Anyway, I picked up a ticket at Target yesterday and the cashier looked like she was about two seconds away from ripping the top off the deck. I don't know how things were looking elsewhere, but based on that, I'm not feeling great about any massive lines. Maybe they'll just sell them right at the entrance?

That's because you're trying to run the installer instead of just unzipping the archive, man. You could probably try other software, but honestly, just put in the effort to get these running. It's not like you need a NASA supercomputer to make these work.
It’s not a bad move using Avidemux if you’ve already got the SubRip filter installed. Just follow the steps over at: http://divxstation.com/article.asp?aId=100. They aren't exactly brain surgery, either. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be cruising through it like it's nothing. 🙂

Even WinRAR couldn't compress this mess. A buddy of mine told me he tried to get one of them to hitch a ride to Kansas City, but the guy wouldn't budge, even though there was plenty of room in the car.
