Side effects... Well, aside from some minor skin dryness and quite intense lip dryness, everything seems fine. And honestly, fixing the lips is easy enough with a little ointment. I didn't even have to convince her to try it. It’s really just one of those things you deal with when you're in a situation like mine, where no amount of external skincare actually makes a dent...
The first time I saw a dermatologist—one who wasn't in private practice—she prescribed such a low dosage that it was inevitable the issue would resurface after a while. But now, it's only been about a month since starting this second round of therapy, which has mostly been around 60mg daily, though that's a standard dose given my body weight. So, I suppose we'll just have to see what the next move is...
Lately, though, the breakouts have been manifesting as folliculitis on the back of my scalp, which then slowly migrates toward the sides of my face—specifically my forehead and the lateral parts of my face. In previous years, it used to be much more concentrated right in the center of my face...
Yes, I always make sure to do that right before heading into my appointment with the dermatologist.
What kind of checkups are you referring to?
You know how these things can drag on until the end of the month, but I’m not losing hope—I’m still fighting the good fight. Right now, it’s just localized to the back of my scalp (folliculitis), so it isn't the worst thing in the world... though the next step involves it spreading to my face... 😲
Greetings from a veteran of this struggle. I’m 24 now, and I’ve been battling these little monsters since I was 16... let's just say my "bloom" arrived a bit later than most...
I’ve tried everything under the sun, and I’ve finally reached the conclusion that external factors have absolutely zero impact on my condition. Maybe it works differently for others, but for me, it’s a closed case. My skin fluctuates from catastrophic to almost decent regardless of what I do...
The only truly successful period I’ve ever had was while I was on Accutane. I know people love to harp on about how dangerous the medication is, but then again, every medicine is essentially a poison, and ninety percent of the junk we consume daily has the same effect...
But my cases are particularly stubborn; I was on Accutane for a stretch of 9 to 12 months, sometimes even hitting 60 mg a day. I finished my course right at the 12-month mark, and yet, here they are again. Since this was actually my second time using Accutane (during the first round, some doctor at a public clinic prescribed a dose meant for children rather than a grown man like myself...), and having spent about three months riding that Accutane high, I find myself wondering what comes next. Nothing, I suppose... I'll head to my private dermatologist for advice and to see if she can help ease the sting on my wallet...
PS. Don't take all this advice to heart, because everyone is different. A cream might work wonders for one person and feel like nothing more than water to another. So, keep researching; I know I certainly will... Fight the power.

They really need to start getting creative with how they come up with these ways to "eliminate" the main characters... 😁 😈
I drink Cola by the gallon and, honestly, I couldn't care less. At least the worms will have a feast when I finally kick the bucket.😬
Trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle these days feels like a losing battle, mostly because everything around us seems tainted—even the stuff labeled as "organic" or "wholesome." So, if we only get one shot at this life, I say we might as well enjoy it by sipping on some Cola...
As for those of you obsessed with living the perfect, healthy life, feel free to keep kidding yourselves; you clearly haven't a clue about the absolute junk you're actually consuming.
A truly remarkable film. It just goes to show how much injustice exists out there—sometimes you feel completely powerless to change a thing. The world really is just teeming with fools and absolute garbage...🙂
