Wait, so we can't enter the USA?
We're already part of the USA, aren't we?
What exactly doesn't count for the rest of the USA if you don't have a Green Card?

They’re just delaying the inevitable.
Now that people have seen what these clowns are truly capable of, they're going to start flocking to General Motors.

I have my doubts. It feels like someone whispered in Vujčić's ear that this current path just doesn't make sense, and now we're seeing a subtle shift in defense policy. Is he already preemptively pivoting to avoid an intervention from the Federal Reserve?

How exactly are we supposed to reduce wages? I can't see any other way to make this work, unless we go through with a massive devaluation of the dollar.

dustyheron5 said:The Euro exchange rate? That’s easy—just your standard summer-to-fall fluctuations. What I actually find baffling is why Mr. debil is leaning so heavily into Dollar-denominated debt. We are part of the European Union, and the Federal Reserve isn't exactly playing games while we push toward full integration... yet here we are, looking at plans to take on at least $1.5 to $2.0 billion more in USD at interest rates between 6.5% and 6.75%.

It’s almost ironic—Mr. debil and his circle used to mock everyday people for taking out loans in Swiss Francs—even though most folks aren't currency experts (unlike our dear leader, apparently)—and now they're pulling the exact same stunt. It makes you wonder how the Federal Reserve is supposed to defend both the Euro and the Dollar against the local currency all at once.

I'll grab some popcorn and settle in for this show.🙂

Things have started moving earlier than expected.
One can only imagine what kind of shape everything will be in by the next peak tourist season.
In my view, we could be looking at a move toward the 7.8 or even 8 range.
It’s pretty obvious this hit a nerve with you, especially since you spend your vacation “filming” half-naked tourists on the beach.😁
You’re going to have to find somewhere else to do that.

Look, I’ve already mentioned that I had a nightmare of an experience with State Farm. To start with, they were demanding that I pull official reports and documentation from the FBI, even though no formal investigation was conducted—nor was one required by the authorities—despite the damage being quite substantial. (If I learned anything from that ordeal, it’s that you should always insist on a formal investigation, even if the police are dragging their feet about doing it.) We filled out the standard accident report, but clearly, they didn't consider that sufficient. They kept badgering me to provide a copy of the report from the other driver, even though the rules explicitly state that only one copy needs to be completed. They just kept stalling.
Eventually, I tracked down the other individual, who filled out and signed the paperwork retroactively (which was a hassle since we hadn't even coordinated beforehand). Once I finally handed that in, they had no choice but to pay up, though they dragged it out for a month while my car sat waiting at an authorized dealership service center. It was as if nobody cared that I was left without any way to get around. On top of that, their payout estimate was barely half of what the actual repair cost was at the dealership.
Not to mention, their hourly labor rates don't even align with what the service center charges, and you’re forced to sign a power of attorney just so the dealership can bill them directly later on.
In the end, after sending a flurry of heated emails and fighting tooth and nail, everything was finally settled and they issued the payment.
If they could have found even the slightest excuse to deny me, I honestly think they would have forced me into court. I got so fed up with the staff after visiting their branch downtown that I almost just paid for the repairs out of my own pocket—it was $40 $0.00. So much for the "great" service in America...

My registration is about to expire, where should I head to get this sorted out?
Is there any way to cut some corners on those $67 fees, and if so, how does that typically work?
Gold: Past, Present, and Future in Other Investment Types ·
I honestly believe gold would need to dip below $1,000 to really start shining from a long-term perspective.

It might still see some upward momentum for a little while longer.
But let’s be real—do you actually think you can make significant long-term gains on gold? Most retail traders just end up losing their shirts.
At the end of the day, gold is essentially just paper, much like any other stock, which means it's wide open to market manipulation. That's why all those complex theories and technical analyses often fall apart when things get real.
Stocks—and even precious metals—don't actually move based on the news like people tend to assume.
Instead, a price movement happens first, and then some news story conveniently emerges afterward to justify it. It's almost too perfect. If there isn't a headline that fits the direction speculators want to take, they'll either manufacture a reason or simply wait, leaving everyone else wondering if there's some grand conspiracy at play when nothing seems to trigger the move.

Do all insurance companies charge the exact same rates for mandatory liability coverage, or can you actually find better deals out there?
I know that at Eurozone and State Farm, the prices are identical.

Ethan Barrett7 said:My bet is gold heats up one last time before crashing down toward $650 an ounce...

That's certainly possible, though we'd likely be looking at a timeframe of one, two, or even more years.
Essentially, this is a prime opportunity to bet on a correction.
Of course, that assumes you have the patience to wait out the market for years.

Does anyone happen to know if the upcoming repeal of the luxury and jewelry tax means I'll finally be able to transport gold across state lines without getting hit by extra fees, or will they still try to squeeze me for every cent?

Absolutely terrifying.
