Honestly, looking at the numbers, Argentina’s only shot at making a deep run this year is riding the hype from Messi's last World Cup run. Right now, the European teams are just playing in a completely different league from everyone else.
Last time we cut your ban short, you didn't show any improvement, so that option is officially off the table. Trying to bargain isn't going to change my mind. You're looking at a two-week ban because you racked up over 600 points—most of which came from using two different accounts to spam the same thread. This isn't even your first rodeo, either; I still remember when brisktrucker51 and Donna Miller4 were both clogging up that moon landing discussion. Whether or not you decide to show up after July 17th is entirely up to you. I couldn't care less.
For God's sake, you've been dragging out these marathon debates about Hrgović forever. Even if my take on him is way more favorable than yours, it doesn't really matter—different perspectives are the whole point of this forum. Look, I’m with you on the Fury and Wilder stuff, but you're missing the forest for the trees here. Writing endless blog posts or just endlessly chatting isn't how we do things on this board. You probably realized by now that trying to flip the majority's opinion on certain topics is a losing battle, which leads back to that pointless chatting. Eventually, it just turns into insults, everyone else gets fed up and walks away, and then you two or three end up hijacking the entire thread—which is totally unacceptable. Clean up your act a bit.
Consider this a 100-point deduction and a one-day ban.
After you and two others turned the Fury vs Wilder III thread into a dumping ground for conspiracy theories, you were given a warning. Then came the 10-point penalties for trolling. Eventually, the others caught on and behaved, but clearly, you didn't get the memo.
When you managed to hijack the Joshua-Usyk thread by dragging Wilder into it and claiming "I don't see how Fury can win fairly," I finally lost my patience. Is there something about the thread title that confuses you? What does Wilder have to do with that discussion? How many times do I have to tell you to stop shoving your conspiracy theories about the rematch into every single topic we have?
Like bluemason3 said—you're walking on thin ice, and you've been warned multiple times. The worst part is that you aren't showing any sign of actually changing your ways.
After being warned that a partial ban was coming, you decided the best move was to start talking to yourself using a second account (tata1). That's when the admin handed down a ban for that behavior (of course, you played the victim and acted like you had no clue what happened, acting like a total genius). Since that penalty hadn't expired yet, it stacked with your other points, bringing you to 600 total. Because of that, this one-day ban just turned into a two-week lockout.
The admin could have easily slapped you with a permanent ban for using multiple accounts, or I could have just issued the partial ban you were already warned about. You lucked out, so you really have no grounds to complain.
Nothing ever seems to click with you; I feel like I'm explaining things to a toddler over and over again. I rarely hand out bans, and when I do, I make sure everything is clear. But honestly, I’m done explaining myself to you.
You're in isolation until July 17th. One more wrong move and it's a partial ban. Even Nietzsche explained what that means, just in case you're still confused.
Some of you guys love to go back and forth in the comments, so please just move the chatter over here. That way, everyone else can actually get a word in on the other threads.
A partial ban basically means a specific user is restricted from posting in a particular sub-Reddit—in your case, Donna Miller4 is banned from the Martial Arts section. We issue these when warnings, strikes, and short-term suspensions fail to actually change anyone's behavior. Both me and those other guys already gave you a heads-up about this about a month and a half ago. Messing around with your own alt account (Dad 1) isn't helping your case, and neither is playing the "I have no idea what you're talking about" card. Get it together, get your act together, and things will settle down. It’s entirely up to you.
The writing style is suspicious, but the technical specs back it up. As Jessica Morris6 pointed out, don't be an idiot and stop doing that—you can't post under two different handles on the same thread. For someone who is one step away from being a total fraud, you really are incredibly persistent.
Donna Miller4, seriously, at least five people have asked why you're typing like a total clone. It was obvious it was you, yet you’re still playing dumb. This isn't even the first time you've been caught having a conversation with yourself. Just take the hit, shut your mouth, and accept this ban. Then maybe try focusing so you don't end up facing that partial suspension you were warned about a few months back.
I was explaining the previous ban. You got this new one today because of your actual post.
In the MMA thread, you decided to pivot to something that has absolutely nothing to do with fighting (and once again, I guess you felt the need to repeat your tired opinion for the hundredth time). This just added to the pile of nonsense you’ve already been warned about multiple times. Your ban expired and you immediately started acting like Max at a division brawl, sticking to that same old routine of "What did I do now?" and "Who's trolling?". Nobody is forcing you to be here; you’re responsible for your own actions. If you think your special status protects you, you're mistaken—it’s more like being a "protected mascot." Anyone else would have been kicked off the site long ago after dozens of warnings and deleted posts without even getting a formal strike. Right now, you're on a yellow card. One step closer to the permanent ban mentioned in your last warning, where we told you that if you don't shape up after the last ban, the next one will be much longer. If I were in your shoes, I'd try focusing on the topic at hand, follow the rules for starting new threads, stop repeating yourself, and just keep it chill.
Let me clarify what this self-imposed isolation is actually about—you simply refuse to follow basic rules or warnings, whether it’s in my posts or via direct messages. You constantly mess up thread creation by failing to follow the guidelines from the jump, and then you keep dragging things along in poorly formatted threads. It just makes it look like you're intentionally trolling the Off-topic section within your own discussions. Plus, you keep circling back to the exact same topics across multiple threads; honestly, it's exhausting how persistent you are. You've been hit with a custom 75-point infraction for repeatedly ignoring subforum rules, which, combined with your previous points, triggered a ban. I’m losing my patience here, and I'm done playing favorites because you're "clueless but entertaining." Your next break will be longer, and if you keep this up, the one after that will likely be a partial ban if the admin team agrees. Consider yourself warned.
bok Crow, we figured out why you got banned. It turns out you were cloning a permanently banned account, which triggered a ban from another moderator. I won't dive too deep into the history books here, but ever since your remam handle was nuked, everything has just been following that pattern—once you're caught, you get the axe. That said, the policy on clone accounts has loosened up a bit lately, so there might be some middle ground here. Look, we can petition the admins to unban you if you agree to a few things: (1) You’ll post strictly and exclusively under the name Crow89. We all know you cooked up at least three different handles while you were stuck inside during the lockdown. (2) You play by the rules we already established. Honestly, I actually noticed an improvement in your behavior recently that I liked, so aside from those occasional massive walls of text, I don't have any complaints. But here's the kicker—every single one of those extra accounts you opened during the pandemic is on our radar (I can't guarantee other mods won't ban them). When you were posting as "easter," you were being a total troll and just looking for fights. That needs to end immediately, and you need to steer clear of that alter-ego whenever you're posting as Crow. If you’re down to accept these terms—which are basically just the basic forum rules anyway—we can ask the admins to lift the ban on Crow89. If not, I can promise you'll be under a microscope, and we will ruthlessly cut down any clones the second we spot them. Between the technical tools we have and the fact that people will probably recognize you after two or three posts and report you, it's not going to be easy. Personally, I think it’s smarter in the long run to just have one recognizable handle so you can actually talk to people and comment properly. Think about it and let me know what you decide.
Crow, I have no clue why you were banned. I definitely didn't do it, and looking at your infraction count, you've only got 25 points from the admins, which isn't nearly enough to trigger a ban.
Look, being a well-paid gatekeeper isn't exactly a bad gig at his age. It's not like winning this fight puts him at the front of the line for a title shot anyway.
Robert Fox78, I moved your post from the betting thread over here. You’re the only one who seems to struggle with the rules—everyone else sticks to predicting outcomes, yet you’re the only one rambling about everything else. Please, just let the thread stay on track.
Along with the betting thread, we’re launching the official fight discussion here. Expect all the pre-fight chatter, post-fight breakdowns, links, videos, and everything else you need right here.
Just like this, feel free to start your own thread for any officially confirmed fight you're hyped about. You can also set up a side "Betting: Brand X vs Brand Y" thread if you want to get into the numbers.
Look, brisktrucker51, the whole point of moving from general discussions to specialized threads is to actually stick to the topic at hand. The opening post clearly states we should focus on rumors backed by links and fights that might actually happen soon. Ruiz-Wilder is a fight people are already talking about, and I even provided a link for it. As for Wilder-Tyson, that isn't even a rumor yet, let alone imminent—we have zero actual material to back that up. I don't know how you managed to hijack this thread just to drag Tyson, Wilder, and the bridge weight class into the mix again. Feel free to start a new thread about a potential matchup between them, or just head over to the Tyson/Boxing Fan Zone. But within these specific threads, try to stay on track. Otherwise, you're just posting off-topic noise and cluttering things up. No warning here, I'm just asking you to get the point.🙂
In boxing, there are always those matchups fans crave—fights that just make sense—but they either fall through because of bad luck or promoters playing games, leaving us waiting years for a deal that should have happened yesterday.
Let’s stick to the actual rumors we can back up with links, specifically the ones looking likely to happen sooner rather than later.
For instance, everyone is talking about Ruiz-Wilder again. It would be fascinating to see a classic clash between a swarmer and a slugger, especially seeing how they both handle their comeback arcs after those recent losses...
