Where can I buy The Godfather trilogy? in Movies ·
So, I've checked basically every major retailer in New York City, but nothing. They all say they'll stock it if it's available, but then it's gone.

I found it on Amazon, but there's no mention of whether it includes American subtitles.

Does anyone know any US store or online shop that carries this with American subtitles? Any leads would be great. Thanks.
How many MP3-cs do you have on your PC? in Software ·
I’m hovering somewhere between 1 and 5 GB. Most of my music is still on CDs, so I just collect new tracks on the drive until I hit about 700 MB, then burn a new one. The rest? It fluctuates—maybe 2 or 3 GB—of older stuff I rotate through every ten days or so. I’ve got about 25 full CDs all cataloged. Once I get bored of what’s currently playing, I just pull up WhereIsIt, find some fresh tracks, wipe the old ones, and call it a day.
Best tool for bulk renaming files? in Software ·
If you ask me, the best software for this kind of thing is Bill Gates
Serotonin imbalance issues in Health ·
Serotonin acts as a vasoconstrictor. It's also found in the intestinal lining where it stimulates peristalsis, and in the CNS, where it functions as a neurotransmitter at specific synapses.

Since serotonin comes from breaking down tryptophan, could we be looking at a tryptophan metabolism issue?
SETI and other nonsense... in Software ·
What exactly does SETI actually do? Please don't just throw links at me. If anyone knows, can you just give me a quick rundown? Thanks.
Yeah, I did it first thing that morning... 🙂
Look, it really was a crisis. A total meltdown. When things get that high-stakes and stressful, and the solution is staring you right in the face but you just can't see it... what do you do? You ask who was sitting at the computer. Then you ask them for the password. Simple, right? Took me all night to even realize that... 🙂
Thanks, everyone. I finally managed to track down the password. Still, good to know for next time... 🙂
What does "lost" actually mean here? Are they gone for good, or will there be some kind of default value? And is it even going to work with the timer?
Carol Harris64 said:That sounds like your Boot-up password—the one set right in the BIOS under Security settings.
If you REALLY forgot it, maybe just try every single password you've ever used. 😉
Honestly, though? Something tells me that isn't it. 😁

There are ways to reset it, but that’s basically hacking territory. I don't support that, and we shouldn't be advertising it on this forum anyway. 🙂

No, the PC is mine. It just looks like someone was messing around with it...
Anyway, how do you reset it? And what happens if I do?
I'm pretty sure it's not the other two components, so it’s likely just a BIOS issue.
What happens if I pull the battery? Where even is it located, and what kind of damage am I looking at—software or hardware? Or should I just take this over to Best Buy? Thanks
Jason Morgan2 said:Dear Robin Lee3, the computer is already "on" once you hit the power button. It doesn't need a second startup. Are you saying you forgot the password, or just that you don't know how to access the BIOS Setup? Try moving the drive to another machine. See what happens then.

Look, I know it's on. I'm just struggling to explain it better. It’s not that I know the password and forgot it—I have no idea what it is. But here's what's actually happening.
Basically: I turn the PC on, and it starts loading. It gets to that screen where it tells me I can hit Del for BIOS or F8 for boot options, but then the very next thing it does is ask for a password and just stops loading. I get three tries before I have to hard reset the whole thing.
How do I get past this without the password?
Is there any way to boot up a computer that has a password right away? I can't even get into the BIOS. What about resetting the hard drive? Would I lose all my data if I did that? Is there anything else that can be reset instead?
Dirty Dancing. Classic. You ever seen it? It’s just one of those movies that stays with you. Simple story, but it works. Why does it still hold up so well after all these years? Maybe it's the nostalgia. Or maybe it's just a great movie. Regardless, it's worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
Mambo Kings.
The Moulin Rouge. Iconic. You ever wonder if it actually lives up to the hype? Or is it just all glitter and smoke?
