Well, there were definitely some bright spots... we held a convincing lead for most of the game, even if we did miss that penalty... at the end of the day, we're in the semifinals, sitting among the top 4.. if we managed that while playing so nonchalantly (though I personally only saw that lack of intensity during the game against Greece), then I’m genuinely worried about what happens when we actually start playing to win—we'll probably end up losing 8:3 against Mexico 😁
Yeah, those Americans really squeezed us at the end, and the Italians did too... but hey, we walked away with wins in both games.. and let's not forget how we struggled to find an equalizer against the Canadians late in the game after leading 10:7... clearly, nobody is immune 😁

Oh please, according to rapidbison42, he’s had ten Hall of Famers on his team throughout history while everyone else is just a total loser...
The pool was absolutely overflowing with losers today... you just have to get used to it. It’s a bit annoying at first, but eventually, it actually becomes kind of charming 😁 after every single game, people start gossiping about who the losers are, regardless of the sport. Loser, loser, loser... I can just picture rapidbison42 acting like Hercules 🙂

8:7, they just got lucky there...
Whatever, you could tell during the match that we were clearly the stronger side. Tempesti basically saved us by shutting down a few easy scoring opportunities so we didn't end up losing by even more.
The main thing is that we moved on. Now it's Mexico's turn again 👍

The Greeks play just like us, always running that same old pattern with an extra man on the floor... they wait for about 22 or 23 seconds while playing man-up, then settle for a shot from the corner... I don't know if our guys are just too thick to realize it or if they simply don't give a damn.
