move.

The bottom line: PASS! 🙂
This topic is spot on! 🙏 🤣
