Like I said, everything stays exactly as it was before.

Look, I don't claim to know much about anything. I just know that if a regime starts taking over this place similar to how things went down back at the university, I'm definitely not going to be happy about it.

But why? I mean, I asked her if the new rules were actually coming into effect, and she just said no.
I guess that means the new rules are happening after all... may God help us all.

Brenda Green62 said:Well, it’s the usual setup...
- $10k a month
- A $50k signing bonus
- An extra grand for every single contract signed
- A company car and a corporate credit card

...not exactly breaking the bank, I suppose 😳

You asked for this kind of life, so I guess you finally got it. 🥳

🤣

Is it just me, or does the combination of those two acting as our local law enforcement feel a bit... intense? 🙂

What's there to celebrate? What, are they going to start running a police academy on the off boards too? 🤦

So, what’s the deal? Are there some new rules being dropped in the off-topic section or 🤔
just keeping me in the dark...☕
I guess I should probably figure out how to behave before I get myself in trouble.
Here’s my collection of balls

It’s basically the same concept, really, just on a much smaller scale. Think of them more like bite-sized meatballs rather than full-on dumplings. They're essentially little spheres instead.
And they have a much thicker consistency, too. I guess that makes sense, though.
In the States, if you're looking at something like a dumpling, it usually ends up looking like a massive hunk of white bread—either boiled straight in water or maybe given a quick steam. I guess that’s just how they roll. 😍
Hey Drew Ross2, here’s the recipe along with some photos
And if I actually manage to pull this off without making a mess, I’ll be sure to post my own pictures too.

The recipe itself is pretty straightforward, I suppose. The real headache is nailing the exact consistency of the dough.
It’s probably just a matter of getting a bit of practice in.

And honestly, I probably need to head back to the coast—multiple times, if possible.

So, what's on the menu for today? 😁

Even here in the States, we aren't exactly dealing with typical summer heatwaves right now.
The AC is working overtime just to keep things bearable.

Where exactly are your thoughts heading with all this?

Today, I've decided to tackle a recipe I've never actually attempted before, so wish me luck. It’s some sort of cottage cheese goulash—basically little cheese-filled meatballs.
I'm sitting here trying to figure out what I should actually cook today.
The weather is acting like it’s mid-April or something; it just refuses to actually warm up properly.
The Czechs in Cleveland live in such a cool city. Everything is just right there when you need it, and honestly, the surrounding area is pretty much perfect.
I spent about two months over there, and I have to say, it was a blast.

If I could just get laid and finally get some decent sleep, I’d basically be winning at life, wouldn't I?😁

Honestly, though, sometimes those dreams are way better than reality—at least if you ask me.😍
My old man used to have these phases where he’d just vanish from the house for a month or two at a time. Then, out of nowhere, he’d show up again, only for my mom to start spinning these wild tales about me—just blaming me for everything under the sun. And then, of course, he’d turn around and give me this whole lecture, acting like he had it all figured out, before disappearing again for another couple of months.
And honestly, what is she even playing at? She got her hands on the money, so what? I mean, damn, you can't exactly hug a stack of cash. Money isn't going to teach you how to actually live your life. But hey, maybe if you listen to an MP3

Honestly, I don't even know what a mother's hug feels like. I mean, my late grandmother hugged me once, ages ago, and that’s pretty much the extent of my memory on the subject.☕

My late mother was... well, she was never really the affectionate type when I was growing up. No cuddling, no playing—nothing. She had this bizarre theory that as long as you fed a kid and dressed them, your job was done. To her, showing affection or actually engaging with a child was just a massive waste of time. Since she was a schoolteacher, I suppose that rigid mindset made sense to her. It wasn't until she got much older that she finally realized how big of a mistake she'd made, and suddenly she started trying to hug me and be present. I was just standing there thinking, "WTF?" It felt so foreign. I still remember whenever my grandmother would try to hug or kiss me, my mom would snap at her, acting like it was somehow unhygienic or improper.😵.
I tried to be the complete opposite with my own son. Everything my mother failed to do, I made sure to provide. And of course, my mother would jump in to criticize me, telling me to stop being "idiotic" by wasting time playing with him.

ironcobra13, just wanted to give you a heads-up, I had a dream about sex last night😁

You're making real progress here. If we're looking at this mathematically, it's a one-zero for you.😍
I still remember when Taylor Swift first started out. Good grief, what absolute trash. It was just... honestly, so bad.
Budweiser isn't bad, per se, but I'd say their Pilsner is actually much better.
Good grief, where did everyone go wrong? I was honestly just responding to the fact that you guys were all complaining about insomnia and nightmares.
Actually, never mind. I'll stop. It’s pretty clear that being helpful isn't really working here.
Anthony Nguyen81, I guess you don't even need to complain about sleep issues. Was that comment actually meant for the others, or what?
My late mother used to have this little ritual when she couldn't sleep; she’d wander into the kitchen, whip up a quick salad with two eggs, eat it, and then she'd be out like a light.🤣
Drew Ross2 said:ironcobra13, what on earth kind of analogy is 😁 😁that?

Purely mathematical.
If A equals B, and B equals C, then obviously A equals C.🤣

So, look: if you're tired, you can't sleep; if you can't sleep, you should be doing something; if you aren't doing anything, then you won't be able to sleep. Therefore, being tired is functionally identical to being unable to sleep. I guess that's just how the logic shakes out.😍
Look, I was really just making a little observation about this collective insomnia you all seem to be dealing with.
I mean, if everyone is complaining this much, there’s clearly an underlying issue somewhere, right? It's hard to ignore.
Anthony Nguyen81, of course it isn't being talked about openly. If it isn't, then what else could possibly be the culprit behind all these sleepless nights and nightmares?
