Blue Cross Blue Shield covers the basics—lenses, frames, all that—and you won't have to deal with a copay if you've got supplemental coverage.
That said, the coverage amount is pretty meager. We're talking maybe $100$67 depending on which lenses you pick. If you actually want something decent, most big-box retailers let you apply that credit toward better frames or higher-end contact lenses to cover the difference.
I'm not entirely sure if I’m hitting the mark with this topic—pardon me if the question comes off as a bit trivial—but I was wondering if supplemental insurance actually covers things like glasses, frames, or lenses? Or does it perhaps just cover a fraction of the total cost? I’m currently a student, so my coverage is through the university...
I was actually wondering lately what it would be like if Massive Attack came back, and here we are. I'm looking forward to it! (Well, just them, for now)
Yeah, true. It’s that kind of afternoon music—perfect for a mid-tier festival.
And what about Broken Social Scene, Emily Haines, or even nothing at all?
Kenneth Rodriguez58 said:Man, I am honestly exhausted by reading all these comments along the lines of "bring out Ratt or Muse, otherwise I'm not coming." Like, do you actually think anyone cares? Look, those bands are fine—I don't listen to them myself—but there are so many incredible acts out there that nobody even bothers to complain about. Plus, I don't see why people feel the need to post this here. Was any of those bands even on the wish list posted in this group? I wouldn't bet on it.. ☕
Amy Macdonald. Her new album is going to be huge. Just wait.
Dennis Sullivan46 said:Hehe... I'm mostly hoping for a killer fight between Nina and Anna, though looking at this picture below, it feels like they swapped roles. Nina looks more like a femme fatale (like Anna in the Tekken games), while Anna seems to have that strong, stoic personality (more like Nina in the Tekken games). Also, it looks like Anna is taller than Nina—maybe she's just wearing massive heels—which makes them look more like lesbian rivals rather than sisters fighting.😁
At least they ditched those weird animals and the ridiculous forest setting; if they hadn't, this movie would've been a total disaster. It seems like Marduk, Paul, and Lea were supposed to be in it initially but got cut.
And Gon was a legend too, don't go hating on him. ;D But yeah, they definitely need to dial up the seriousness a bit.
Paul was such a badass, though. I still remember his most iconic move where he'd blast an opponent away with a punch, sprint after them, and just flatten them.
Man, this is going to be one of the greatest movies ever made. ;D
Anger Management is actually a pretty decent little comedy... I always loved that scene where they’re in the car singing that song from West Side Story. It's good.
It’s the exact same vibe you get with Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents.
I mean, I don't know. If they told you it feels like acid in your throat, they should probably be smart enough to tell you how to fix it. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue. You really need someone speaking from actual experience here. I have no idea how "acid in the throat" even works—personally, I’d assume it’s coming up from the stomach and needs medical attention, but hey, I won't play doctor.🙂
I honestly don't think it's a symptom of anything serious, but you might want to try identifying which specific foods trigger that heartburn. Maybe grab some Tums or just mix some baking soda with water.
Kyle Jackson54 said:It isn’t an issue when they play music on MTV; the issue is when you start acting like an MTV star. That excessive interaction with the crowd, demanding they sing along to songs that feel so intimate when you listen to them at home... I don't know. Up until I saw Bon Iver live, I thought the guy who called them pretentious garbage was totally wrong. But honestly, since August (Coachella), I haven't really listened to much Bon Iver, and I probably won't. At least, not with the same intensity as before.
The biggest poser out there, if we're being honest. I'll separate that from the music, which is actually great, but I’d still go see him in concert.

I can almost sense the intelligence in a performer who seems so arrogantly indie dull that he only cares about how his little ideas land with some random wanderer in Wisconsin... which, apparently, is just incredibly cool. 🙄
Arrogantly indie dull? What does that even mean? Boring music is just boring music. Period.
This whole obsession with hating on MTV is kind of ridiculous. Just because someone makes something specifically for them doesn't mean it’s automatically garbage. Although, let's be honest, it usually is. Maybe if they tried harder, the average MTV viewer might actually start listening to decent music for once. ;D
Not many people seem to be listening to it. Maybe it's because his vocals can be a bit grating at times—I'll admit, I felt the same way when I first heard him. But perhaps that's for the best. At least he won't overstay his welcome or wear out his welcome with his music.
