After watching That Awkward Moment, this is actually the second comedy I've checked out featuring Zac Efron. Honestly, I really enjoyed both of them—they just hit the spot. I actually caught Neighbors in theaters, which made the whole experience so much better; I was laughing my head off, there were just so many genuinely funny bits in there. 🤣

It looks interesting enough, but honestly, I’ll probably forget all about it by tomorrow morning.

Such an incredible movie! Honestly, the acting is just mind-blowing—especially Julia and Meryl (though I have to admit, Meryl completely floored me 😁). It’s such a raw look at how much our traditional family values have shifted lately. This one is definitely a more intense take on those classic family dramas, but you see stories like this popping up everywhere these days. Between the atmosphere, the performances, and that gritty visual realism where you can actually see every single freckle and wrinkle on every actor's face 😁... man, it was worth every penny for a Friday night.

The cast definitely earned those Oscars—they were incredible. As for the movie itself, it’s solid, but I can't say it totally blew my mind or anything.

Good grief. Do you even have a heart? *Biutiful* is incredible. I mean, look, it doesn't have to be everyone's cup of tea, but I don't think anyone should be able to watch this and feel nothing. The acting is stellar, the story is just gut-wrenching, and the direction is top-notch. It’s one of those movies that really gets under your skin—it actually took me a while to process everything after it ended.

Yeah, I have a heart—I'm not ashamed to cry at a movie if it actually hits home, even being a guy... but this one? It just didn't move me at all. To be honest, I found it incredibly tedious and frankly just boring. I'm seeing that most people here seem to disagree, so maybe there really is something wrong with my taste 🤷

So, I caught the premiere this past Thursday. I’d seen the trailer beforehand, and since I knew we were dealing with a film from Inarritu, I went in fully expecting something smart, beautiful, and definitely not your typical Hollywood blockbuster. Honestly? I walked away feeling pretty let down. It feels stretched out to two and a half hours—just kind of exhausting and tedious to sit through. The core theme is actually solid, but as a whole, the movie just falls flat for me.

Starting March 4th, it’s finally hitting the screens at AMC... I'm definitely making a point to head down to the theater to catch 🙂

I mean, I already knew that Black man, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, The Princess and The Frog, Legion, and Everybody's Fine would hit theaters normally—but I was specifically wondering about Prophet. I honestly don't have the time to catch it while the festival is running, so I was just curious if it’ll stay on the schedule afterward?

This movie isn't some mindless gorefest like Saw, where the whole point is just watching people get tortured for shock value. It actually has a real plot—though there’s plenty of killing, I will say—and the violence is depicted with this really intense, gritty realism that gets pretty detailed if you're looking for it. 😁

I’ve gotta say, I’m totally with all the positive vibes I’m seeing here—this movie is easily one of the best things I've seen in a while. Honestly, catching it on the big screen was such a treat; the cinematography was just stunning...

This is a total must-see. So, basically, a horror movie is hitting American theaters in 3D next month—and honestly, just imagine a horror flick in 3D, it’s going to be terrifying. The trailer looks incredibly promising, too, and the movie is called My Bloody Valentine 3D. I'm just crossing my fingers that they actually bring it to our local theaters in 3D; otherwise, all this hype about 3D movies in the US feels kind of pointless if they just end up showing documentaries and concert films instead. 😠...Anyway, here's the trailer:
