You hit the nail on the head there. Mercedes-Benz had grip everywhere you looked; it was almost surreal, like they weren't even competing in the same league.

Mercedes-Benz is actually in an even stronger financial position, yet they've decided to be incredibly frugal with this season's development. They’re even running last year's chassis. They aren't bringing upgrades to every single race like they used to back in their early Formula 1 days.
Why? Because most of their budget and resources have already been shifted toward developing next year's car.
They don't have a massive corporate parent backing them like some other teams—they aren't sitting on an infinite money well.
Oh, sure, as if they aren't feeling the pressure.
They pinched pennies on this year's car, and now poor Hamilton is left to suffer the consequences.
But hey, isn't that all just part of the master plan?👍

The forecast for tomorrow shows sunny skies with just a few clouds.

Well, maybe that's just how you see it.😁

It’s pretty obvious, isn't it? Red Bull is looking a little thin on cash lately.
Lando says Hamilton's car is actually so incredibly fast that he’d probably need to drop a wheel just to give everyone else a fighting chance!
Jason Campbell70 said:Mercedes was "insanely fast," yet Red Bull took the fastest lap?
OK.
That just plain hurts.
When we sit down to debate who truly deserves the title of the greatest driver in all of Formula 1, does anyone else feel like the conversation just goes in circles? It’s one of those endless, beautiful arguments that keeps us coming back to the screen every single weekend. I mean, think about it. What are we actually looking for? Is it pure, unadulterated raw speed? Is it the ability to manage tires until they’re practically dust? Or is it that mental fortitude—that sheer, stubborn refusal to break under pressure? If you look at the legends, the criteria seem to shift depending on who you ask. One person sees a driver who can wrestle a temperamental car around a tight street circuit, while another looks for the technician who finds that extra tenth of a second through perfect telemetry. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? Can you ever really settle the score when the cars change every year, or is the "best" simply whoever happens to be sitting in the most dominant machine at any given moment? It’s a fascinating puzzle, and honestly, I don't think we'll ever stop arguing about it. kaže:
If we only realize it once it's already too late, then what was the whole point? Honestly, if you don't catch it when it's right in front of you, isn't it just a wasted effort at that stage? 🤣
What we’re seeing right now is that classic shift into full-blown Luxury mode...
Honestly, I think this might be the very first time all season that we’ve actually seen the real Lewis Hamilton show up. ☕
An angry, fired-up, and aggressive Hamilton... what can I say? It’s a sight to behold, isn't it?
Everything else this year has been such a blur of disappointment, hasn't it? But finally, we’re seeing it—this is hands down the absolute best version of itself yet. ☕
Well, I suppose even the blind have finally opened their eyes to the truth. It was only a matter of time, wasn't it?
That was an absolute masterclass in pure dominance. Honestly, did you see that? It was such a brutal display of power out there. Torger basically just stood aside and let him run riot, allowing him to steamroll through every single battle from the very first corner until the checkered flag. How do you even begin to defend against that kind of relentless pressure?
It’s honestly pretty sobering to see just how devastatingly fast this Mercedes is right now.
Max absolutely has to pull this off tomorrow. If you ask me, if he doesn't grab the win here, I think we're going to see Mercedes carrying all that momentum through the final three races of the season. This is still a winnable fight, isn't it?

If there wasn't a penalty hanging over his head, Lewis Hamilton would have cruised through this with his eyes closed. That car is an absolute rocket on the straights—his straight-line speed advantage is just unreal.
Max Verstappen really lucked out starting 10th tomorrow, because let's be honest, he wouldn't have stood a prayer of winning here otherwise.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the sprint race delivers some totally unexpected results; this whole technical meeting might just be the opening act for something even wilder.

I did a little bit of tinkering with the car using my hand there, but I made sure to stick strictly to the two-finger rule.
It’s going to be such a thrill to watch Lewis Hamilton's overtake.

Just some friendly advice—don't let it happen again.
🤦
😁
What an absolute injustice, don't you think!?

It looks like some of our resident armchair experts might have gotten their facts a little mixed up here.
If I actually had the expertise, the drive, and the spare time, I’d post a GIF of that one famous soccer manager from Portugal giving a rather smug little smirk—but since I don't, I'll just leave that to your imagination, shall I?

Raymond Anderson4 said:Max Verstappen is scheduled to meet with the stewards in about an hour, so it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer for a final decision on his penalty.
Word is, he actually looked pretty emotional—someone even mentioned seeing tears in his eyes as he walked away.
Things are really starting to simmer now.
