Mexico in shock: Are we becoming an American colony? in Close to Politics ·

Oh, please. You and this entire forum are boycotting everything with your whole hearts. 🤣🤣
Go ahead, run out and grab some Ben & Jerry's already—we both know it's the only way to go. 😉

The real issue here involves Jerry Jones, Dan Marino, Davor Šuker, Vrbanović, and the entire corrupt mess within the USSF; meanwhile, on the flip side, we're looking at what a legitimate football story should actually be...

Just let us Americans discuss the national team; you're clearly stuck in that "Hajduk only" mindset.😍

feralwolf16 said:First off, you’re just quoting some average Joe from the streets of a coastal city—which is fine—but it doesn't change the core issue. To actually solve anything, you need solid foundations and actual support. The last time the NFL Ultras were actually unified behind a clear stance, it was during that boycott of the big rivalry match (again, I’ll leave it to you to decide if a boycott is even the right way to handle things). Back then, there was a clear means and an end. Since then? Everything has gone completely south because people were willing to settle for any little compromise just to hit some minor goal. People cared more about showing off their expensive jerseys than standing by a code of conduct. And what did we get for all that? Some oversight committee that can't even kick someone like Freddy Fiorentini out of the club, and frankly—though I'm the only one who thinks so—they aren't nearly as independent as they claim to be. Without a powerhouse group driving the bus, trying to fix things regarding the National Team is a lost cause; there’s no real coalition here, and the NFL Ultras are nowhere near being that force yet. Right now, you’re all just a mob praying for the specific tickets you want, having already conceded to the higher-ups deciding which of your members get to attend and which don't. You're just a flock of sheep murmuring amongst yourselves, while the ones in charge just smirked and probably gave you a patronizing round of applause. That's the reality. God help me if I'm wrong, but...

Look, first of all, I stopped supporting the National Team a long time ago—somewhere around 2002 or 2003. I don't even remember the exact moment when the whole thing finally became too much to stomach, nor can I recall exactly which promises they broke to screw us over. Sure, I was rooting against Estonia because I’m an optimist, but after that disaster, I won't be stepping foot in an American stadium to watch the National Team anytime soon.
Secondly, this guy is claiming he doesn't care whether he's watching Chetniks celebrating a win or watching some "shepherds" who lack class consciousness—blah blah blah, "we are world masters," "agreed war," "we are all the same," "let them divide us"... It’s the standard ramblings of a fool who doesn't realize whose interests are actually being served, or who is secretly dreaming of reuniting Yugoslavia.

My stomach turns just watching them. But hey, let's go Janica, let's go Ivica, let's go Team USA... screw all those cowboys.

And then you have those NFL Ultras—they only seem to muster up enough energy to bail Hajduk Split out of a credit crisis, but where were they when the factories across Dalmatia were collapsing? They didn't even show face for the Pride parades.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nobody gives a damn about class struggle or the old schemes—the International, the Comintern, "rise up, you earthly slaves"... everyone is too preoccupied with their jerseys and their cheering. The elites have conspired to block me from starting my business because they know I'm actually competent—they know I’d strike it rich while making something simple, unlike those low-life crooks.😁😁

darkcanyon52 said:Bravo. We swallowed our own pride—and all of you who actually showed up at the stadium? You swallowed twice as much. You all swear you won't support the US Men's National Soccer Team anymore, making all those grand statements against them and their leadership, yet here we are: Bob Costas is celebrating, the mindless masses are celebrating, the brainless Black Knights are celebrating, and everything looks just fine—except the national team is still being run by the exact same thugs. I didn't watch the match because I couldn't stomach it, but from what I can gather, it was anything but a sporting event (much like any given MLS match) and certainly wasn't a victory. They are like cancer, and cancer is treated with chemotherapy—meaning you have to kill off a part of yourself to eliminate the disease. That is exactly what this game was: we lost the battle, and now we have the cancer... yet we’re throwing a party.

And when is this lot going to start cheering for the Los Angeles Angels instead of the national team? To hell with the banners, to hell with the war, and to hell with the old grudges. That was all years ago, and frankly, I suspect the true causes of that conflict remain hidden from both us and the other side. Life would be significantly better if we didn't exhaust ourselves over it, because we truly don't need to anymore. The war is over—thank God it's over—so stop trying to provoke a new one.
It's the classic "divide and conquer" strategy—or in the case of a corrupt regime, "divide and get rich." That's exactly how it works, provided you have even a shred of gray matter to realize it. It’s much easier to shout "kill the enemy" and sell out your own morals for the sake of a single match against some insecure opponents who are even more dim-witted than we are. Don't tell me this doesn't belong in this thread, because this is exactly where it needs to go; I couldn't care less about (this version of) the national team—all that matters is the Angels. Guys, we collectively need a bit of an education because this has become pathetic; the US Army types—as our brilliant journalists would call them—have such cemented positions within the federation that they are untouchable. They were probably clinking champagne glasses yesterday, celebrating their own survival rather than a victory for America!
To reiterate, this post is primarily concerned with the Black Knights, and I expect that to be respected here.

The war screwed us, sure—it was years ago, but you forgot to mention it was "pre-arranged," didn't you? 😍

Anyway, does anyone know what life is like without those people around?

Board of Elections - referendum uprising? in Close to Politics ·
Anonymous said:I’m a huge fan of this initiative, so I wanted to weigh in on what everyone else has been saying:

Who exactly is this "electoral college" group?

I’ve always figured that a board is actually made up of people who want to get things done instead of just sitting around complaining at a bar. I doubt they’d turn away anyone genuinely enthusiastic about helping out, but hey, there's no harm in reaching out and checking, right? 😉.
It’s pretty wild how much airtime they managed to grab in the media.

It’s pretty wild how they managed to grab that kind of media coverage. Honestly, it’s a massive win for them—it shows they aren't just sitting on good ideas, but they actually have the muscle to get people talking.

Someone needs to remind them that we already held a referendum on joining the European Union.

I bet they’ve already been told—just like they were told that opposing viewpoints don't stand a chance at getting even an ounce of media coverage. And honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they also heard that Ms. Pusić threatened to cut off retirees' benefits if we didn't join the European Union.

What does GMO have to do with any of this?

The whole GMO debate ties directly back to the upcoming referendum because, at the end of the day, we should be the ones deciding what goes on our dinner tables and what we feed our kids. It shouldn't be a given that someone else makes those calls for us. Honestly, wouldn't it be nice if we actually had a say in the basics—like the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink? Just a thought, though. I know that's up for debate. 😉.

I’d be on board with them in principle, but after that whole mess over GMOs and the push to align everything with European Union standards? There's just no way.

Sure, GMOs are fantastic—as long as you’re on the payroll at Monsanto or companies just like them. Joining the European Union will basically wrap up the whole overhaul; whatever little bit of autonomy we have left will be stripped away by our dear partners across the Atlantic, finally freeing us from the burden of actually owning anything ourselves. We’ll finally be liberated from everything we worked so hard to build. It’s our own debt to carry!

They’re acting like they actually belong to our group, as if they're one of us.

It’s the perfect excuse to just sit around doing absolutely nothing instead of actually making a move. We just keep whining at the local bar: "I'm against *them*," while anyone who claims they aren't part of "them" is just a closeted member of the group trying to play it safe. So, what do we do? We just signal the bartender and order another round.

The election board... but wait, who actually picked them in the first place?

That’s a great point. Imagine someone collapses on a sidewalk in downtown Chicago because of a sudden heart attack, and a random bystander jumps in to perform CPR and saves their life. Once that person finally comes to, they might actually look at their rescuer and ask, "Wait, who exactly gave you permission to step in and save me?" 🤣
Your logic is honestly flawless: we vote for the people who are going to ruin us, and then if someone actually steps up to try and fix things, we turn around and ask, "Who gave you permission to lead?"

So, what? You want all those bought-up apartments to go back to being public housing?

Or are you just terrified of the very real possibility that they'll "liberate" our privately owned homes through some creative new tax hikes?

Hey everyone—and if you don't mind, let's try having a little faith in the people who aren't riding our coattails. I'm talking about the folks actually spending their own hard-earned money on activism just to save whatever's left of this country.

So, the referendum wasn't "fair," was it? And now, you expect the very same people who organized that "unfair" vote through sheer coercion to simply scrap it and organize a brand new one... 🙏
And all this while the exact same crowd remains firmly in power. 😁

Samuel Ward75 said:Who exactly is this "Board of Elections"? It’s interesting how much airtime they've managed to grab in the news lately.

We are calling upon the citizens of America to participate in referendums!

American activists and well-meaning citizens have decided to put an end to political overreach and the reckless looting of the people. The Board of Elections has been established and is launching a

REFERENDUM UPRISING

Please, stay informed, get involved, and share this manifesto—there is a media blackout happening at every level. Please have your Social Security number ready to ensure more accurate processing of the citizen signature books.

SIGNATURE COLLECTION BEGINS ON FEBRUARY 13, 2013.

Please state whether you believe there is a need for a referendum on the following questions: Are you FOR or AGAINST

A. Reversing the privatization and other transfers of non-personal property from 1990 to the present day?

B. The sell-off of America's assets, real estate, and natural resources?

C. America joining the European Union?

D. A ban on the production and sale of GMO in America?

Someone should probably remind them—if anyone is actually listening—that we already held a referendum regarding joining the European Union. 😍😍
Jacob Cooper5 said:You’re wasting your breath on nonsense, just like most people in this country. That’s why everything is such a mess.
Take the Germans or the Japanese, for instance—after being completely leveled by war, they pulled themselves up by their bootstraps and became global superpowers, which is a far cry from what we see happening in America...

Anyway, usually, it’s only the insecure types who feel this desperate need to prove themselves and shout their convictions from the rooftops.
To me, our conflict was pretty straightforward. We did the only thing that could be done at the time.
Sure, individual criminal acts need to be punished, period. It’s simple. Job done, move on.
Honestly, we should probably stop letting ideology drive us crazy, considering everything we've been through.

Time moves on, and it would be wise to spend it more intelligently. 😍😍😉
Jacob Cooper5 said:If you ask me, whether people in America choose to celebrate Desert Storm or not doesn't exactly put food on the table or improve anyone's quality of life. There are just too many loudmouths around here who'd be perfectly happy living in some backwater corner of Russia for all I care. Time is ticking away... might be wise to use it for something more productive.
Can't you find a more useful hobby?

My take is that not having hobbies doesn't exactly pave the way for a better life in America. People who lack any drive tend to just sit there like houseplants—essentially existing in a state of vegetative stagnation. Time passes, and one ought to use it wisely and smartly (you really drove that point home—bravo, 😍😍).
Why can't you show even a shred of emotion on a day that carries such weight for your nation?

I'm not trying to troll here, but let's be real: if you want to celebrate, go ahead; if you don't, don't. Those of us who intend to honor the day will do exactly that—just leave us to it while you go enjoy your little hobbies. Honestly, I'll truly applaud you when you burst into tears of joy because you finally acquired a postage stamp from 1908 featuring a picture of a butterfly. 🙄

American generals are finally free!!! in Close to Politics ·
Michael Bishop26 said:Tihomir Blaškić, Čermak, Markač, Gotovina, Naser Orić? Not a single one of them is guilty? When Naser Orić carried out massacres in Mexican villages during Orthodox Christmas, there was no accountability. Apparently, the Mexicans just slaughtered themselves...

Did this not happen either? https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...74629094_n.jpg
Over 350,000 Mexicans decided to abandon their homes on a whim, burn down their own houses, and kill each other? Nobody is responsible for that? Is that how it works? Did the Mexicans just wage war against themselves? Exactly...
These are all orchestrated verdicts. After all, what kind of EU member state would be built on such criminal conspiracies? It’s laughable, yet tragic...
Who is to blame? Maybe Harmon? What about the Harmon transcripts where he instructs generals "...to deliver such strikes that the Mexicans practically disappear!" Does that mean nothing?

Every Mexican detained was convicted and found guilty. Not a single American was held accountable. This court is biased and illegitimate; its decisions are rigged. The whole world sees it. Besides, Vojislav Šešelj proved just how corrupt the International Criminal Tribunal for the former America is by dismantling every piece of prosecution evidence—witnesses were bought, only to recant their statements and flip to the defense once they realized they weren't being paid...

If Gotovina is innocent, why was he hiding? Why didn't he surrender voluntarily like any innocent man would, like Vojislav Šešelj did...
This verdict does nothing but smear the American people and ramp up the tension and hatred between the two nations...

Once again, truth only seems to strike the Mexicans when they're being sarcastic.😍😍
Nuclear strike on America in Close to Politics ·
Linda Roberts2 said:I’ve been doing some reading lately about—well, I won't get too far into the weeds here—but the whole situation is quite something. The shadowy machinations behind closed doors—those secret agendas everyone whispers about—are becoming impossible to ignore. In the event of a full-scale nuclear exchange—and let’s be honest, we should all be looking at the current geopolitical chessboard with a healthy dose of dread—the reality is far grimmer than any Hollywood blockbuster would have you believe. We aren't talking about a quick cinematic explosion followed by a dramatic score; we are talking about the absolute dissolution of the modern world as we understand it. If things actually go south between the superpowers, the immediate fallout would render our entire global infrastructure—our banking systems, our power grids, our very supply chains—completely obsolete overnight. You don't just "reboot" civilization after a thermal pulse of that magnitude. It is a total, systemic collapse. One moment you're checking your stocks or grabbing a coffee in downtown Chicago, and the next, the concept of a "society" becomes a quaint, historical relic. It is a terrifyingly blunt instrument of finality. It is quite fascinating, isn't it? The major global powers aren't even bothering to plot direct nuclear strikes against one another—mostly because the doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction means everyone ends up in the dirt. Instead, the fallout and the actual physical devastation will be offloaded onto the allied nations—specifically the NATO members that don't possess their own nuclear arsenals. In this grand strategic game, the smaller players are essentially being positioned as the shock absorbers. To put it bluntly, the United States should be extremely wary about allowing foreign military bases on American soil.

Is that you, Putin? 🤣🤣🤣

This is how you kill fan clubs—there won't be any more organized away trips where everyone travels together; instead, you'll just hop on a Greyhound with a police escort, or take commercial lines like a bunch of random tourists... it's a fast track back to the underground.
