Hey there!

First off, sorry I can't upload the full thyroid panel right here.

I’m actually asking for a buddy of mine—he's a 21-year-old guy—and he’s trying to figure out his next move. He's wondering if anyone can give him a heads-up on what to expect, since his TSH came back at 7.19, even though his T4 levels are sitting right within the normal range.

Thanks in advance!

Some Like It Hot

That scene where Merlinka is singing while sitting at the piano

👍 I absolutely love it. Bravo!

I can't even begin to wrap my head around this—just total nonsense. Pure gibberish. It’s like someone took a handful of random syllables, tossed them into a blender, and called it a conversation. Honestly? It’s just noise. Nothing to work with here. Zero. Zilch. Total emptiness. kaže:
But what if the song shows up in more than one movie?

Let's talk about "Putting out The Fire" by Bowie.

The older generation calls them "Cat people," while the younger crowd just goes with "Inglourious Basterds."

That’s exactly what both Sam and I were thinking. Honestly, the OP will probably just end up saying something like, "Well, technically you're right, but that wasn't the answer I was looking for..." 😕 haha, I'm basically channeling my inner Oliver Mlakar.

Yeah, it's an older flick, but I'm positive you guys know it. It's from Merlinka—come on, let me make it easy for you... (that's easily my favorite scene with her). If you still haven't a clue, fine, I'll spill it, but I'll wait just a little longer to see if anyone actually gets it.

And you guys skipped right over mine too 🤷

Alright folks, here’s one of my absolute all-time favorites...

I'm Through with Love
I'll never fall again
Said adieu to love
Don't ever call again
For I must love you or no one
And so I'm through with love

I've locked my heart
I'll keep my feelings there
I've stocked my heart
with icy, frigid air
And I Mean to Care for No One
Because I'm through with love

Look, let's just agree that the artist is Kevin Spacey so we can all move on and be at peace here. 😁
Honestly, I'm not even totally sure about the performer myself—I actually remember pausing the movie specifically to check who was singing because I knew it wasn't Kravitz. Anyway, it's my turn now... hm... let me think for a second...

No, no—it’s actually Kevin Spacey driving around in the car singing out loud during *American Beauty*. And yeah, I know it isn't Kravitz—I remember watching the movie and thinking, "Wait, who is singing this? This definitely isn't Kravitz," so I ended up Googling it, and turns out the artist is Krokus.

Oh, thanks! I guess I just totally misfired in my head—I was picturing a completely different scene, haha. Man, now I realize I’m actually thinking of some random 15th movie... yeah, I definitely haven't been getting enough sleep lately. 😁Anyway, can someone please solve that puzzle above? I have absolutely no clue where it came from.

William Price66, you didn't catch any attitude from me, did you? I’m just asking—I was trying to pin down that specific scene you called out because it feels incredibly familiar, but the memory is just slipping through my fingers. I know I've seen it, I swear, I just can't quite put my finger on which movie it was.

The scene? Ha, now it sounds like I'm chasing you down over some rulebook 😁—no, seriously, I'm asking about the scene because it feels so incredibly familiar and I just can't put my finger on it

Ugh. I think Selmica is probably doing some kind of striptease or something like that.
Matthew Anderson4 with the flies...

Well, bravo, bravo—you're practically missing the performer, but hey, I'll let it slide... Marshall & Tarantula. If I can just throw in one little fact about that scene that actually interests me—Selma was supposed to be undergoing hypnosis or some kind of psychotherapy because she’s deathly afraid of snakes. If that's the case, then seriously, props to her!

Gogooooo, you stole my turn!! It’s my shot since I was the one who guessed right—honestly, are you even reading the rules? 😠 Haha, fine, but I'm throwing out a super easy one so you guys can solve it fast and we can move along: Watching Her Strolling in the Night
Watching Her Strolling in the Night
So white
Wondering why
It's only after dark

In her eyes
A distant fire light
burns bright
Wondering why
It's only after dark

I find myself in her room
Feel the fever of my doom
Falling falling
Through the floor
I'm knocking on the Devil's door

And Then a Kiss

But Most of All When Snowflakes Fall
But Most of All When Snowflakes Fall
And Then a Kiss

First off, I gotta say—you guys totally made my day with this game, seriously, thanks a ton!
As for the answer... I think it’s this: the song is "And Then a Kiss"—it’s a Sinatra classic, but in the movie, it isn't him singing, it's some woman whose name escapes me right now (and honestly, I'm not even going to Google it just to keep things interesting), the movie is Prime and the scene is right at the end SPOILER when he sees her again in the cafe after heading back to grab his hat—if I remember correctly—she spots him at the door, gives him a little smile, and that's it, they both just go their separate ways; she stays in the cafe with her group (if I can add one thing—to me, that's one of those rare, actually good endings in movies like this). Am I spot on, or am I totally off?

Man, I’m totally stuck on what to put in that 5th spot, you know? There are just so many solid movies out there, it's driving me crazy trying to pick just one... Shutter Island, Mystic River, Se7en, Prisoners... there's a whole bunch more, honestly!

🤣 Wait, I just realized we have three movies in common! And you won't believe this, but I swear I was torn between Dirty Dancing and Love Actually too!!👍
So, look—I’m not saying this is my definitive "top 5 greatest movies of all time" list or anything—it's more like those reliable, go-to films you just want to have sitting on your shelf at home, you know? The kind of stuff you can rewatch whenever and most people will actually agree they're decent.

Alright, I’m heading out to go dig up some mud monsters—they’re gonna love this mess! Anyway, quick question for the group: does anyone know if I'll run into trouble if I just show up tomorrow and try to buy a camping-only pass? Like, is there actually going to be space left? 🤔 I already have my ticket, but I’m such an idiot—completely forgot about the camping part.
driftingcanyon67 said:And here's another thing—if my memory isn't totally failing me—last year the disclaimer about camera gear basically said "no professional equipment allowed," but this year they've changed it to say "audio and visual recording equipment is prohibited unless you have prior permission from the organizers." So... what does that actually mean? Like, can I still snap some photos on my phone or a basic camera, or are we talking total blackout? 😳

Wait, seriously? Not even a quick photo? 😕
Mark Cox15 said:I mean, I don't get why everyone is tripping over the lineup timing. Sure—I'd love to catch both Massive Attack and Billy too—but if you actually sit down and look at the genres, Flogging Molly and Massive Attack aren't even in the same universe musically. Same goes for Billy and Pendulum. It’s not that weird when you break it down.

You've got a point there... honestly, I was thinking the same thing when I saw Billy and Pendulum paired up. If you're being realistic, you can't expect a huge chunk of the American Idol crowd to be into Pendulum. They're just different vibes. But hey, whatever—we're all gonna have a blast regardless!!! 🙂
Maria Collins said:And then—get this—they actually scheduled Billy Idol and Pendulum at the exact same time. Seriously?
Honestly, it’s enough to drive anyone absolutely insane.

Same exact reaction over here—honestly, I'm feeling it too. 😢😢
