Haha, it was pretty obvious for me, honestly. I had been binge-watching some Turkish drama—it was basically their version of Pride and Prejudice, I guess.
So, I’m just browsing around on Google, totally aimless, when I stumble upon this forum. It’s my first time ever seeing a message board like this. This was, what, eleven years ago? I remember looking at it and thinking, "Whoa, what is this place?" People are actually sitting here having full-on conversations. Then, lo and behold, I find a thread specifically about that show. Naturally, I felt the urge to weigh in, right? But then the site asks me to register and demands a username. A username? I don't know, back in the day, I used stuff like "hybrid" or "raza" and things like that.
But I found myself stuck on what to pick. My mind kept wandering toward that old TV station in Chicago, ironcobra13. I thought, "Actually, that would be pretty cool." So, that's exactly what I went with. Just like that.🕺

In this coming year, I’m really hoping things feel just a little bit less exhausting 🥳
I wish for Duci to finally find a boyfriend so we can actually get him married once and for all 🙂
For Wiki to somehow grind his way to that ridiculous goal of one hundred thousand posts on the forum
That our forum stays up and running smoothly without any of those annoying technical glitches
And that Josh moves somewhere much warmer so he stops complaining about how freezing it gets in Chicago. 🍿
As for myself, I’d love to finally shed those extra pounds and feel like myself again 🙂

Look, I mean, obviously I’d love to see America come out on top too. Really, I would. But let's be honest—we aren't anywhere near that level yet.
I’ve been sitting here lately, just ruminating on the sheer amount of stress that comes with watching a game. It’s actually quite something when you think about it—the way a single match can just completely wreck your composure. I guess I was just lost in thought regarding all that pre-game anxiety.
I swear, every single time I find myself going up against one of those powerhouse nations with all that stacked depth, I end up on the verge of a total nervous breakdown. It’s honestly exhausting.
With Morocco, there’s just this certain feeling... it's hard to put into words, really. It’s that sense that they’re basically brothers in struggle, if you catch my drift.

I’ve been looking at these teams lately, just sitting here thinking about what an absolute classic a matchup between them would be if they ever met in the finals
The US versus Morocco... honestly, I don't think I'd even care who walked away with the trophy

Well, I suppose that's that, then. A 1-0 loss for America against Japan. It was one of those matches where you just feel like you're watching paint dry, only the paint is occasionally moving in ways that make absolutely no sense tactically. I guess we expected more, but maybe my expectations were just set too high to begin with? Hard to say. It was a tight, frustrating affair, and honestly, a bit of a slog to sit through.
So, I saw that Brazil vs. South Korea match ended 2-1. I guess that’s one way for things to shake out, though I can't say I'm entirely surprised by the result. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, wasn't it? Maybe if they had played a little more defensively in those closing minutes, we would have seen a completely different scoreline, but that's football for you. Just one of those games where everything feels slightly up in the air until the final whistle blows.

I mean, can you actually believe that I’ve never even touched a bottle of Jagermeister?
