I just picked up a new AMD Radeon HD 6750 and a new Samsung S24A350H monitor. Everything was installed perfectly today, but now my sound is gone! To be clear, I made sure to wipe all my old ATI drivers before starting (I swapped out my old AMD Radeon HD 3870 because it was overheating like crazy). After the install, I registered the gear with XFX/AMD and grabbed the latest drivers, but still—zero sound. My audio was working perfectly fine right before I did this. Any ideas?
If you're running everything through an HDMI cable and aren't using a dedicated sound card, you might have just missed the HDMI audio drivers during the setup.

Don't sweat it. That CPU can definitely handle a CF paired with dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580s. And hey, if you need more juice, you’ve got a solid motherboard and that i5 is a beast when it comes to overclocking. Toss on a decent cooler and you'll squeeze out plenty more power.😉
The price of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 7950 is definitely going to top $2,000, but it'll be a massive jump over what you're running now (honestly, even compared to the HD 6950).😉

About ten days ago at a local soccer tournament, I took a nasty hit right behind my left ear. Since then, my hearing in that ear has dropped by about 50%, and there’s this constant ringing. It happened once before, but back then there wasn't any ringing, and things started getting better after two weeks until my hearing finally snapped back to normal. This time, though, it's been over ten days and nothing has changed—no improvement, just the ringing.
