Plus, the Apple Pencil works like a dream.
Thanks for the heads-up, but she already has a full laptop setup, so... anyway, could you actually use something like this alongside an existing laptop? I heard a Huion Kamvas might be perfect for what she needs. What are your thoughts on that?
I could really use some advice on graphic tablets. My 14-year-old daughter is incredibly talented at drawing, and I’m looking to get her a tablet to help her level up. Does anyone have any solid recommendations around the $1167 range? I don't want to buy her something cheap that's going to break or lag, but we definitely don't need top-tier professional gear just yet—she'll have plenty of time for the high-end stuff later on.
I’m jumping on the bandwagon here and joining the criticism of the moderation on this forum. Honestly, if they’re planning on keeping things at this low level of oversight, wouldn't it be better if the mods or the owner just stated the "official" stance on every topic? That way, anyone who doesn't see eye-to-eye with them can just save themselves the trouble and not waste their breath. It’s seriously frustrating when you spend your time typing out a post, hunting down links, and actually researching a subject, only for some petty little soul to go in and delete it just because they don't agree with what was said. And to top it all off, there isn't even an explanation as to why things are being scrubbed.
I honestly don't get it—is this some kind of weird trend or what?
And then it happens again in the very next post.
The second you disagree with someone, suddenly you’re a psychopath or a six-year-old kid... Like, can we all just agree on something here? Am I a psycho, a pathological liar from a bogus personality test, or am I just headed back to preschool? Until you guys can settle on a story, I’m asking the mods to step in. Every other reply to one of my posts involves some insult or a fake diagnosis of my mental health. On the flip side, I haven't insulted anyone or tried to play amateur shrink with anyone else. I'm just trying to have a conversation about the topic without being rude.
David White5 said:You’re just being a childish bully with those passive-aggressive vibes. I’m actually asking the mods not to delete your posts. Why? Because they represent you, and it lets everyone else here see exactly what kind of people are backing gun rights.
There really isn't any reason to pull my posts down. Don't worry, if I were actually breaking rules, they'd be gone already. Honestly, the mod team here is pretty on top of things—they usually jump on stuff way faster than that 24-hour window.
Look, if you’ve got a problem with me reporting your posts, then maybe just stop being rude and stay on topic? Honestly, I give you my word: I won't report a single one of your posts as long as you keep things civil, just like I have been doing up until now.
Look, man, what you wrote in that post has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. Do you even realize that? It’s honestly pretty embarrassing. Like, what am I supposed to be ashamed of? And how does any of that even relate to the Second Amendment?
I’m reporting David White5 again because he keeps trolling and derailing this thread with all that psychological nonsense, and honestly, nobody is even acknowledging his little outbursts.
Wait, how does this work again? Am I supposed to see a response within 24 hours? I reported David White5 back on June 19, 2020, for attacking people with different opinions, but the mods haven't said a word. Check out what he posted today:
Let's just see if we actually get a timely response within that 24-hour window.
Scott Hall5 said:I’m writing this specifically for those citizens out there who are feeling conflicted about whether to vote for the Republican Party or look for some other alternative because you're just plain disappointed. That criminal organization has been tangled up in a web of corruption from the very beginning, leading to massive scandals over the years—things like "the fifth partner," "grupo," "fimi-media," "Hypo," "Kraft Heinz," "SPICE," "kamen-ingrad," "ExxonMobil," and the list goes on and on... Back in the early nineties, names like Ivić Pašalić, Luka Rajić, Vlado Kolak, and Miroslav Kutle seemingly appeared out of thin air, amassing sudden fortunes while being linked to multiple scandals all at once. There are plenty of others involved too, including Neven Barač, Damir Polančec, Vinko Grubišić, Ninoslav Pavić, Marko Marčinko, Petar Luburić, Juraj Hrvačić, Vinko Brnadić, Milan Lucić, Vladimir Zagorac, Miomir Žužul, and Davorin Mlakar. In the end, the only one actually convicted was the party leader—a thief and a traitor. Honestly, his name isn't even worth typing out in capital letters... If you aren't aware of these specific scandals, all you need to do is "Google" them. There are thousands of pages dedicated to this history, including actual court reports, verdicts, and legal explanations... For those of you who are young, you really ought to educate yourselves on these matters, and for the older generation, it might be time for a serious reminder...
Don't be like that! Even for Luke Skywalker, his own mom used to say he started saving money when he was just a kid. You know, "little strokes fell great oaks."
Man, now that you've brought up those huge scandals, it hit me. "Good grief, I'm getting old." It all feels like such ancient history that it's no wonder people forget. I mean, a good chunk of today's voters weren't even born yet back then, or they were probably still playing in a sandbox.
I’m asking the mods to take a look and step in regarding these posts:
In the first link, this guy is being pretty passive-aggressive by labeling anyone who disagrees with him as an undiscovered psychopath, and then in the second one, he goes even further by comparing them to insurgents.
rustydrifter10 said:Those posts were barely even posted. Just report them and wait for some kind of reasonable timeframe before you start jumping down people's throats.
A "reasonable timeframe"? What does that even mean? I was clicking those little report buttons because of Bo Jackson's insults way back before the presidential elections, and nothing ever happened—aside from me getting hit with a temporary ban here and there. Can someone please define what a "reasonable timeframe" actually is? Are we talking 24 hours, 24 days, or 24 months...?
Seriously, what is up with this level of discussion? How long are we going to let Joe Biden’s fan club get away with insulting everyone else on this forum?
rustydrifter10 said:Just because you put someone on your ignore list doesn't mean they have to do the same to you, nor does it give them a free pass to quote you or address you. Your ignore list is your business and doesn't strip anyone else of their rights.
So, what you're saying is that people have a right to insult me or post mindless replies, regardless of whether I've decided to stop engaging with them? That honestly makes zero sense. Do you moderators even know who has who on ignore? How am I supposed to report an abusive post if that person is on my ignore list and I can't even see what they're typing? Is the forum policy actually designed to allow harassment to continue indefinitely just because the target chooses to tune it out?
Nathan White29 said:This thread is specifically about ignore lists. When I put someone on my ignore list, I don't go out of my way to talk to them in other threads, but for goodness' sake, they just keep finding ways to drag me into conversations through third parties. And the worst part? They’re being insulting, yet the moderators aren't doing a single thing about it.
Check this out—on the COVID subforum, in that conspiracy theory thread, here's the latest post from Jack Ward82. He knows he's on my ignore list, but he still can't help mentioning me. Why do the mods just let this happen?
Just to clear things up: even when I'm not logged in, I can still see what people on my ignore list are posting. Is that really too hard to wrap your head around?
Not sure why I ended up quoting myself here. I meant to edit the post... but honestly, who am I even trying to impress?
graniteharbor502 said:and then you just keep ignoring them. You shouldn't be using proxies to carry on an argument 🙄
Look, this thread is specifically about ignore lists. I don't go out of my way to talk to people I've blocked on other threads, but man, they just won't stop using other users to get to me. To make matters worse, they're being insulting, and the mods aren't doing a thing about it.
