I’m not lost or anything, I get it... but could you maybe drop a link for where I can pick up some GNC or MuscleTech? Ideally somewhere I can just walk in and grab it rather than waiting on shipping.

Look, if you're in a big city like Chicago, you'll probably end up looking like a total amateur if you go hunting for specific brands locally. You've got GNC and a million other shops—just use Google

For the last year, I've just been ordering online from the US and the savings are massive. I think you can find stuff on eBay too.

Secondly, you say the most expensive stuff isn't worth it, then drop a link to the priciest proteins on our market. Even over in Canada, even if things seem cheaper there than here, they're still among the most expensive options. What's pricey for them is actually cheap for us.

Sorry man, but you're tripping and getting way too worked up.

There's a ton of hydrolyzed protein out there that costs 30% more than this, and this price is actually fair. Sure, there are cheaper ones (maybe $17), but these are definitely the best buy.

Ten months at the gym and you're still not taking them?? 🙂

Look, everyone’s gonna swear by their own brand. No point blowing your budget on the most expensive stuff just because it's marginally better than the standard options. My choice...

Better head over to this subforum and ask around there. Honestly, I suspect you might be eating too often... your stomach probably never gets a break. You could also check out those Gracie diet plans by Carlos Gracie online, among plenty of others.

Amanda Hughes7 said:Hey guys! So, I’m looking into self-defense classes here in the States... where can I actually sign up for something? Is it usually through a local MMA gym or more like a specialized martial arts club? I’ve been scouring the web but honestly, I’m coming up empty. Any leads would be amazing! Thanks a bunch..

It’s healthy, I guess, but I hate it when her dad throws it on the grill... ends up being way too dry and full of tiny bones 🙂

Hey everyone, looking for a boxing or kickboxing club for my girlfriend. Needs to be evening sessions, somewhere around the Jarun or North Side area... anyone got any leads?

So what if you're vegetarian? You've still got plenty of options—nuts, algae, dairy, soy, and a whole list of other stuff
Just don't treat whey like a meal replacement three times a day. It's best used right after a workout, nothing more.

Is everyone watching every single gram they eat? Is having almost three teaspoons of sugar a day actually okay?
Honestly, I don't get it... 😕

Sugar is fine if you're bulking up. If you're just trying to cut, keep those carbs to a minimum.

Go check out their website and look at the prices. The guys here are straight up robbing us blind. You can find a few of those shops over in Canada

True, that space is totally in limbo (though there are plenty of others just like it)

Both of these clubs are big enough that they probably have daycare options too, so you should definitely ask...

For sure, an activity like this in a proper environment will really help a little one progress... Personally, I think Judo—with its focus on technique over hitting and learning how to fall correctly—is a muuuuch better choice here than combat sports that involve striking...

👍

you can tell the kid is more interested in striking than throws

personally, I think wrestling is better for kids than judo

Dan Gun isn't the way to go. Better to hit up Kyokushin Karate instead of TKD. At least you'll actually learn something useful there... Clubs
