If you're trying to use a Mastercard, then PayPal isn't going to cut it.

From what I gather, PayPal only plays nice with Visa and Visa electron.

Correct me if I've got that wrong, though.

Quick question here:

For a few years now, I’ve been renewing my auto insurance policy through eBay in partnership with USA...

But this time, when I try to renew my coverage and punch in my details, I get hit with this:

The information provided doesn't match—we suggest the following instead:
[_] Policy Number [OK]: xxxxxxxxxx
[_] License Plate [OK]: NYXXXYY
[_] First Name [OK]: xxxxxx
[_] Last Name/Entity [OK]: XXXXXX
[_] Leasing [OK]: NO

Well, obviously, all those x’s and y’s are replaced by my actual info.
And isn't it funny how the system claims everything is "OK" in the brackets right next to the data, yet it still rejects me?

Why on earth won't it accept my input when the details are perfectly accurate and my policy shows up just fine in the American insurance registry?

Ryan Carter52 said:Well, if you're the one paying those high premiums, just wait until you get hit by someone driving a car with that cheap coverage—then you'll be praying to God.
If your "premium" insurance is so great, why isn't it covering your damages directly instead of forcing you to fight with the other person's insurance company after their driver wrecks your car?

Here is just one more reason why I will NEVER insure anything with State Farm again.
There is this guy who has been a loyal customer since 1974, and he has NEVER even filed a claim until last year.
Now that the market is more competitive, they finally decided to offer him a loyalty discount in the amount of:
$0.35 !!!!!!!!!!!!

$9.75That’s the total discount they offered for forty years of loyalty, so that's how much they care about him!
And just in case anyone thinks I'm making this up, I’m attaching a scan of the actual offer right here.

That 35% discount figure really rubs me the wrong way... I mean, seriously? If a person has been a member for 40 years and has never even bothered to file a claim, why on earth isn't that discount at least 50%?🤔🤔

Paul Peterson6 said:JPMorgan Chase is easily the worst of the bunch; everyone else is doing just fine enough 😁

And what exactly led you to that conclusion?

No bank is going to put up with someone who can't manage their finances. I’ve been banking with Zábanka for years now and haven't run into a single issue. I had one minor hiccup once, but we worked it out through a simple conversation—they were actually incredibly polite and accommodating.

I stay on top of my bills religiously, so for me, Zábanka is gold standard. Their online banking, in particular, is lightyears ahead of the competition; compared to what they have in Miami, it feels like a spaceship.

Isn't it funny how the people who always have something bad to say about banks are usually the ones who couldn't meet their own obligations? They sign a contract, agree to the terms, fail to follow through, and then what? Expect the bank to just roll over and forgive them?

Care to enlighten us? Why is Zábanka the "worst" in your book? Because from where I’m sitting, they’re the best... at least based on my own experiences.

I’d love to hear the specific grievances you have against these "villains" that somehow make everyone else perfectly wonderful by comparison...
Why are Gillette razors so expensive? in Miscellaneous ·
I’ve got a pretty thick beard myself, and honestly, those dual-blade disposables last me at least five shaves before they start to feel dull.

Do you go with a shaving cream or a traditional soap? If you're just going "dry," you're probably lucky if you get more than two uses out of them. Using foam or soap doesn't just protect the blade; it makes the whole process way smoother since it actually softens the hair. It really makes a massive difference...
Why are Gillette razors so expensive? in Miscellaneous ·
Brian Bishop2 said:Honestly, they aren’t even that expensive if you actually know how to make them last. People complain about the price tag, but let's be real—those "disposable" razors can easily carry you through more than a month if you aren't reckless with them. Is it really a waste of money if they actually do the job?
Look, if you’re out there dropping serious cash on some fancy Mach3 or whatever high-end number they're pushing these days, you're basically just setting money on fire. Honestly, why bother? Even those basic disposables do a damn good job. Is the extra prestige really worth the empty wallet? I don't think so.

I’ve been sitting here wondering why on earth eyeglass frames are so damn expensive. I mean, we're talking hundreds, sometimes even thousands of dollars for what is essentially just a little chunk of plastic or metal. It makes no sense. Honestly, compared to those prices, a Gillette razor feels like pocket change. Is anyone else seeing this? What are we actually paying for?

I honestly couldn't disagree with you more.

I’ve decided to just dive in and start testing things out myself. Honestly, isn't that the only way to do it? I figured if I want to find the absolute best solution without emptying my bank account, I'm going to have to get my hands dirty and run some experiments. Why wait for someone else to tell you what works when you can just go out and find the sweet spot between quality and price on your own?

A standard two-blade Gillette gets the job done, sure, but let’s be honest—it’s nowhere near that level of pure comfort. It’s fine if you're just trying to scrape off the surface, but there’s a massive difference between "functional" and actually feeling good while you shave. There are already options out there that... $0.33 You know, you get a razor, you start shaving, and by the second pass, you're already dealing with irritation and skin pulling. It’s frustrating, isn't it? You expect a smooth glide, but instead, you're just fighting against your own face.

Whether you're grabbing a pack of Wilkinson or sticking with Gillette, those three-blade razors seem to be sitting at around $8 lately. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? Is it just me, or does it feel like we're paying more every single time we step into a CVS? You walk down that aisle, looking at the prices, and you can't help but think about how much things used to cost. Is there actually any difference in quality, or are we just paying for the fancy packaging and the massive marketing budgets behind these brands? Honestly, it’s enough to make you want to just switch back to a straight razor, though I suppose that’s a whole different headache entirely.$3.25 And they only last maybe three to five shaves tops... honestly, it’s just way too much money to drop on a hunk of plastic with three blades that aren't even that sharp to begin with. Is it just me, or is the value proposition getting worse by the day?

But then I stumbled upon what I call a Mach3 alternative—something I’ve been talking about in my DMs and over on Miller for a bit now. $13 And that’s with five blades. Honestly, they have a certain heft to them in your hand, much like the Mach3, which I suppose is the point. But here's the kicker: once you go out and drop the cash on the actual device, you realize you're just signing up for a lifetime of buying replacement cartridges. A pack of four refills will run you about... $13 I’ve been running with these for over a year now. Depending on how often I decide to actually bother shaving—which varies, because let's be honest, I don't exactly go at it every single day—one cartridge usually lasts me anywhere from three to four months. Is that efficient? Maybe. Does it matter? Probably not.

Honestly, isn't it just so much more rewarding—and frankly, way easier on the wallet—to ditch those overpriced, plastic junk razors? I mean, why are we still paying a premium for those disposable things that feel like they were engineered in a lab specifically to drain our bank accounts? It’s just not worth it. There's something about a real setup that feels right, you know? Much more satisfying than dealing with that flimsy, mass-produced nonsense.
Euro exchange rate surge in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’ve been chewing on something lately, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who noticed the exchange rate has climbed past 7.61. I can't help but wonder—what is actually driving this?

Are we looking at a repeat of that whole Swiss franc crisis, or is this just the natural ceiling where our local banks finally catch up to the global currency? Is there cause for genuine concern here?

On one hand, savers are probably breathing a sigh of relief, but what about everyone drowning in those Euro-denominated loans?

We went from 7.20 to 7.61 in what feels like the blink of an eye. Where does this trajectory actually lead?

If anyone here actually understands the mechanics behind this surge, I’d love a breakdown of what’s really going on...

I’ve sent them scans of my ID before and finished the whole verification process last year. I even had a few withdrawals go through without any issues...

But then I went and changed my primary email on Moneybookers, and now I'm dealing with this absolute mess.

Could that be why 🤷

What really bugs me is having zero funds sitting in either MB or bwin. It feels like someone is just holding my money hostage somewhere. If I knew this was how it would play out, I would have closed my bwin account ages ago and just moved to a different sportsbook.

Honestly, that’s the exact reason I was trying to make a deposit—I thought I was in the clear since I’d already sorted everything out...

When you actually have to deal with a real human being inside those massive corporate systems, things tend to move at a glacial pace. You just have to hope they eventually sort it out, but don't expect it to happen overnight.

Look, just forget everything you’ve done up to this point. Seriously, wipe the slate clean. We’re starting over from scratch, following this specific procedure from the very beginning. Does that make sense? Good. Let's go.

That should pretty much do it.

In that section where you're going to lay out your "reason for writing," don't hold back—give them the full, messy timeline of everything you've dealt with so far. I mean, walk them through the whole ordeal from the very first moment you made a deposit, all the way through every single headache, runaround, and ridiculous complication you've had to navigate just to get to this point right now. Why leave anything out? If you want them to actually grasp how absurd this situation is, you have to show them the complete sequence of events.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I did. Honestly, though, I just can't wrap my head around how anyone can sit there and give advice on an option that doesn't even exist in the first place. How does that even work? 🤷

Based on everything I’ve been through, I might just be looking at waiting around for days. Honestly, why should anything ever be different? 🙂

Just hit up the sportsbook's live chat or shoot them an email—whatever works—and tell them you need them to update your email address for you.
They’ll ask you for all those details listed under section f) in your post, and that should wrap it up.

But see, that's exactly the thing. Changing the email itself isn't the hurdle; I already did that, saved it, and moved on. The real headache is this part:

3) Request that an e-mail confirmation be sent to your new e-mail address via the message in the right-most column.

4) In this e-mail click on the command “Please click here to confirm your e-mail address1” or enter the attached link in your web browser.

It's just not there. Where is it? There is absolutely no way for me to find where to trigger a re-verification of the email. I have no idea what's going on now; until recently, everything was smooth sailing and my deposits were hitting instantly. Now, my money is just... floating in limbo!! It's not in my Moneybookers account, and it's not at the bookie either. 🙂

And they aren't even responding to my emails. It's been 14 hours already. 🙂

What kind of unprofessionalism is this? A total disaster.

I need some urgent help here,

I just transferred funds from my Moneybookers to bwin after taking a break from the site for a few months. The money was pulled from my Moneybookers account without any issues, but it’s been nearly 24 hours and there’s still nothing showing up in my bwin account.

Here’s the situation (though I can't seem to find a fix, no matter what I try):

Thank you for your e-mail.

While reviewing your request, we noticed that the email address you used doesn't match the one we have on file for your account.

You're free to update your email address whenever you like by heading to "Personal Details" within the "My Account" section. Just remember, if you want to actually receive our emails—things like password resets or newsletters—you'll need to verify the new address. Here is how you do it:

1) Log in to our site using your user ID and password.

2) Navigate to "My Account" and then select "Personal Details."

3) Use the messaging tool in the far-right column to request a confirmation email be sent to your new address.

4) Once that arrives, simply click the "Please click here to confirm your e-mail address1" link, or copy and paste the link provided into your browser.

Alternatively, we can handle the change for you. However, because we take security seriously, we'll need you to provide the following info first:

- Your user ID:
- Your full name:
- The address registered to your account:
- Your old email address:
- Your new email address:
- Your date of birth:

As soon as we get those details, we'll swap the email over. To help us move things along quickly and accurately, please make sure to mention the reason for your inquiry in your message.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Aaron Morales7 said:What are your thoughts on putting some bigger money on Juventus, Bayern Munich, and PSG?

Juventus has had a stellar start to the season, sitting pretty at the top of the table. They even took down the current "heavyweights" of the league, Napoli, which should give them a massive boost in confidence and motivation. In the Champions League, they managed to snag a point away in England, but then they stumbled at home against Shakhtar Donetsk. Personally, I think Shakhtar got lucky, but hey, that’s just football. Now they face FC Nordsjaelland, who, according to official FIFA/UEFA stats, is the weakest side in the Champions League. I’m expecting a routine win for Juventus here; any slip-up would make their path to the knockout stage incredibly messy.

Lille has been struggling quite a bit this season—they're underperforming in their domestic league and looking shaky in the Champions League too. Locally, they're stuck hovering around the middle of the table and aren't exactly providing much excitement. In Europe, they've already dropped two matches: a 1-3 loss at home to BATE Borisov and a 2-0 defeat away at Valencia CF. On the flip side, Bayern Munich has been absolutely phenomenal, basically steamrolling everything in their domestic league. Eight games, eight wins, and a goal difference of 26:2—it's ridiculous. In the Champions League, they beat Valencia CF in the first round, but then they tripped up with an away loss in Belarus against BATE Borisov. There's still plenty of group stage left, but with BATE sitting on 6 points, the landscape has shifted significantly. Valencia CF and Bayern Munich both have 3 points, and I suspect any further mistakes would make life very difficult for them to advance, much like Juventus. My take? Every big club hits a wall eventually, but Bayern Munich already "got theirs" out of the way last matchday. I think they'll prove they're still the favorites for the top spot with a win tomorrow.

Dinamo... Well, Dinamo is Dinamo. I don't even know what to say, really. I won't drone on too long, but I think we all know where Dinamo stands—or rather, where they *don't* stand—in terms of quality. If you can even call it quality. They’re one of the weakest links in the Champions League, something they proved last season, and they seem to be following the exact same trajectory this year. Meanwhile, PSG had a slightly rocky start domestically, but they've found their rhythm and now they're sharing the top spot with Marseille. In the opening round of the Champions League, they crushed Dynamo Kyiv 4-1, but then they choked away against FC Porto, losing 1-0. They’re currently third in the group, and if they stumble again this Wednesday, they're going to be in deep trouble, just like the other two clubs mentioned. They're playing against the absolute bottom-dwellers of the group, so I'm not expecting anything less than an away win.

So, that's my take on how these matches will play out. I was thinking about parlaying those three picks for a larger payout (for me, that's roughly $167), so I wanted to see what you guys think. What are your recommendations? Do you agree with my logic, or should I steer clear of certain legs?

Quick advice!

Remove the stake amount, otherwise, you're going to run into trouble with the forum rules...

Go with Juve and Bayern, but skip PSG because they aren't at full strength (Nen is out and I think Sakho is missing too, and they're both vital players). Also, watch out for Dinamo—they always seem to snatch a point from someone when you least expect it. Against Porto and Dynamo Kyiv, they basically beat themselves! 🤷

Daniel Edwards said:Belgium is definitely the value play here. I'm just waiting for the odds to climb tomorrow so I can go all in, though honestly, 2.10 is a decent premium considering how they've been playing and the clown we have leading them. ☕

Value on Belgium? Why on earth would you think that?

Let’s be real—Belgium didn't exactly outclass Wales like some people are making it out to be. They're just a young squad riding a wave of hype, and that kind of euphoria is exactly when teams tend to crash and burn. The fact is, we have way more experience under our belts than they do. Plus, let's face it: we actually perform much better against open, attacking sides than we do against teams that just park the bus, which is exactly what happened against North Mexico.

There is absolutely no way Belgium at 2.10 constitutes value. It's just not happening.

I’m expecting three points for the US in this matchup. A handicap win is even on the table, given how many goals should fly in. With Belgium playing in front of 40,000 fans, there's no way they're going to sit back and defend—not that they even know how to defend properly anyway. 🤷

neontinker102 said:Oh, really now? Is that how it works? Then how exactly did the Lakers end up where they did?

Take a look at that bolded part I wrote in my previous post—I’ve quoted it below for you. If I’m specifically talking about Day 1, then why on earth are we bringing up the Galaxy when they aren't even playing until Day 2 of the qualifiers? 🙂

I don't know about you all, but I’ve been staring at my screen for way too long today, just wondering if anyone else feels that creeping sense of existential dread when they look at their bank account after a weekend in Chicago. Is it just me? Or does everyone feel like they’re running on a treadmill that’s set just two notches too fast? Anyway, I was thinking about what Eric Fox7 mentioned earlier regarding the market volatility. It’s funny, isn't it? We spend all this time trying to predict these massive shifts, acting like we have some kind of cosmic roadmap, when in reality, most of us are just guessing and hoping for the best. Why do we even pretend we have control over any of this? It’s almost absurd. You see these big institutional players—think JP Morgan or Goldman Sachs types—moving billions around like it’s a game of Monopoly, while the rest of us are just trying to figure out if we can afford the premium coffee this morning. It’s all a bit much sometimes. Does anyone actually find peace in this chaos, or are we all just collectively holding our breath? kaže:
Yeah, probably just an oversight, especially since they noted we're looking at 17 games instead of the usual 14 from the previous season. Does anyone else feel like these statistical shifts always seem to happen right when we need clarity most? It’s one of those things that looks like a simple mistake on paper, but suddenly you're questioning the entire data set. Just another day in the life of sports analytics, I guess.

By the way, looking back at yesterday’s slate—out of those 12 games, both teams managed to find the back of the net in 8 of them. It’s funny how that works, isn't it? You expect these defensive stalemates more often than you actually get them, yet there they were, just trading blows left and right. Makes you wonder if the league is getting more aggressive or if everyone’s just collectively decided that playing for a scoreless draw is too boring to bother with.

It wasn't an oversight. 🤷 I was talking about Day 1, but we’ve officially moved on to Day 2 now. 🙂

Look, that’s exactly why I brought up that statistical data point. It might actually mean something, or it might be completely useless—who really knows? At the end of the day, you have to remember that statistics are just a fickle, lying bitch. 🙂But then again, we can't exactly live without it either, can we?

The football and tennis threads have completely flatlined—it’s like watching a once-busy diner at 3 AM after the neon sign flickers out. And don't even get me started on the Champions League discussions. Not a single cent being talked about, not a single wager mentioned, nothing. Just silence. Is there actually anyone left in here, or am I just shouting into a void?

Look, I’m typing this on my phone right now, so don't expect me to spin any grand, poetic tales or write a freaking novel here. It’s a struggle just to hit the right keys, let alone craft some literary masterpiece. That said, since we're all here, I figured I'd drop a quick statistical factoid for the group:

Starting with game 14 on day one. What kind of absolute joke was that? Seriously, what am I even looking at? They only got three right, which is pathetic. And don't even get me started on those eleven matches where only one team managed to find the back of the net. One team? In eleven games? Is anyone actually playing defense, or are we all just collectively pretending this is competitive sports? It’s honestly exhausting watching this level of mediocrity.

Bate-Vardar 3:2
So, I just saw the final score from that matchup between the Belgrade giants and Valletta, and man, it was a total blowout—4 to 1. Honestly, does anyone actually expect anything else when these two sides meet? It feels like watching a heavyweight champion go up against a local amateur at a neighborhood park; one side is just playing a completely different game. You have to wonder if the underdog even had a tactical plan, or if they were just hoping for a miracle that never showed up. Is it even worth calling it a competitive match at this point, or are we just going through the motions? Just another day in the grind, I guess.
So, the final whistle blows, and it’s a 4-1 blowout. Honestly, where do you even start with a scoreline like that? It feels less like a competitive match and more like a controlled demolition. You watch one side fighting for scraps while the other just systematically dismantles them, piece by piece, until there's nothing left but a mess on the pitch. Is it even worth watching when the outcome feels decided by the second half? Sometimes I wonder if we're all just going through the motions, waiting for a spark that never actually comes. Just another lopsided afternoon in the books.
