Lucky me. I was already starting to think you’d need a meditation app just to get through this one.

Come on, please tell me you're just playing dumb.

I'm talking about us regular, everyday moderators. 😢

Well, that's probably because they're still living in the Middle Ages over there, so transferring money electronically isn't exactly an option. 😁

Why do you think I was so relieved when that forum finally opened? I've been obsessing over the hard sciences non-stop since then.🙂

It’s hardly illegal, unless you live in some hyper-regulated corner of America or the USA. Fair use laws exist specifically so you can make copies for personal use—backups, converting formats, that kind of thing. Why make it so complicated?

Safari, hands down. I just can't figure out which specific browser is throwing errors when running Trend Micro HouseCall... That's the one thing that actually gets under my skin. 😢

It’s always funny when someone who doesn't know the first thing about tech starts praising a Firewall. They could have ten tons of Trojans sitting on their hard drive and they wouldn't even notice.

The free version is solid. It can be a bit of a pain—all those constant security alerts really get under your skin—but the actual Firewall component works perfectly fine.

So I'm supposedly Bob? "Supposedly" can mean anything. I doubt Microsoft is actually interested; they’ve spent so much effort breaking compatibility with older versions of Internet Explorer and polishing up Internet Explorer 7 that buying Safari seems poorly timed.
The only thing that might interest them is Safari's dominance in the mobile market. As soon as it hits the E60, I'm grabbing 🙂

Great. Now we wait for the thread. Everything I'm downloading online is corrupted. Anyone else willing to help? 😁

John Palmer4 said:So what exactly is your problem with the CIA?
I mean, if it were actually the garbage you claim it is, nobody would touch it, and development would just grind to a halt.

Personally, I think you just don't have a clue how to configure it properly, so you hide your own incompetence by trashing someone else's hard work.

Aside from the fact that it integrates perfectly with Norton firewall and other tools while being an absolute dumpster fire itself? Or how it runs its own processes while treating the user like an afterthought? Just little things like that.😛

At the end of the day, the CIA is pure trash. Honestly, any IBM that claims to be "user friendly" is usually terrible. It’s either dangerously insecure or it blocks absolutely everything.

😬

No big deal, some guy named Croacker helped me out. You can tell the guy actually knows his stuff. 😁

If I were running things, I would have shut this thread down after your first reply—that would be the second reason to kill it. The first, obviously, is the lack of any coherent question. Beyond just closing the thread, I’d point you toward the pinned FAQ on how to actually present a problem properly. Then I’d probably toss you a ban just to make sure you stay annoyed. Ah, the good old days. 😁

I think I might start taking that approach myself. If someone can't bother to frame a coherent question, they should probably just learn how to use Google. 😁

The only real addition to Vista is the DRM, and honestly, it feels like more of the same. Maybe they’ll claim the GUI needs a high-end graphics card to run smoothly too.

Of course it can. Every single package goes through four processing cycles, and every system essentially "demands" a specific amount of credits. Granted, we’re looking at the average—or maybe just the median—of those credit requirements.

Sophia Castillo35 said:Rachel Brooks63 made a good point, though since you've only got one post, I doubt it'll be an issue. It gets messy when someone with a massive post count and a established "identity" decides to switch things up and confuses everyone.

Just ask one of the admins; maybe slycrane94 can help you out. 🙂

Why? Wouldn't it be easier if the admin just handled the nickname change themselves?

[Signature: I have no interest in cloning or redundant accounts. 😬 ]

What did I ever do to you to deserve this extra work? I was actually having a relaxing day... I'm working in the lab and now you've completely ruined my flow. 😁

The package remains identical. However, a faster processor will handle more packets within the same timeframe, won't it?

It’s not about how fast the processor is; it’s just a matter of how much CPU time is being consumed.

Somewhere between 30 and 80. It really depends on which package you go with.
