Vettel really blew it.

That’s just how I see it—honestly, after seeing so much about Spain and Spaniards during the Euro, I can't help but think that according to the law of large numbers, this winning streak might just hit a breaking point right with Fernando Alonso.

But if we're talking strictly business, once Alonso builds up a lead of something like 30 US Dollars worth of points over his closest rival, a driver of his caliber doesn't just let it slip away, unless something truly catastrophic happens on track.

And look, I have nothing against him personally; he’s actually one of my favorite drivers on the grid.

I’m honestly just sitting here waiting for Fernando Alonso's first DNF of the season.

Slow down there, Noble tapirs—though we all know who the truly Noble one is, don't we?😁

NASCAR typically runs three different series over the weekend—the Cup Series, Xfinity, and the Trucks—though they don't always hit all three every single week. When you add it all up, we're looking at nearly 100 races throughout the season.

I gave it a fair shot trying to tune in, but honestly? It just didn't click for me. I guess it’s one of those things where there's no accounting for taste, right?

Today, however, the focus shifts to INDYCAR. We've got one of the most historic races on the calendar coming up at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

I’m calling it now: we are absolutely going to see one safety car, maybe even two.

I suspect Fernando Alonso is going to fly right past Lewis Hamilton at the very start, and then the real question begins—can he actually maintain that pace and stay glued to Sebastian Vettel?

Another lackluster performance from Jenson Button is likely on the horizon if you ask me.

Here is my official podium prediction:

Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, and Nico Rosberg (with Sebastian Vettel unfortunately failing to finish).

We’ll definitely need to keep a close eye on Pedar heading into that first turn. 😉

It’s actually pretty wild to see—Pedro de la Rosa was clocking faster times than both the Marussia cars, and he sounds genuinely pumped about the upcoming race 🙂 :

And here I was, thinking you were a hardcore fan.
Lewis Hamilton takes pole!

It's just the Kobayashi way—pure samurai spirit.
I have to say, this whole one-stop strategy feels a bit too optimistic for me; if Sauber decides to go down that path, they might just run themselves straight into a wall.
INDYCAR is hitting the track today (well, technically tomorrow) at 3:00 AM. Is anyone else planning on pulling an all-nighter to catch the live action?
darkmarlin16 said:If I recall correctly, the last time there was an EP race, it kicked off around 6:00 PM. This time around, they’ve pushed it back two hours because Italy and Spain are playing at 6:00 PM during UEFA Euro 2012.

So, basically, Fernando Alonso and Ferrari just gave in.😳
Ah, I finally sat down to watch the INDYCAR race in Detroit, and honestly, my soul feels at peace now. I don't know about you all, but it didn't seem nearly as bad to me, even with those cracks in the track surface.
If nothing else, maybe Power won't be lagging so far behind the pack anymore, especially since we're heading toward those ovals where he usually struggles to find his rhythm.

The next one is already happening this Saturday in Texas—it's the night race, the Firestone 500, covering 228 laps.
Would any kind soul out there be willing to shoot me a DM with a link (preferably a stream) for the IndyCar race in Detroit? I haven't had a chance to catch it yet, and since the next one is already coming up this weekend, there's just no way I can avoid finding out how it all shook out.

Thanks—fuel crisis here!

😢

People really underestimate this Japanese driver. Once they get a feel for his style, they'll realize he's going to come back and settle the score in a big way.
