Sam Alvarez4 said:I mean, who actually reads the New York Post to stay informed about anything? 🤦🤦🤦

Honestly, the New York Post is great for staying in the loop. They’re super fast, and their stories are quick—sometimes a little rough around the edges, I guess—but they get straight to the point and have tons of awesome photos.

If you want to sit around philosophizing or deep-diving into heavy stuff, sure, go check out The Washington Post or The Wall Street Journal...

Everything else is just overcomplicating things.

I mean, obviously they churn out a ton of junk, but I don't think any paper is totally free from a little bit of trash...

Looks like the Sultan is finally OUT.

Back when he was everyone's favorite, and while he was dealing with those massive issues in the Middle East, there was this huge earthquake out in the West, near San Francisco, where a lot of folks live. Suddenly, all those problems just seemed to vanish because everyone was too busy trying to get life back to normal after the quake.

But hey, look at him now...

(I mean, with all the high-tech stuff we have nowadays, I guess it's somewhat possible to trigger earthquakes? Not saying every single one is fake, since tremors are totally natural, but I can't help but notice some weird coincidences 🤔)
Honestly, the weirdest part of this whole circus to me is how economic migrants have suddenly become the bad guys! Like, they’re actually the only positive kind of migrants because they show up ready to work—kind of like how Americans head out to find jobs elsewhere, you know? They aren't just moving to live off welfare like millions of people in Western Europe. A system that basically funds people for life just to sit around on social assistance when they aren't even sick... I mean, that just seems like a broken system to me!

It's like there's zero sense of responsibility for the future. She knows she'll be fine for a few more years, but she couldn't care less about what happens after she's gone. ☕

I bet she wouldn't dream of setting up a single refugee tent in her own backyard, let alone carving out a room for a family of five from Syria. ☕

Honestly, I don't think it's even about her personally. This woman basically just spoke some truth recently: multiculturalism is dead! That's her stance, and everyone else in Europe is just chanting the same old mantra. I mean, who told them they had to say that? Who knows.

The thing is, countries don't actually have to agree to this stuff. You shouldn't follow orders that lead straight to self-destruction. Things change so fast these days. If we stay a massive target, we're going to ruin our own country. Just look at Canada and their version of multiculturalism... what a beautiful coexistence, right?
Narrator's Color in Movies ·
The Color of Pomegranate is just pure magic. I can't quite remember if I'm mixing it up with some other indie flick from that era, but I think there isn't even any dialogue in this one. Back in the eighties, TV networks were actually bold enough to air stuff like this.

Honestly, I don't think many movies out there can touch those classics from that period. If I could, I’d probably go out and buy every single one of them.

Totally with you! It was awful. Honestly, just a total fraud, nothing more. It feels like we're heading right back to those old-school shady characters from the early 1900s. Everything's just going to go downhill from here!

neondrifter2 said:That movie is an absolute classic from the 30s. I remember catching a clip of it once. I was listening to some stuff about the director recently—people say his other work is just as incredible—and it got me thinking: where can I actually find this thing? Like, where could I go to watch it?🙄

I heard the soundtrack is pretty legendary too.

Maybe I'm overthinking it?🙄

Oh man, I saw that one on TV maybe 20 years ago, and it really stuck with me. Honestly, I've forgotten so many movies lately that actually feel like true art—you know, the kind that hits you deep and leaves you staring at a wall thinking about it for days.

You could probably grab a copy online somewhere. I haven't checked, but I guess you can buy pretty much anything on the internet these days.
Super Size Me!!! in Movies ·
Lisa Ramos28 said:The movie itself wasn't really anything special, I guess. It doesn't exactly prove anything new, right? I mean, what else can you expect when you start by stuffing your face and then follow it up with food that even the most clueless person wouldn't call healthy. But hey, they're Americans, so maybe it just didn't click for them. Unless Oprah talked about it once or something.

But honestly, you can never have too many anti-American messages, so the movie is fine as it is. I feel like I could just pat that poor, exhausted guy on the head and say, "Good job!" 👍

Totally random, but is your username named after that high-tech face cream? I was just wondering! 🙂
