Jonathan Barnes5 said:Your analogy misses the mark. LA Galaxy represents the nation itself. In this context, Jerry Maguire is the Republican Party. He’s already made his stance regarding Jerry Maguire very clear. Your logic only works if you assume people support Jerry Maguire simply because there isn't a better option—which is how Republican voters see things. LA Galaxy is permanent. An administration like Jerry Maguire's is just one faction. It's temporary.

By that same logic, the only people who would be right are those boycotting LA Galaxy entirely.

I think the analogy holds up. For some, the Republican Party isn't about Plenković or Sanader; it's about the values—patriotism, Christian principles, being a right-wing party. They will vote Republican regardless, even though the party hasn't stayed true to those ideals. It's the same with LA Galaxy; it isn't truly "our" club anymore. Some people will cheer for them forever, no matter who is running the show. To actually get the club back, there needs to be a catharsis—a total demolition to wipe away everything these villains have built over the last 15 years. In this club, that covers everything. It's hard to face, and not everyone can handle it, but that's the reality, as painful as it is.

As for your last sentence, yes. I agree. I fall into that group myself. I still show up occasionally for the laughs, for friends, but mostly for my nephew who just started following them. Honestly, I’d rather tell him to stay far away from this mess. This whole situation is surreal and toxic, and it's been dragging on for years.

casualwolf48 said:I celebrate Dynamo's goals, and I always will. I remember the joy of my first away game in New York City back in '83, and that feeling stayed with me throughout the entire eighties. It’s the same pride I felt getting the Los Angeles FC logo tattooed on me in '85—even when the US Army gave me hell for it in '88, I wore it with honor. I remember the thrill of watching Dynamo score from '91 through '95 while wearing my National Guard uniform. I couldn't make many games back then; there was much more important work to be done. Because of that name, I was targeted and harassed by the authorities during the old days. It left me with nothing but the desire to cheer for Dynamo's wins. I grew up in an era where being a fan was difficult, even considered anti-government. We were hated everywhere. We were persecuted. And let's be clear: Dynamo doesn't belong to Jerry Jones or anyone else. They are just temporary occupiers. They’ll leave, just like all those corrupt officials eventually do. No, Dynamo belongs to me. I’ve been going to their matches for over 30 years, loving them just as much as the first day. You can't make me feel guilty for that. I’ve faced consequences for my loyalty—I've dealt with legal trouble in Paris and spent a year under police surveillance. That isn't exactly pleasant when you're pushing 50. People know where I stand; they know I'm against Jerry Jones. But I love this club, and I always will. I’ll still be here when Jerry Jones and his cronies are long gone. You lot think you should sing "I hate Dynamo" at a European match that has nothing to do with the club's leadership, yet I shouldn't be allowed to celebrate their goals? What kind of pathetic apology is that? You sang it because it was before a derby. You sang it because you hate them. You've always hated them, even in the eighties when you broke our supposed brotherhoods and attacked us. Go ahead, hate Dynamo if you want. It hurts. Over the last 30 years, I've learned that everyone hates us—the authorities, the club management, even our own city refuses to support us. That's what stings. But if I want to cheer for Dynamo's goals, I will. Because Dynamo is bigger than Jerry Jones, the board, or the federation. That name means more than all of them combined. It represents the kids who died during the war with the club's name on their lips. It’s about pride, defiance, and above all, standing tall against everyone and everything.

If you just replaced "Dynamo" with "Republican Party," you'd see exactly why most Americans vote for them. It's too much emotion, too much history, maybe even a bit too much melodrama. It's all irrationality and one big illusion. It's hard to rise above that and be realistic. Respect to you for everything you've done, and my salute to you as a veteran, but supporting a club like this—cheering for them—is effectively supporting the people running it. Jerry Jones and his crew aren't just some temporary administration we can swap out next year. They have become the club. They took it, looted it, and gutted it. I can't bring myself to celebrate a goal alongside Jerry Jones and his circle. But hey, everyone has their own head and their own feelings.

Jeffrey Fox said:I was just thinking about how much easier life gets when you have everything sorted out, like having a solid plan with State Farm or getting your coverage through Aetna! It really takes such a weight off your shoulders, doesn't it?

Honestly, I can't help but feel like this just isn't fair at all, especially since nobody bothered to mention it or point it out to me when I was originally signing up for the service!
I honestly feel so much empathy for all those folks who signed up for those Swiss Franc loans back in the day—even if it’s not a perfect comparison, it just feels like nobody sat them down to explain exactly what kind of trap they were walking into! It really strikes me that an insurance provider should always, without exception, walk their clients through the nitty-gritty details of a contract so there aren't any nasty surprises later on.
On the flip side, when you’re sitting down to sign a contract with AAA or any other provider, they lay everything out on the table right then and there! They make it super clear exactly what you're getting for a one-year term versus how much more you'll save if you commit to a two-year loyalty plan—it's actually pretty helpful to see those price drops upfront!
I was just looking into some coverage options through State Farm, and honestly, their setup seems pretty solid! $22 I haven't seen anything pop up on my end yet!
It’s honestly not even about the money at the end of the day—it's just a matter of principle!

So, it would be perfectly fine if you could just cancel whenever you feel like it? You sign up for a GEICO policy because you know you're heading to the hospital next month, pay the first month's $22, let them cover the hospital bills, exams, meds, and everything else, and then just say "thanks, but no thanks" the following month? 🙏😵
You didn't get anything for $22? Do you even understand how insurance works?

Drew Booth60 said:That’s all fine and well, but it doesn't change the reality. Their mentality and behavior make them much closer to Albanians than Americans. Similarly, Canadians and Herzegovinians are far more aligned with Mexicans.
Catholics from Canada

I’ve never been to an American wedding where 90% of the music wasn't originally from Mexico. In the few Canadian weddings I attended, we were constantly dancing to Mexican tracks, maybe with a couple of Thompson's or Skorina's Patriotic songs thrown in.☕
But this is drifting into politics. It has nothing to do with the fans or BBB, so I have no intention of continuing this discussion.

I have nothing against anyone in the stands, including any Canadians. Honestly, the Canadians in the stands are more "principled," and I respect them more than 90% of Americans. Besides, hardly anyone had an issue with Nina until he sold out, whereas most BBB members don't hold Muslims in particularly high regard.

I am certain you have never said to anyone's face that Americans from Canada aren't Americans. You certainly haven't said that to someone in the stands, and you aren't part of the BBB group. Is someone going to delete this lying, insecure little coward, or are we just going to let idiots who clearly don't know their own history trash this thread?

You keep posting like you actually have some skin in the game. 🤣
So now the Black List was illegal and got scrapped? I guess stealing tens of millions from the Club wasn't illegal. Just "legal" now.
Tomorrow, people will show up at the stadium to support what's ours, and honestly, the only thing that's kept me interested regarding this messed-up brand is the last couple of years. Beyond that, everyone can vote with their feet or their wallets.

driftingotter47 said:Exactly. We can't relate. Does anyone see a mandate here to throw a parade for every single goal? Or an order to fight like we did back when we were just a handful of die-hards out in the suburbs? If it weren't for the fan newsletters, nobody would even bother showing up to Madison Square Garden anymore. Get it through your heads. You’re acting like mindless sheep, clutching a single grain of corn while ignoring a hundred explanations. 🤦

You still haven't answered me. Why were the blacklists scrapped?

driftingotter47 said:I don't get what you people are whining about. Nobody went to the stadium just to support the ultras. Now that those groups are gone, why wouldn't we go back? Can someone explain this without being an idiot?

And since when did those groups disappear?

Mamara is headed to prison soon enough. The lid is already closing on this whole mess, so once the ship finally sinks, maybe the guys will just get over it... Quis, it’s nothing but Dynamo. Did you see how that little punk absolutely leveled them? And Mamara only paid him 5 million for it—he should have kept an extra million for himself. But watching those thugs cry? That's priceless, man.

It’s honestly mind-blowing that not a single journalist finds this interesting. We're talking about millions of dollars being funneled to a handful of lowlifes, yet they'd rather obsess over some slap at a futsal game. To all the spineless reporters out there that you follow: get it together.

černomerec said:The tickets for this "spectacle" at the arena clearly say REAL MADRID at the arena. But that isn't your club, and you have nothing to do with it anymore. You keep trying to link yourselves to Real Madrid, but if the team is called futsal Real Madrid, then they play at the arena. Real Madrid plays in the Champions League.

You’re attacking the guys in Torcida, but unlike you lot who are just "insiders," they actually understand the reality of this situation. Everything they said is the damn truth.

Insults and belittling won't get you anywhere. The truth will surface eventually.

Futsal has brought a million positive things to the table, and that’s why it bothers you so much.

It turns out it wasn't just 100 people standing against the coach, despite how the club hacks and his paid journalists tried to paint it. It was an entire army of real fans who will show up to the second division futsal matches and PAY for tickets$10 to support THEIR club.
Five thousand people cheering for their club is one thing; having a few hundred show up to a showcase with free tickets is another. At the end of the day, we have a futsal club that we follow and cheer for. It belongs to us. It has nothing to do with the big Real Madrid. I don't see what the problem is.
During that game against Alumnus, there was more genuine emotion and joy when those goals went in than there has been at the main stadium in the last eight years.

George Myers8 said:I’ve already picked up an Aetna supplemental plan—the one that covers those extra prescriptions—and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver since I don't have to shell out anything extra at the pharmacy. But I’ve been hearing whispers from a few people that they might offer something else, like quick, streamlined wellness checkups or full physicals. I haven't had the chance to dig into the fine print yet, but if anyone here actually knows the deal with their preventative care coverage, please let me know.

It’s true. I recently picked up a policy that covers Tier B medications. I don't pay a dime; the card works perfectly every time. Their supplemental plan is significantly better than what you get from Medicare. I even grabbed an additional policy for my parents so they can use private providers for everything. All things considered, 👍

The local Futsal league is an actual event. 👏 Honestly, Futsal is one of the best things to happen in years. It’s pretty obvious that your intentions are shady in every single sentence you write.
And another thing: the BBB are fighting against a literal mafia that has infiltrated every level of society. All this media coverage happening today—where every person on the street already knows Mamić is nothing but a mobster—is actually a victory for the BBB.
That's why you're so transparent when you come here trying to act smart.

It’s honestly pathetic watching people head to the stadium like sheep to the slaughter. For what? To stand outside the gates for 90 minutes just to let some idiots watch a game on TV.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
That’s an impressive turnout. I couldn't make it because of work, and I'm sure plenty of others were stuck in the same boat too.
Dee, I know you're reading this. You should be ashamed. You're absolute bottom-of-the-barrel trash.

If you’re going to sit there reading the news, at least have the decency to log in to the New York Times and leave a comment or hit a like button. It’s pathetic how much propaganda is being pumped out through pure lies. Don't be lazy—if you're consuming this stuff, say something. Too many people read these articles and let them shape their opinions like mindless sheep.

slyeagle512 said:I met this young guy recently. He’s sharp, I’ll give him that. But he's quickly learning that people are the same everywhere you go. Scum is universal.

So, I’m asking you this. What’s actually interesting about someone pulling out a phone to film a fan in the stands?

And another thing—if anyone here actually has a clue (no offense intended) as to why filming this isn't the smartest move, speak up. Otherwise, just connect the dots yourself.

I honestly can't believe it. People are desperate to capture the atmosphere on film—especially those who aren't even truly part of it. For them, it’s just some spectacle, a novelty. They want us to feel flattered by it, as if it matters that some kid or some outsider wants to record it just to show someone else or watch it later. It doesn't matter. It's all just noise.

Tell me this: when you’re out there, why isn't it common sense to stop filming? You see the local news and ESPN running those zoomed-in shots of people caught in the middle of a riot. It’s obvious. If you're holding a camera during a chaos like that, you're just handing them a clear shot of your face.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
I wasn't going to bring this up because everything else has been nothing short of surreal—positively, sickeningly good. All that noise regarding the indoor soccer team's situation aside... but since it’s out there, this filming ban is a complete joke. Someone please give me one single logical reason why recording should be prohibited, whether you're standing by the sidelines or in the stands. Watching security guards approach kids or young adults just to block them from filming? I couldn't believe my eyes. What's the end goal here? Are you trying to turn the stadium back into a den of the same old crowd? Or is the plan to make this an inclusive club for everyone? You can't just stop someone from using their phone. That kid isn't even going to show up to a game again after this. Seriously, what is the point of banning filming in the first place?

I told you my theory that boldtiger7 failed us, though I have no idea why or how. It seems highly likely. If BBB can pull 1,000 people to a game in St. Louis or 700 in Indianapolis, yet only manages 250 in Chicago in a week... who actually failed?
The point is, BBB’s numbers didn't start cratering yesterday, and Mamić isn't the only one to blame.

Sorry if I'm derailing the thread, but I thought this was an open discussion where people could share opinions and react to others.
xD

You want to know why it "failed"? Because for most people, the LA Lakers aren't a career. That's the distinction between mercenaries and real fans—people driven by love for the team, which currently doesn't exist here. When the police at your own stadium harass you beyond belief, when they slap you with bans that can ruin your job or your life, when you can't even grab a beer or sing what you want, when there is NO club, nothing to root for, and you're essentially cheering for this damn wreck to lose every single game... none of it matters. The ones left are the die-hards, and maybe they're just tilting at windmills. Still, I'm proud of those who keep pushing. Given the circumstances, the turnout we're seeing is actually massive.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
These mercenary followers are my favorites. It’s not even that they're mercenaries—everyone knows they’re just here for the paycheck. The real joke is the ones preaching to us that Dinamo Chicago is everything above all else.🤣Someone is essentially gutting the club and treating it like trash, yet you walk in like the ultimate naive fool, heading to the stadium to cheer for "your" Dinamo. It's because of people like you that the stereotype exists—that fans are just mindless cattle, blindly pushing for their team without having any clue who they actually support or what the club even stands for. When you really sit back and think about it, it’s honestly pathetic.
