Crispy Pops in Miscellaneous ·
I gave them a shot, just like I try everything else! 😁 I ended up making half of them in the microwave thinking it would be healthier by avoiding all that heavy oil, but they turned out so tough and tasteless—honestly, they were basically like chewing on a piece of gum. Then I fried the other half in oil because I figured the microwave was the problem, but nope, they were still totally flavorless.
I am definitely never buying these again, and I certainly wouldn't dream of getting them for my kids. For what you're paying, you could just grab some high-quality chicken breast fillets instead; and even though we all know factory farming can be a mess, at least with real meat, I feel like I'm eating premium cuts rather than just whatever mystery scraps someone mentioned earlier.

To be honest, I feel like this stuff is just glorified pâté or deli meat, just shaped differently. Sure, nobody's actually dying from eating it, but I remember only having deli meat maybe once a month when I was a little kid (and even less often now!).

I honestly think this is such a great movie! There's just something about how love always finds a way to win in the end. 😍
Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
I’m currently on day seven of my period, and honestly, things are just feeling totally different this time because the flow is incredibly heavy and these abdominal cramps are absolutely kicking my butt! Usually, I’m done after about three days once the color shifts, but today it’s still bright red and I’m getting these sharp, nagging pains right in my lower belly.

Does anyone know what actually happens if I head into the OB-GYN, since most clinics here won't even perform an exam while you're actively bleeding? I might be totally overreacting, but I really don't want to sit around and hope for the best if there's some kind of infection or underlying issue that could spiral out of control. 😢
First Communion... what should I get the kids? in Miscellaneous ·
It really all comes down to how close you are to them, whether they're family or just a good friend! If you want to go classic, a nice tie is always a winner—my nephew was actually eyeing one out recently—but you could also grab a high-end gaming mouse or a sleek keyboard if they're into tech, maybe some cool sneakers, or even a remote-controlled drone if they're feeling adventurous. It honestly just depends on what that kid is obsessed with right now! 🤷
