Looking at this gif, it honestly looks like the wheels made contact first
Look, if someone actually slammed into someone else and we had to go hunting for a culprit—fine, sure. But at least today we saw dozens of those wheel-to-wheel moments where they were just fighting for position, nothing more. The real issue is that once that rear tire gets clipped, you're done. Even if you tried to do it on purpose, you’d probably fail a million times before pulling off the same result. That's just how it goes.
Folks really need to quit playing favorites with Lewis Hamilton. Sure, this was Nico Rosberg's mistake, but the idea that he did it intentionally? Please. Yeah, Lewis Hamilton had a puncture, but how do you even plan to pop someone else's tire? He could’ve lost a wing and trashed his own race in the process—it was just a momentary lapse in awareness, a standard racing incident. And to those claiming Nico isn't a top-tier driver—how do you explain him racking up more pole positions this season?

I'm American and have never liked Lewis Hamilton. Don't get me wrong, he's a world-class driver—no one is disputing that—but his attitude is just off. It feels like all he does is complain and point fingers; it’s never his own fault. Plus, those childish comments about being "hungrier" for the title because of his background compared to Nico... it's just nonsense. Let the racing speak for itself. Nico hasn't spent a single second bashing Lewis Hamilton. If Lewis Hamilton wants to truly be the best, he needs better character and a better mindset. Look at Ricciardo, for instance—he’s had his share of ups and downs this season, yet he always keeps a smile on his face regardless of the chaos. Whereas Lewis just goes looking for someone else to take the fall. This is a team sport—you either sink or swim together, and he seriously needs to grasp that.

While that absolute clown is busy sh*tting all over Twitter from within the Mercedes camp, let’s call this what it actually was—just a racing incident. It was a whole lot of nothing, really—much ado about nothing. It was just a duel where neither driver was willing to blink, but since the whiny one folded, suddenly everyone's acting like it's the end of the world. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115558

🤮
Did you guys catch what Niko said? What a class act 🙏
Michael Diaz4 said:Taking a corner like that is just overkill—it actually reminds me of those wild moves Sebastian Vettel used to pull back when he first started out... Maggie always knew how to handle it while everyone else was busy overestimating themselves... Honestly, Maggie keeps proving what a solid driver he is—excellent, really—the guy definitely knows his way around a turn...

He absolutely blew me away today 🙏 along with Bottas 🙏 and hats off to Ricciardo, obviously 👍
Jason Campbell70 said:I’d bet anything you were blaming Ayrton Senna for that whole Senna-Prost '89 showdown at the Suzuki race not too long ago.
But hey, whatever.

I honestly have no clue why you're trying to link two events that aren't even remotely related🤷
Jason Campbell70 said:That little bump just cost him an extra 18 points in the driver's championship.

He was basically just looking for a way to actually make it through the track—honestly, you guys are being way too dramatic.

Lewis Hamilton shut the door on him, which is just standard racing, but the real issue is how badly he blew it...

straight😂
Edward Howard2 said:It’s always easy to play general after the battle is over and claim that Maestro didn't shine this race—but the reality is, before that penalty, he was ahead of Kimi. Since Kimi finished fourth, we’ll honestly never know where he would have landed if it wasn't for that penalty, which he didn't cause and isn't even responsible for. Would he have finished fourth, or would he have been on the podium in third? That penalty completely dictated his race rhythm and significantly tanked his final result. He wouldn't even be fighting Magnussen, Bottas, or those other jokers at the end of the race because he’d likely be somewhere up ahead of Kimi, battling Bottas for a spot on the podium...

Alonso is currently P1 on the grid 👍 if it weren't for that penalty, he would have won the race 👍 if that stupid sponsor decal hadn't peeled off last race and messed up the aerodynamics, he would've won too 👍 and if they hadn't botched the strategy due to some bad calls in the Ferrari pit wall and stayed out one more lap, he would've won that too—it's a no-brainer 👍 ...and so on and so forth. Ever since the season started, all I hear from you guys is constant complaining. For crying out loud, we all know by now that Alonso has basically had to carry the championship on his back, constantly dealing with "if only this happened" or "if only that went right." 👍
Michael Diaz4 said:Right, so Vettel just drifted right past him without even noticing—Jenson Button and the rest were the same way... It’s like they weren't even trying to charm him... And then there's Bottas... Honestly, once Button finally crossed the line, it was pretty obvious where everyone stood...

I found that one specific turn interesting—the one where they kept trying to dive down the outside. It clearly looked like a golden opportunity to them, but they just kept running wide—first Button, then Alonso, maybe a few others too.
Valtteri Bottas and Magnussen are absolutely running the show 🙂
dustycyclist19 said:Unknown, you guys are honestly pathetic. So Kimi grabs his first win over Fernando Alonso by race 11, while Ricciardo is out there hunting his third win in basically the same car—and meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel hasn't even touched the podium once. If we're the pathetic ones, you lot are practically staring into the abyss right now.😂

It’s not even about who beats whom at this point—it’s just how you people constantly hunt for some external excuse whenever Alonso has a bad result...
Drew Bennett68 said:The unknown driver cruised through that one—not bad at all.

currently the race leader
someone’s gotta grab at least a couple of points, right?
What a way to wrap things up—Vettel, Magnussen, Button, Alonso 🙏

Race finishers: Ricciardo, Bottas, Magnussen 🙏
Jason Campbell70 said:Seriously, how many times this season is he going to try and pull a dirty move like that? 🤮

racing incident
looks like 😢Nico Rosberg is having a rough time of it too
nobody quite like the old guy from thirty years ago🙂
