It’s a total cinematic masterpiece—Malkovich really takes his time with the pacing, but man, that ending is absolutely legendary... A brilliant piece of work...

Man, I watched that flick a few years back... kind of a "spoiler alert" situation though!

It’s weird, kind of hilarious, and honestly pretty gripping. A solid watch. 🙂

I have to be honest, Watching Being John Malkovich really got under my skin. I'm struggling to even find the right words for it. It was just an incredibly irritating piece of junk.

I think the movie is brilliant—the whole concept is just completely wild and off the rails. Between the editing happening on the 7th floor and that boss who’s convinced his speech is slurred even though his secretary is actually the one losing it... and then, of course, there's the Malkovich scene. 😁
The soundtrack is top-tier.

The way they absolutely shredded Cameron Diaz is just killing me, honestly, you can't help but laugh when you see it.

I remember that movie, though it’s all a bit hazy in my mind right now.

It had this whole trippy concept involving an entrance on the 13th or 14th floor of some building—which actually served as the gateway into John Malkovich's head!

I think I absolutely loved it when I first saw it, even if the details are a little fuzzy today—I'm definitely going to have to give it another watch whenever I get a free moment!

I don't see why you're reaching for irony. The fact that the movie got under my skin is an undeniable argument. It irritated me—that was my subjective experience while watching it—and therefore, it’s an indisputable fact.

And honestly? It irritated me because it felt like it was trying way too hard. To be fair, only *The Royal Tenenbaums* has managed to cut me that deep in recent years.

I absolutely loathe movies that build up my expectations only to leave me feeling utterly let down—it’s even worse than being skeptical from the get-go.

God, they just completely phoned it in during the second half. The decline starts around the midpoint, and by the end, the whole thing has gone completely off the rails—three times over, actually. What a total waste of time!

When you really look at it, this plot should have been a ten-to-fifteen-minute sketch on a late-night comedy show—though, honestly, I doubt even that would have worked—rather than a full two-hour feature.
