You guys are all coddling her and policing my language like it’s a crime—honestly, everything is fine. Her mother spent two hours crying over nothing, even though she doesn't even believe in God.
Based on what she's posting, she isn't the one who needs help—it's her mom.
Wait, why am I the one getting flack for swearing, while nobody seems to care that she basically went for a skullcap?
You're downplaying what she did, yet somehow my behavior is the big issue here?
I'm reading through this thread—probably just because it was the first one I saw. I’m not really part of this crowd, and I doubt I’ll even bother replying to anything else here.😁
Richard Rodriguez17, what is actually wrong with you? You're an ego-driven mess. Honestly, the last person on Earth who could stand you is probably your own mother, and you've driven her right to the edge.
Seriously, you cursed God right in front of her and she spent two hours in tears.
She doesn't care about you, or any future daughter-in-law, or even God at this point—she's clearly just exhausted dealing with all of you.
Just catering to your little tantrums.
On top of that, you're so full of yourself, thinking the entire world should be revolving around you.
Looking at how much you complain, it seems like you blame everyone else for your own flaws—medication, a niece, your dad, your brother... you could go on forever.
Maybe try working on your self-esteem a bit. It shouldn't involve taking your frustrations out on your family like this.
Here’s my referral link for Chime.
It doesn't just happen automatically.
Give them a call and tell them you're interested in getting a card made and sent over to you.
They're pretty helpful—it’s not like they'll pretend the option doesn't exist or anything—but you can't expect it to be automated.
Give it about three weeks.
Look, you don't actually have that much debt.
If you managed to pull a loan for about 100 $0.00 over 7 years at a 4% interest rate, you’d be looking at paying back roughly $46667 over an 84-month term $550.
That's totally doable on an average New York City salary $1833
.
But honestly? The smartest move would be to just pay off all those credit cards. Or, if you really have to keep one, maybe refinance it—that way, if you ever try to buy something or withdraw cash, you'll have to tell the bank you lost the physical card and need a new one sent out.
Maybe by then you'll have cooled off on the shopping sprees.
Just stick to using cash for everything else.
If you think you aren't going to change your spending habits, taking on more debt—like this loan—is a bad idea.
I've got a Chime referral code, KATAR860. Just plug it in when you're signing up for a new account—you'll snag $25 after your first transaction, provided you do it by Jan 31st.
Nah, no way.
Now they’re looking to tweak the bankruptcy laws just so they don't "accidentally" receive anything into a foreign account—even if you have a local IBAN—strictly so they can get their hands on your money.
briskhound2 said:So, can someone actually break down why this movie is such an absolute train wreck? 🤷 Just an idea... right now it feels like everyone is just recycling the exact same homework assignment.
The main issue is the whole premise—Pompeii (turns out people aren't big fans of tragic romances). It’s kind of ridiculous to try and pull off a love story set in that tiny window between a guy becoming a gladiator and everything blowing up—love at first sight followed by sudden death within a day or two, maybe a week tops. The opening sequence showing how the lead ends up a gladiator is pretty pointless. And that whole subplot where the general is obsessed with the lead actress? Totally forced. The entire plot is just one cliché after another without any actual logic...
