Don't worry, though—we'll probably get cockpit footage from Max soon showing him just cranking the wheel to the right.

And then, just a few laps later, you've got four sudden swerves on the straightaway after the Senna curve. Check it out at 3:50.

Imagine if every single driver on the starting grid defended their position with four zig-zagging maneuvers. I honestly find it hard to believe people are actually justifying this and calling it "elite defending."
🙏

It’s something like this:

I have a feeling things are going to get pretty intense right up until the finish line.

Just think about Yas Marina and that hotel that looks like a glowing, color-changing kite.

Hopefully, cosmicridge5 is getting a kick out of this too.

It’s all over, folks. Total game over.

#F1: Per reports from Motorsport US, Lewis Hamilton’s 5th PU—while technically following homologation rules—is tuned to push certain parameters, like combustion chamber pressure, to the absolute limit, meaning it only has enough life for four GPs. Apparently, Hywel Thomas, the chief engineer at Brixworth, has prepped a 5th engine for Lewis designed to last only 1.6 miles compared to the usual 7,000-mile standard for a typical power unit. Since they can't legally swap out the approved hardware, the Mercedes engineers played around with the management strategies instead. By cranking up the turbo and messing with the combustion pressure, they’ve created a setup that could potentially squeeze out an extra 15 horsepower—perfect for grabbing pole or pulling off a pass.

So, we're looking at maybe +15 hp over the standard build. Teams always keep these kinds of tricks up their sleeves for whenever they need a Hail Mary at the end of a season.

Against this, RB doesn't stand a chance—assuming what they're saying about Honda is actually the truth.

An absolute monster.

It’s truly remarkable how much he was able to keep them at bay before; once you get onto a track like this, there’s nowhere left to hide.

I can't say I'm feeling particularly optimistic about it.

But you just posted that now? That was already valid yesterday—you're lagging behind!
He’s going to dedicate this win to Senna.😁

I haven't the slightest clue.
Rebecca is going to be out there waving the flag.😁

Things are looking pretty grim for Red Bull as they head into their upcoming stretch of races across the Middle East.

Yeah,
And we still haven't even settled the whole debate regarding the fastest lap, regardless of how you look at it.
Just as I thought.

Now he’s just asking for trouble—really, Valtteri, isn't that just typical?😁

That’s nothing more than a pipe dream.
Elizabeth Mendoza said:At that moment, Lewis Hamilton was basically cruising toward a win.

Yeah,
It’s exactly what we all anticipated—Lewis is absolutely flying out there.

By the way, I have a feeling if Lewis gets too close to Max, things are going to get heated. Max isn't just going to let him pass without a fight.

53.5
It’s absolutely pouring down here at the Rose Bowl, soaking everything in sight.

If Lewis Hamilton can just make it through that first corner without losing control, I honestly think he’s taking the win home today.
