Anyone ever had penicillin shots? in Health ·
It’s finally over!
My doctor was actually pretty considerate about it—he just put me back on my pills. They are massive, honestly, like little boulders... but hey, anything is better than dealing with shots!
I was practically dying of laughter when the nurse in the office asked me if I preferred taking them orally rather than getting an injection 😁
Taylor Swift for the advice!

I was wondering if anyone here has actually dealt with this before? Like, what are the comparisons really like... I'm currently stuck taking these because of some massive, nasty case of strep throat, and honestly, I'm pretty freaked out about it...
Please help...
Oh man, this whole thread has me cracking up so much😉 Since I was a little kid, I’ve had this weird way of pronouncing my R’s—kind of like how people do in France, you know? It’s just sort of... there. The funny thing is, I completely forget I even do it until I meet someone new. Like, just recently, I was hanging out with this guy who was being incredibly sweet—seriously, such a sweetheart—and he kept bringing it up, and I was just sitting there staring at him like, "What are you even talking about?"... only then did it click..
As for actually fixing my accent, I don't know, I kind of can't be bothered. I tried to learn the "correct" way once, really, but it just sounds so unnatural when I try it—totally cringey—so I just stick to my old ways. But hey, if you want to change it, go for it—just do it!

Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Sean Doyle, I was on Diane back in the day—mainly because of PCOS issues and then just standard birth control—but I ended up quitting because the mood swings were absolutely brutal... Even though I’m usually such a bubbly person, those pills would turn me completely depressed and paranoid. I’d just be crying non-stop and everything felt... well, just awful. At first, I had no clue the pills were actually causing it, but after talking it through with my doctor and some girlfriends, they all confirmed it was definitely the cause... Once I finally stopped taking them, I felt like my old self again... and there is zero chance I'd ever go through that nightmare ever again!
