I actually ran into a nearly identical issue myself—just endless loading screens or having to force the window closed just to get it to respond. Turns out, tweaking my Adblock settings (or even just doing a clean reinstall) fixed everything for me! It seems to be a lifesaver for a few other folks out there, too.
That’s aside from Saturday night, though, when the whole forum was basically a total disaster zone...
Anyway, if you haven't tried messing with your adblocker yet, it might be worth a shot!

The end result would be that they’d just strip them of their moderator roles and hunt for someone else—someone foolish enough to take on the job for free under these exact same conditions.
