Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and ICU: Q&A in Health ·
Hi everyone... I wanted to reach out and see if anyone here has dealt with a case of pneumococcal pneumonia that escalated into sepsis, heart failure, and kidney failure? We’re trying to figure out what the survival odds look like and what kind of long-term consequences we might be facing... Honestly, we are just completely devastated right now—a close family member is going through this as we speak, and the stress is just overwhelming. He's 54, and until this happened, he was a perfectly healthy guy who almost never even caught a cold... we are all just in total shock. He’s currently in the ICU receiving intensive care, but so far, there hasn't been any sign of improvement 😢((
Do any of you ladies have any actual experience using Naelia pills?
So, my doctor—Dr. Miller—prescribed them to me, but I’ve been totally stalling on actually starting them because I am absolutely terrified of the side effects... especially the ones that mess with your mood and leave you feeling like a wreck.. 🕺
The tablets contain 0.015mg + 0.06mg ethinyl estradiol and gestodene.
I’ve been searching all over the internet, but honestly, I can barely find anything useful about them at all... it's so frustrating.
So, I’ve been staring at these booking sites for ages... should I go with the food allergy test from Holy Spirit Hospital or just hit up the local clinic? Is there actually any difference between them? Because honestly—the first opening they have for the general clinic isn't until July, but Holy Spirit can squeeze me in in about 12 days... 🤔 Plus, does anyone know where I can get a TTG (transglutaminase) test done on my rib? I've been scouring their website trying to find a specific outpatient center that handles it—since I'm trying to book everything online—but I am coming up totally empty-handed...
Can anyone help me out here:

-WBC: 5 ref(3.4-9.7)
-Neutrophils: 30 ref(44.0-72.9)
-Basophils: 1.1 ref(0.0-1.0)
-Lymphocytes: 50 ref(20.0-46.0)
-Monocytes: 13 ref(2.0-12.0)

My white cell count looks fine, but my neutrophils are low—plus those basophils are slightly up—and both my lymphocytes and monocytes seem high. Everything else appears totally normal though...
I don't really have any symptoms to speak of, other than feeling a bit more wiped out than usual—but I just figured that was the spring season kicking in combined with some pretty intense workouts lately... My digestion has been acting up a little too, but honestly, since I deal with gastritis, that’s kind of my "normal." Is there actually any reason to be worried? 🕺
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I am desperately searching for a reliable primary care doctor and a gynecologist in Chicago (either a small clinic or a larger medical center) who is actually taking new patients right now... please, I really need some help here, I feel like I'm at the end of my rope 👎
...
Does anyone happen to know when the Coachella tickets are actually going to hit the printers? I was wondering if they'll be available in physical stores soon... and why is it that you can only grab them online right now? 😢

Where does it even start?
amberranger said:The math just isn't adding up here. RATM would cost at least seven times more than AF... any kind of break-even point for a group like RATM is way beyond what Central Park can even hold. So, yeah, that’s never going to happen.

AF is actually a pretty solid pick. Maybe the issue lies elsewhere with the rest of the lineup...

I hear everything being said, but I'll put my money on the fact that I don't agree that Arcade Fire has surpassed RATM, SOAD, or bands like them... honestly, I only recently heard them myself and I wasn't exactly blown away by the hype. They aren't bad, but they aren't anything spectacular either...
coastalfox26 said:Look, I'm just now hearing about Arcade Fire for the first time—mostly because you claimed they're actually better than Rage Against the Machine—and I honestly have no clue what you're talking about. You're comparing a one-hit-wonder style band that people will probably forget by next year (think Franz Ferdinand or Kaiser Chiefs... though I did catch both of them live) to legends like RATM (and System of a Down) who pull in hundreds of thousands of fans and sell out massive reunion tours... especially RATM...

I AM TOTALLY WITH YOU ON THIS!!! 😳 😳 😳
Do you think they're going to drop any more big headliners, or have they already squeezed out all the heavy hitters? 😕
I honestly can’t stop thinking about that lineup... I mean, seriously, my head is still spinning from everything they announced. It feels like every year we expect them to pull something big out of the hat, but this time? This time it feels different—like they actually listened to what everyone was craving. I was talking to Chloe Hayes55 about it earlier—you know how she gets when she starts overanalyzing set times—and we were both just staring at our screens in total disbelief. There's just something about the way the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival curates these vibes... it isn't just about the big names, though God knows those are incredible, it's that specific feeling of being there, under the lights, when the energy shifts... it's hard to put into words. Anyway, I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the logistics of getting tickets without losing my mind in a digital queue. It’s going to be a battle, for sure... but man, if it means seeing these artists live, I think I'm ready to fight for it. kaže:
Man... I am genuinely stumped here... This caught me COMPLETELY off guard—especially since the last time I laid eyes on them, they were practically jumping out of everything from canned meat and yogurt to margarine and even the bushes... honestly, every single corner of my house was cluttered with them... I mean, I am TRULY shell-shocked...🙄

Exactly!! 😳

I’ve gotta say, I’m feeling a little let down by the lineup they've released so far. I actually went ahead and grabbed my tickets way in advance—which, looking back, might have been a bit optimistic—so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but now that I'm seeing the actual roster... there just isn't much to work with... 🙄
Does anyone happen to know where I can snag tickets right now?
I checked the T-Mobile store over by the flower district, but they're completely sold out...
