Those guys could honestly just shut down the ticket booths at this point; they’ve been acting like this for a couple of seasons now. It really feels like you have to get your tickets sorted way ahead of time if you want to actually make it in...
That’s true, but we just can't seem to get on the same page. For games like this, there needs to be a unified front in the media, plain and simple.
Both sides carry some blame here. One side is basically doing their own thing, while the other is so stubborn about avoiding the press that you start to wonder if we're actually working against our own interests. There’s really only one way out: an official statement, a press release, anything at this point. We need to spark some excitement and get the stands packed this Sunday, and that’s exactly what we need right now.
Everything is fine and nobody said anything wrong—honestly, quite the opposite—but we really need to sit down and reach some kind of agreement on a few things. If we keep going like this, it’s just not sustainable; frankly, people are starting to get pretty fed up.
That’s just nonsense; from what I understand, the guys already took care of that right after the game ended... ...it feels like some people are just desperately fishing for distractions to bury everything before Sunday rolls around...
Everyone mentioned above is missing the point, but honestly, that’s exactly why you need to show up to the games—especially when things are at their absolute worst, through all the heartbreak and the unfairness and the pain...
bluejackal43 said:What if instead of just holding a protest, we all headed down to Indianapolis together a day early, like on the 16th? We could all line up there, dressed in black, of course. Maybe the local football fans could carry that massive flag from the paramilitary organization and just offer ourselves up to the command center... Just imagine it... Evening rolls around, and you see a group of young people marching in perfect formation, five deep, singing those old patriotic anthems, carrying that huge paramilitary organization flag... If someone with actual sense coordinated with the leadership, they might actually see what needs to be done... I honestly think that would make a much bigger impact than some random protest demanding a general mobilization for basically nothing...
That sounds great in theory, but you forgot one tiny detail: we’d all have to march in formation coming from the direction of Indianapolis, with armored vehicles and tanks leading the way right in front of us... good grief...
Look, whether you respect someone or not is one thing, but deciding to show up—whether it’s for the local matches, the big individual games, or even the Champions League—that’s entirely on the individual. It's their call if they want to be there or not. Honestly, if everyone just focused on themselves and their own actions instead of worrying about what others are doing, things would start looking a lot better for everyone pretty quickly...
EVERYONE GET TO THE STADIUM!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tlxkFYQyyU
In a perfect world, you'd see both sides represented, but during times like this, those who are actually making the biggest sacrifices are the ones showing up. You can't really blame anyone else for staying behind; at the end of the day, it’s their choice and their right to make. It’s obvious that the more people we have, the easier this becomes for everyone involved...
Today, everyone who is able should head over to the East...
...Pero and Kvrga, you guys should get down here too...
