Honestly, I don't see the problem at all! It’s really just a matter of rounding up 32 players who actually want to get in on the action and participate actively.

When we're looking at the semifinals and the finals, we could easily throw in other stats beyond just the scoreline—things like total cards, red cards, corner counts, or even possession margins. If we did it that way, we'd end up with four players practically tied for the "final," which totally ruins the whole point of having a real showdown between just two people!
