I told my parents I was going to get a piercing... they still don't really buy it, I guess...

Honestly, all my pants sit way below my belly button, and none of them even come close to it lately...
I mean, the pain... I suppose I'll just have to find a way to deal with it, eventually...
If some people think that look is sexy, then fine, let them look, but if you don't, then just look away, I guess...
And what if this whole thing is only going to last a few more months anyway???

So, I heard this one rumor the other day, if you can even call it that...
They were basically asking, "What are you even going to do about it once you're pregnant?"
Like, they said the belly button stretches out and that little indentation... and that it might actually tear or something... blah blah blah...
It’s funny how the human mind is almost perfect...
But when it comes to imagination... man...😁

So, I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo...
maybe just something small, you know, right above my hip area...
but the thing is, I really don't want it to be a permanent thing for the rest of my life...
I think I heard somewhere that there are these temporary ones that eventually just fade away after a few years?
does anyone actually know where I could go to get something like that done??
and if they do, does it actually disappear completely over time?
also, I guess I should ask... is it just as painful as the regular kind?

It’s not exactly true that you can’t sleep on your stomach for a month straight, though I guess you really have to watch yourself so you don't snag the piercing on your shirt or something while you're getting dressed, which sounds like a total headache.

And honestly, I’m such a klutz that I’d probably snag it within five minutes, 100% guaranteed.

My cousin's piercing has been all gross and infected for six months now.
