I remember putting my very first contact lens in when I was just 13... took me a solid 25 minutes of struggling, haha... I was so impatient.
Actually, I had them put it in and take it out at the eye clinic that same day. If I hadn't done it there, who knows when I would have finally figured it out on my own? 🙂 I can still hear my uncle telling me exactly when to go for it: "Alright, now reach deep into the eye and grab it...!" 😁😁😁

It’s honestly such a finicky process. You either end up folding them, they just won't budge from your finger, or they overlap once they're actually in your eye. But, I finally pulled it off. Now, I just hope taking the protectors off goes as smoothly. 😁
Of course it isn't some kind of embarrassment. People are being unnecessarily fearful. What bugs me most is when someone says, "I could never put anything in my eye!" Then you have to explain to them that the contact lens doesn't go IN the eye—it goes ON the eye. 😁
You’ll pick up the lens manipulation technique in no time. Honestly, nobody finds it easy when you're working with brand-new, fresh lenses. Give it a week or two until they lose just a bit of that initial moisture—then they’ll move exactly how you want them to. Just watch those fingernails! 🙂

I just buy mine right here in Washington, D.C. I’m not trying to run an ad or anything, so if you're interested, just shoot me a PM. I paid for 3 pairs $100. Personally, I can stretch them out to 5 or 6 months easily. I've been wearing soft lenses for 9 years now and they are honestly a lifesaver, especially when things get intense—like when I was playing sports heavily. No pair of glasses could ever replace them for me 👍.
