How did you guys find this movie? in Movies ·
I didn't even go to preschool, but I grew up glued to the TV watching old racing shows—my parents always joked I spent more time staring at those screens than watching Branko Kockica.
So, listening to Ante Peterlić ramble on about "the art of cinema" is basically one of my earliest memories.
And it wasn't like we had much choice! My old man had a subscription to those classic film services, and once I was old enough to tag along, they’d be running these Western marathons starring Duke. Seriously, if you watched Rio Bravo as a kid, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Then it just kept going with those massive historical epics on TV; El Cid, Quo Vadis, Ben-Hur, Ivanhoe...
and honestly, it feels like it's been going on forever.

casualraven said:That last line basically screams that there's some hidden homoerotic subtext in the movie too. 😁

It’s easy to just see whatever you want to see.
I mean, let's be real—projection is one of the most common defense mechanisms out there...😁

Look, 2001: A Space Odyssey is a straight-up masterpiece. Honestly, Spock is one of the most fascinating characters ever written. I wouldn't call this movie "sci-fi" in the same way you’d describe those massive spectacles by Ridley Scott or James Cameron—those are basically just high-budget action flicks if you ask me. This? This is different.

Spock: 'We don't want to conquer space at all. We want to expand Earth endlessly. We don't want other worlds; we want a mirror. We seek contact and will never achieve it. We are in the foolish position of a man striving for a goal he fears and doesn't want. Man needs man!'

Look, if you actually care about results after a workout, you gotta mix your whey with water. I mean, sure, you can mix it with whatever you want, but at that point, you might as well just grab a Gatorade. It’s cheaper than buying expensive supplements, right?
You need to get that whey into your system with water within 30 to 45 minutes of finishing up. If you go mixing it with milk, absorption slows down big time, and then what? You're basically wasting your time because it won't have the same effect.
Everyone’s got their own little theories, I guess, but for me, it's simple: you gotta make sure you're getting the absolute most out of every cent you spent.

Male, 29 years old.

I grew up playing basketball, then moved on to some casual soccer, but once I hit college, I became absolutely obsessed with tennis.
After spending maybe three or four years just running myself ragged—only to realize my lower back was a total mess—my doctor basically told me to get into the weight room about three and a half years ago. So, I started lifting.
Fast forward to six months ago: I picked up running again (though right now I’m stuck dealing with a nasty hamstring strain), and now I’m looking for someone decent to hit the court with for some tennis matches.
