If I want to use the hard drive—say, I record stuff from the TV onto a DVD and then move it to my PC—I found someone asking the same thing, but they had a different graphics card setup with an S-video input. I don't have that.

So, how am I supposed to hook up a graphics card to a DVD recorder that has its own 160 GB hard drive? Do I need some kind of adapter, or can I just plug it in directly? Thanks in advance.



These here are the component video ports.

You can download whatever format you want in HD resolution. My advice? Just grab a brrip using DivX—say, 1280 * 720. It’ll be around 1-2 GB. Besides, you don't even have the DVDrip for Harry Potter 7 Part 2 yet, let alone a brrip. Just wait a bit and grab the DVDrip; the picture quality is fine and you won't have to convert anything. I have no idea where you found that 8 GB file, because usually, the best quality is a brrip, followed by a DVDrip. Everything else is just garbage (TS, CAM...).

If you're dead set on using GOM because it's supposedly the best player, try this: download it directly from the official site, install it (but make sure you uninstall your old version first), and grab the K-Lite codec pack. That should fix it. I’m running GOM right now—my kids are watching Despicable Me in MKV at 1280x696 and it works flawlessly. Merry Christmas, everyone. 🙂

If you want to watch HD movies, Splash Player is the absolute best choice.

I haven't tried it that way yet, but... I went ahead and wiped everything again just to reinstall a version from two years ago—version 1.31. It works fine for now, but the second the update process kicks in, those same errors start popping up again.😠

I tried uninstalling with Your Uninstaller, then swapped to a different free version, then even rolled back to an older build, but I keep hitting the same wall. I’ve been Googling this error, but nobody seems to have a real fix. I even went as far as switching my antivirus software, but still nothing.🤷

So, I had Malwarebytes running on my machine. Then out of nowhere, I get hit with this: MBAM ERROR EXPANDING VARIABLES (0.9), followed by MBAM ERROR MISSING FILE (3.0 mbamswissarmy.sys). The system claims it can't find the path. I’ve already tried a full reinstallation and even messed around with different versions, but nothing works. If anyone actually knows how to fix this...🙏

350-550 with black bars (16:9), or 350-450 full frame at 4:3. That’s how I run mine.
