So, I need to get my prescription checked. I called the local clinic over at the community health center, and they told me they're actually the only ones in town still taking referrals. They’ve got a full schedule through the end of the year, and they aren't even looking at new appointments until January 1st.😲😕 I pay for supplemental insurance every single month, yet here I am, unable to even get on a list. Who knows when I'll actually see a doctor? It looks like another 4 months of waiting. Does anyone know if there's an option where, if the wait times are this ridiculous, you can just go to a private specialist and have the insurance cover it? It's maddening.🙂
Steven Chavez2 said:So, listen, my partner and I finally tied the knot this past Saturday. We decided to go with a cake from Amelia, and let me tell you—it was an absolute knockout. Everyone was raving about it. (The rest of the dessert spread was handled by the pub where we held the reception.)
For a crowd of 70 people, $0.47.
It was a hazelnut creation, featuring nuts ground down to three different textures—coarse, medium, and fine—which made the flavor just divine. Plus, the owner and I managed to hammer out all the details incredibly quickly; she’s a lovely woman.
I am dead certain I'll be heading back there just for another slice of that cake. Look, I'm not exactly someone who goes overboard on sweets, but this one? It hit the spot perfectly. Even my guests were completely blown away.
Goodness, you’re more in demand than a snow shovel in a blizzard! Seriously though—how much does it usually cost to make enough cake for about 80 people? If anyone knows, let me know.
Those cakes look incredible!😲 I’ve honestly never seen anything quite like them. Could you let me know where you picked them up and what they went for? I'm especially curious about those cake pops and the little appetizer cups.
