Essential cult classics you've never seen in Movies ·

I've watched 38 from the list. 😉
Honestly, there were a few on here I'd never even heard of. 😕 Also, the order doesn't matter much to me; I'll take them in any sequence. It's just too hard to pick a single absolute favorite, so the ranking itself feels pretty arbitrary. How many of you have actually sat through this list?

Well, I guess I'm the outlier here. I'll admit it—I'm repenting and feeling the shame—but I have never once seen Terminator. Not one time. Out of all those "essential" classics.
What kind of ridiculous list is this anyway?

Honestly, those "we want to screw everything up" songs never struck me as funny—not like the stuff from the Dwarves, for instance. To me, they always felt aged and decadent, almost like The Rolling Stones. ... personally, the best album I've ever heard is "Aural Sculpture."
(best track - "skin Deep". worst - "Nica ' n ' Sleazy")

Man, oh man... I know people have already torn you apart for being blasphemous, but I’ll admit, I'm a little shocked too.

Old farts, you say? Look, they never pretended they didn't come straight out of that pub-rock scene, and so what if they did? If anything, that made them way more interesting than most of that first wave of punk. They weren't afraid to ditch the traditional rock tropes, like heavy keyboards. But they *could* use them if they wanted to, unlike that bunch of amateurs who just latched onto punk because they were clueless or lacked actual talent.

Ugh, I can't deal with this anymore. The Stranglers are the absolute gold standard, period. Vote Hugh Cornwell for President.

Is that your go-to line for everything you don't quite grasp?🙄

I don't see why you're reaching for irony. The fact that the movie got under my skin is an undeniable argument. It irritated me—that was my subjective experience while watching it—and therefore, it’s an indisputable fact.

And honestly? It irritated me because it felt like it was trying way too hard. To be fair, only *The Royal Tenenbaums* has managed to cut me that deep in recent years.

I have to be honest, Watching Being John Malkovich really got under my skin. I'm struggling to even find the right words for it. It was just an incredibly irritating piece of junk.
