No, just buy a new one.

Got an 860 EVO 500GB for $83 including shipping.
Adam Williams2 said:Honestly, you can't get anything done online. It’s just zero preparation and zero execution on their part. You could browse their sale in the morning, pick out whatever you want, and expect it to arrive in a few days, but there's no way that's happening. 🙄

Isn't that basically how it works with an Amazon gift card?
If that actually happens, I think the people working at Walmart will be the ones picking it up.
Peter Green said:I'm looking at these Black Friday deals here in the States. Where prices actually drop, they barely go down by even 10%. Most of what's on sale is just old stock nobody wants anyway. I've seen "discounts" where the original price is crossed out, but the fake price is actually way higher than what it should be. Honestly, it's pathetic.

We're always ten to twenty years behind on everything, including these sales.

They will, but not for another few months.
Did anyone make it out to the Happy Day event at Link's?

It's happening on February 10th in Cleveland, though I know they've already held one somewhere else.

What do you guys think about this Asus G1504 card? For the price, including tax, it's roughly$467. Is there anything better available in the States for that amount? Basically, what category does it fall into? I know it's an off-brand card, but can we figure anything out from the specs.
Thanks.

Don't buy those off-brand knockoffs. You can get a GTX 1050 Ti for the same money here.

Timothy Kim60 said:Check out the European Amazons (like the UK, French, German, or Spanish versions), or those big German shops that ship to the US (like Computeruniverse, or maybe one of those two—Caseking or Mindfactory).

Caseking ships internationally, but Mindfactory only ships within Germany.
Is it easy to swap crypto for dollars?
Timothy Kim60 said:Why eBay specifically?

If you're counting on prices going up, you might want to hold off, though I doubt there's much profit in it.

I also don't see the point in buying Veggie 56. Especially if their prices spike too.

Where else am I supposed to sell it?
Do you think it makes sense to sell my RX 580 4GB Nitro+ that I just bought last month?
I'm thinking about listing it on eBay, though I'm not sure what their commission looks like. Prices are skyrocketing lately, so I might be able to pick up a Vega 56 in a month or so.
Christian Miller48 said:Thanks for the input, everyone. I'm really leaning toward that Samsung model, even though I don't usually track prices. Do you think we can expect any big sales right before or during Christmas at US retailers?

Sure, you can probably find a discount of about $6.75.

Is this one any better?

No, it doesn't have a graphics card.

$167

https://www.amazon.com/black-friday/...-mhz-ddr4.html

The retailer lists a 2-year warranty, but both the box and the manufacturer's site claim a limited lifetime warranty. It seems to depend on where you buy it.
Does that mean I only get 2 years of coverage, or does the manufacturer take over the warranty after those first two years pass?
Timothy Kim60 said:Black Widow - $128. If I hadn't already sorted out a new case, I'd definitely grab this one.

Thanks, just ordered it.

That's not what you get for a graphics card at that price anymore. Besides, I ordered my card by paying them directly.

Including shipping and tax, we're looking at $300. That's a solid price given how expensive everything is right now. The card should be back in stock on December 8th.

Check this one out too. The specs are great, and it's a really good case for the price. I’d grab it myself if it weren't still a bit too big for my setup: https://www.caseking.de/bitfenix-aeg...-gebf-165.html

Is there a way to pay them directly without having a foreign currency account?
I picked the prepayment option instead of PayPal, but when I got home, the PayPal price had already changed.
