It’s kind of wild that nobody has brought up Tarkovsky's Mirror yet.

What movies would you love to see on TV?

About a year ago, I actually reached out to PBS, and they told me they were looking into acquiring the rights to some Andrei Tarkovsky films... 😈
So, what I’m really thinking is that I’d love to see them run a Canadian cinema series—maybe something featuring the works of Francis Ford Coppola...
But honestly, that's probably just wishful thinking on my part...
We have to give credit where it's due, though; PBS is actually pretty solid when it comes to these director retrospectives. They’ve done runs of Eric Rohmer, Jean-Luc Godard, and Pedro Almodóvar in the past, and even now, they still host those director cycles every Saturday... 😛

I went with the "everyone sucks" option because, honestly, they really do...
Man, it’s a shame we don't have someone like Makavejev over in our neck of the woods, even if we're just looking at what our neighbors have going on...

It would definitely be Maya Deren, specifically her masterpiece *Meshes of the Afternoon*.
