Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up a pack of those glow-in-the-dark fluorescent bracelets or sticks? Maybe somewhere local?
I don't know, I had it over the summer—you know, hanging out at beaches and all that... and that was five years ago. I mean, I'm not sure if those painful lumps show up right after the infection hits. Maybe you picked it up at a public restroom, or maybe at the pool, or even from your guy.

In my case, it honestly doesn't seem to be linked to anything specific. I've just got it... and I’m genuinely curious if things will finally settle down once I stop using birth control. Some people claim there's a connection there, suggesting it might have to do with whether vaginal pH levels are staying where they should be.

Yeah, totally. I used to be on birth control too, and ever since then, these issues just started popping up. I haven't been able to shake them at all... but about three months ago, I started taking Lactogyn probiotics, and now I can tell my pH is back to normal.
I dealt with the exact same issue for years, just couldn't seem to shake that Candida. Ever since I started using Lactogyn two months ago, everything has finally settled down and my supply feels totally normal again. Maybe give it a shot.

So, I've been taking Lactogyn and using Hygieia for about two and a half months now, and I guess things are finally starting to look up.

So, my OB-GYN actually suggested I start taking these tablets, and I've been on them for about two months now. Honestly, everything seems to be back to normal. Before this, I was dealing with this awful discharge and constant yeast infections—it was just endless. I guess I'm just wondering how long people usually stay on them? I think I heard somewhere that three months is the standard, but I'm not totally sure.

Well, if you pick up bacteria from a pool, like ureaplasma for example, you don't get swab results to fix it—you need antibiotics. I guess I'm in the same boat, just waiting to see what happens next.
stormyjackal46 said:Not at all. I already had the swabs done, and once again—besides just basic bacteria—there was absolutely nothing else found...

What do you mean by nothing besides bacteria? I guess if there's bacteria, it probably caused the inflammation.

Basically, back in July, I ended up in the ER because of this intense pain in my lower right abdomen. I couldn't even eat because the nausea was so bad. The pain went on for days, so the doctor initially suspected appendicitis. However, they didn't find anything at the ER besides a little bit of bacteria in my urine; everything looked fine on the ultrasound, so they just told me to go see a gynecologist. I’ve had cysts on both ovaries before, but during the exam, the gynecologist said my ovaries looked clear. That didn't help much, though, because the pain came roaring back a month later, right before my period, and then my next period was late. This month has been brutal: heavy pain all over my abdomen, especially the lower part, cramps, sharp stabbing sensations, pain around my right hip and lower spine, and this dull ache that pops up around my belly button. Right now, I'm in the middle of switching gynecologists, but the one I moved to isn't accepting Medicare until the New Year, and I simply don't have the cash for a private specialist. I don't know if anyone here has gone through something similar? I just need some direction on where to even start. It's not quite every single day, but it feels like it most of the time, and there are days when it feels like period cramps so bad I can barely walk.

I'm actually in a pretty similar spot myself. Honestly, it might be some kind of lingering inflammation from chlamydia. Maybe try getting some swabs done? Though, I guess it's a long shot that they'll even catch it if you've had it for a while. PS: Are you noticing any heavy discharge lately?
