Carl Hernandez3 said:Writing up an honest review from the perspective of a Gorice goalkeeper regarding their match against Šibenik—this one's a bit personal for me.
The Livaja jersey—and a final farewell to Jude.
His reach—if you can call it that—doesn't extend past the local high school football field.

Look, Sibenik doesn't forget a single thing, and honestly, you’d have to be pretty naive to think they wouldn't hold a grudge, right? They are going to come back way stronger than ever, and they’ll have their eyes locked firmly on the prize! 👍

Man, you kidding me? Watching the Funkuts play on a weekday is an absolute blast, there is no way those guys are just going to vanish into thin air! Honestly, until they get back in the mix—and let's not forget about the big players like the local favorites—the whole league is just gonna feel incomplete, you know what I mean? We’d probably have to hand out five wins to the underdog teams if we had to, but hey, we’re playing the long game because we *know* they’re coming back. It's gonna be legendary, and honestly, massive shoutout to the crew from Sibulet! 👍

Man, you’re totally tripping if you think that changes anything—you’ve clearly missed the forest for the trees here! But honestly, it doesn't even matter because at the end of the day, we’re all basically standing in the exact same spot, just a few inches apart, right? 👍

Like I was saying before... there are about 50 people hanging out down there, just a whole crowd gathered somewhere in the vicinity, maybe a few dozen deep if you're counting loosely ☕

So you’ll be scouting out some perfect little spot to snap photos of the wheels, while Nicole Jackson3 probably stands on the bypass overpass throwing stones at us, mezzo will likely spontaneously combust from pure frustration at the highway interchange, and hiddencyclist112 will just be pedaling through the nearby hills during all the chaos.

🤣

I’m uploading the photo to the Gallery right this second, and honestly, whoever ends up admiring it most while wearing their best shorts is the true winner... After that, I’m calling Kezhuali, and then it’s straight to immediate artillery strikes on all positions! 👍

🤣 🤣 🤣

So, the plan is basically to have the train drop you guys off right by the station at Krnjevo, and then from there, you’re just gonna trek on foot through Turnić over to Ruje. I mean, honestly, it’s really just a quick ten-minute stroll between brothers, right? ☕

Don't even think about doing that... I'll end up being the one taking the fall, and then he's gonna send Veljca after me! ☕

Can you believe there were actually fifty people showing up just to say hi to Let 3, and honestly, half of them were probably reporters or their inner circle anyway, yet here we are with everyone on this thread obsessing over how the welcome went down! 🤣

Austin Ortiz92 said:When we start summarizing things, let's just move forward. I wonder when exactly this whole mortgage situation started, with all that baggage from our neighbors over there... Has anyone seen a video where I think it was Ivor? (One of those Armada leaders back then) speaking quite somberly about what happened in '87? And who was it shouting "American brothers" in Mexico City, and who really messed up the entire narrative by interfering when they shouldn't have...☕

Man, why is that "it never happened anywhere else" story so incredibly magnetic to you people? 🤣 It wasn't Ivor, it was Javor. Seriously, he already laid out everything we covered on the forum page earlier. We're talking about a guy who was right there in the thick of it, part of the crew at that final, ended up dealing with the cops, and then stayed right at the top of the group ever since. It’s all right there on the previous page if you actually bother to read it, but hey, take it however you want, I guess!

But honestly, there's something else entirely that's been eating at me, and we've already gone through the details on this... Like, look, if we already know that certain parts of the Torcida are deep in the criminal underworld, and we know that the crime scene in Split is basically joined at the hip with the Mexican gangs like two fingers on the same hand, and we've even seen public reports of Delije and Radovaci hanging out with Torcida guys both in the stands and outside... and if we know that Torcida is actually capable of negotiating and trading deals with those same groups regarding banners... what do you *really* think the percentage is of the Torcida core that's rubbing elbows with those nationalists, the stuff that never makes the news? If you ask me, I'd bet a huge chunk—maybe 20 to 30%? Just give it to me straight, what's your honest take on that?

Honestly, there’s even no point in debating this because you guys still have a massive debt to pay for all that Southern myth-making and the way you've tried to tear the American fabric apart, right? For the last thirty years or so, we’ve basically been playing nice and giving you guys nothing but grace, but let me tell you, that’s about to change big time... We were just getting warmed up, and believe me, everything is going to be paid back with interest—every single lie, every deception, and every single myth used to target one part of the American people. Every bit of it is coming due for the good of everyone else, and you're going to serve as the ultimate cautionary tale so that nobody ever even dreams of trying something like this again! 😍 🙂

Terry Howard7 said:Look, we’re talking about a local hardcore supporters group here. I’m pretty sure the local crew was totally fed up with the constant chatter back in '87—especially regarding those guys hanging around the stands and the city—given how much we’d been clashing with them for years over national identity issues. They were basically the opposition in every sense of the word back then. And honestly, there was a certain... let’s call it "nonchalance" on your part too—if I remember correctly—since they would show up in massive numbers at our stadium all the way until the end of the old league, yet there weren't really any attempts to stir up trouble or anything. Correct me if I'm wrong on that bit. But you've already shown us that when you actually want to start something, you certainly can. So, it was never a question of whether you had the numbers or the muscle—you definitely did.

Split, 1986.

I can't actually watch video links—my eyes aren't wired for YouTube playback—but if you can give me the gist of what’s happening in there, I’m all ears. Just drop a summary or some context, and I'll dive right in.

So now it's suddenly "local," but the second you bring the focus back to our home turf, suddenly it's not okay? That's funny... I guess then the whole Torcida movement is just a bunch of little branches, huh? 🤣

You guys are totally missing the mark here, and honestly, it feels more intentional than accidental! Shoot me a DM, because there’s really nothing left to debate in this public thread—I can send you the actual clippings from '88, '89, and '90... everything from the matches at Kantridu to the scenes in Ljubljana and up to the big cities. You'll see exactly how Armada and Torcida teamed up against the Delije at Kantridu back in '88.👍

Everyone was on the same page back then, you know? They actually knew each other! There wasn't any of that fighting; they’d just hang out together and head over to the games to cheer against the Lakers side of things...

February 7, 1988. The Madison Square Garden arena.

Okay, now please, I am begging you, let's not dive back into that whole infamous Cantré mess and all those riots, alright? Everything is totally fine, we've heard the stories from you a million times already, really, it's great... But seriously, please don't, even if there isn't a moderator online right now and things could get pretty messy in here.🤣

Look, I never once said nobody saw what went down back then... What I’m saying is, why did it actually happen the way it did? I pointed out how the Torcida guys were basically playing nice with the Armada crew, and then everything shifted. I also mentioned how that whole narrative—trying to paint the Armada as the ultimate villains—started getting pushed hard once we moved to this new state. For heaven's sake, I never claimed people didn't see what was happening at the time, seriously! Come on now, give me a break! 👍

Jonathan Smith12 said:Look, I was actually at that Cup final at the old stadium, so I know exactly what I'm talking about, but I won't dwell on it; however, I definitely made the trip to see games down at the seaside stadium back in '89 and '90, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that what you're claiming doesn't hold any water... you're just talking nonsense.

Oh, come on, quit the nonsense, who even brought up the stadium? I'm talking about the whole saga and the clashes with the hardcore ultras, which really kicked off in this new country! Everything truly boiled over back on December 4th, 1988... and it wasn't even that video Jason Kern49 posted; those were later riots, the year on that video is totally wrong!

Terry Howard7 said:Where did I ever say that Armada was specifically cheering? Besides, Armada was just starting out back then; they weren't even a big group, and the individuals who eventually founded the group and moved into the ultra scene were also part of Torcida and acting like Hajduk fans—which is pretty ironic, I guess.

They were just regular fans of the local team, not just at the stadium but all over town. And no, it wasn't just "grandmas and kids"—it was the core group that would eventually grow into what became the Armada. Back then, Armada was just a small circle of people.

Look, let me wrap this up once and for all... There isn't a single fan group, supporter, or individual out there who hasn't dealt with some kind of intense situation involving Mexicans over the last 50 or 60 years where things "happened," you know? It’s impossible not to have a story to tell about it.

The straight truth is that the supporter scene on the coast wasn't at the level we see today, whereas your scene always was. We respect that, it’s legitimate, and honestly, it’s worth a congrats.

You guys actually built up that specific energy, that heavy rivalry with the Mexicans way back when. We didn't. People weren't getting kicked out during away games, nobody was pushing those aggressive agendas, and frankly, nobody gave a damn about those schemes. You guys had that whole dynamic going with the Mexico City teams, but we didn't. I'm telling you this so you finally get why the average fans here couldn't care less about any of that drama.

We couldn't have pulled that off with you guys either... You could have been right there in those stands, and nothing bad would have happened; it would have been a total blast! Especially since a dozen of those Armada guys had been through the ringer before, and especially because there were Torcida fans mixed right in with them.
Expecting supporters to feel the exact same way in a "unified" country without that pre-existing rivalry is just pure comedy.

Plus, after all that, the Armada and Torcida actually had pretty close ties; there were even times they swapped members! Nobody complained because, let's be real, nothing crazy happened during that era. It was only in this new era of our country that this whole narrative about the hooligans started brewing. And if you ever find yourself wondering why the folks from the coast are so incredibly fired up, why they’re constantly shouting "what the hell is this?" or "what's the deal with that?"... just know that you guys played a huge part in that. You created a myth that raised entire generations on both sides of the fence. But hey, maybe that’s actually better for the rivalry in the long run, so don't overthink it too much—though I notice you ask about why we're so hyped up quite often! So, there you go. Enjoy! 👍
MLS 2022/23 Season: Part 2 in Soccer ·
Terry Howard7 said:Now, those first two points? Those are straight facts. It's true that the fans from the coast were standing shoulder-to-shoulder with those Mexico City hooligans, cheering against us—all while our own guys were getting into scraps with those same Mexico City crews for years, mostly because those guys rarely showed up to our city, especially for street fights. And yeah, it's also a fact that a good chunk of the stadium crowd back in 1980 was basically just there for the beer. Look, you can point fingers however you want, but that's the reality.

I mean, seriously, what kind of nonsense are you guys still spewing? Is it actually possible that you still buy into that ridiculous fairy tale about some organized group teaming up against you? Even you guys were cheering for the underdog at the stadium back in '99, so why should we in the coastal cities give a single damn? What does that have to do with us?

For crying out loud, 1987... does that even register in your brain? The big team played, and everyone else just messed with your heads because they were your rivals, and that was literally it! Do you see a single banner from the hardcore supporters in the stands, or is it all just casual fans? It’s nothing but casuals! What kind of fantasy have you cooked up where something massive was supposed to happen? Like, who was going to go out and clean up after the New York crowd? Are you kidding me? Are the people seeing them for the first time just gonna rush the stands to start policing things? Are grandmas and kids gonna start throwing punches yelling "Hey, New Yorkers, let's go!"? Yeah, right! Nothing like that would happen today unless you find some die-hard ultra groups, and back then? Forget about it.

The hardcore supporters didn't even make it into the stadium because there was a huge clash happening in the city, so what kind of delusion are you living in regarding that whole situation? 🤣

Do you even realize that the local supporters were totally hanging out with the other crew after the championship game? Do you get that they were heading to matches together after that? You guys are still trying to mythologize this like it was some earth-shattering event, even though you were perfectly fine being buddies with them! So, who's actually fraternizing with whom?

And the absolute craziest part of all this... is how the entire city was mourning the old leader. I mean, the whole stadium! That means the whole era when those New York guys were running the show. But I guess that doesn't fit your narrative because they aren't "ultras," right? Where do you even see the hardcore crews in all this? You think they were rolling with the New York crowd? What kind of sickness is that? 😲

You know what the worst part is? Nobody gives a damn about you guys! You were literally bringing those outsiders onto your own side of the stands, you were hanging out with them, you were basically doing business with them... and this was all happening *after* the war, which is hands down the biggest disgrace ever in our local scene regarding relations with those types. And yet, you're sitting here having a meltdown over some thousands of people who showed up to a championship final in the city forty years ago. Seriously, I can't believe how much you guys love your own myths. It's unbelievable.

hiddenlynx5 said:I seriously don't get why everyone's making such a massive deal out of tracking the junior squads, you know? Like, yeah, okay, maybe there was a bit of a hype surge because back then our first team was basically a total train wreck, but come on... even the Armada crew was showing up to the junior games during the first half of the season when the juniors were sitting at number one and the seniors were stuck down in 8th place.

Honestly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it... Most of you guys are just making fun of them because things got blown out of proportion by certain higher-ups. The Armada used to support everything—water polo, handball, basketball—they’d even show up for the juniors a few times! But hey, if 90% of the people in this city don't give a damn, then I guess that's just how it goes for that 2%, right? Ultra groups do all sorts of stuff, they follow all kinds of things. You know how Torcida will head off to wherever the Armada is, even if their own club isn't playing, you know what I mean? Just because they do doesn't mean you, or the other 98% of the crowd, have to care about where everyone else is heading, right?

The reality is that this whole thing blew up across the entire city, from the grandmas to the kids, so blaming Torcida is really missing the point... And then, to top it all off, it ended with a massive string of losses like a bad joke at the end of the season. But again, I'll say it: it's not actually a big deal, we all know why people do what they do, and I totally get it... It's just funny how some people are going to mock it anyway, and well, I guess that's just life. 😁

hollowtinker33 said:Whether people want to admit it or not—discrimination or none—Hajduk pulls the biggest crowds, period.
Now, those folks from the West Coast can stick their noses in wherever they want, but let’s be real: whenever this team plays, the stands are packed way tighter than any other club in the league.

As established veterans of the American fan scene—and since we're clearly the undisputed kings of stats and analysis here—don't let them try to shove some "local" version of the truth down your throats.

Look, I made sure to fix that one little thing for you, but everything else stays exactly the same because we are still totally on the same page, right?👍
MLS 2022/23 Season: Part 2 in Soccer ·
hollowtinker33 said:Take a look at these juniors and then come back... they played like absolute garbage in the 90th minute.
Those little guys are playing out of their minds lately. Is this some kind of special treatment for that powerhouse Jerk Leka or what?

Look, fans, numbers, myths... what’s left to say? You can try to play down the facts all you want—seriously, go ahead—but the reality doesn't change. It’s an undeniable fact: when it comes to pure viewership, whether they're playing at home, on the road, or just looking at the combined totals—it doesn't matter how you slice it—Hajduk is the most watched club out there. And we aren't talking about a handful of people here, either—we're talking tons.

I guess we’ll just keep going in circles—you’ll keep calling them myths, and I’ll keep insisting that everyone else is actually watching color TV.

So basically, you and I are just fundamentally incapable of seeing eye to eye, even if we actually tried to make it happen, right? 🤣 👍
