Sure, people count it, but you notice that everyone on this board just wants to whine about being tired. Nobody is actually bringing up anything concrete 🍿
Everyone seems to be coupled up these days, yet I don't see a single soul practicing any kind of sun worship... honestly, kissing the sun? What kind of era have we actually drifted into? 😍
Kimberly Rodriguez51 said:Are you absolutely certain that's what you'd call weeds? I mean, I guess it depends on your definition, but calling them that seems a bit harsh, doesn't it? Maybe. 🤔 All that's left is the local homegrown stuff. 🙂
That’s actually how we say it back home in Canada—well, at least within my own family. It was always our little tradition to head down to the local farmer's market like that to pick up everything we needed.🤷 Now, I honestly have no idea what the term for that is here in the States. I’ve heard that some people—specifically those folks over on the West Coast—actually refer to it as pastrami. I guess that's just how they see it, though.
Have you guys ever actually tried some high-quality jerky made from young beef? Man, it is incredible. Whether it’s some premium dried pork loin or a spicy salami, it hits different when it's made authentically by locals who aren't cutting corners with cheap fillers.
I mean, honestly, insomnia isn't always just about being wired or having too much caffeine. It could be anything. If someone is dealing with underlying health issues—you know, things like liver problems, kidney issues, or even just stomach and intestinal trouble... or if there's fluid retention causing them to have to get up in the middle of the night... all of that plays a role. And then, of course, there's stress. God knows how much that affects everything.
I honestly got absolutely eaten alive by mosquitoes last night. It was brutal. I ended up having to resort to using that tea tree oil just to get some peace... and yeah, I know, it smells pretty intense, but let me tell you, those bugs will run for the hills the second they catch a whiff of it.
Anthony Nguyen81, I just finally wrapped my head around what you wrote earlier. I was completely out of the loop... honestly, I think I might be getting old.
So, I’ve got about twenty-five percent of my heritage tracing back to a small town in the Midwest.... does that actually count as being part of the heartland, or am I just some rural outlier? 🤔 I guess you could say being a true Midwesterner is just running through my veins...
Good grief, this heat... I’ve been scrubbing and cleaning for two hours straight, and meanwhile, you all have already sprinted off into total separation. Instead of just starting one single thread for everyone, you’re all splitting off into different groups—what kind of chaotic mess is that? Honestly... For the record, I am busy, I am definitely not idle, and I have an adult son. As for which group I actually belong to? I haven't the slightest clue, but frankly, I couldn't care less....
If I recall correctly, there was that scene in the movie *Good Will Hunting* where the cleaning lady used to put lavender on the windows. The idea was that the scent acts as a natural deterrent against pests. Does anyone actually know if there's any truth to that, or am I just misremembering the plot?
Well, I suppose it all boils down to your surroundings and who you're dealing with. With some folks, it’s just a polite handshake. With others, maybe there's a quick hug or a warm greeting, depending on how close we are. With some people, a simple wave from across the street does the trick, and that’s plenty. It really just depends on the setting and the person involved... My son actually knows me well enough that sometimes, when we run into each other in a parking lot, he’ll try to dodge me just to avoid the fuss, even though I tend to be a bit much to handle—kind of a larger-than-life presence, if you know what I mean. People tend to give us a bit of a strange look when they see us together... But hey, that’s just my son and me. That’s just how we roll...
Well, I suppose it all really comes down to where you happen to be and who you’re dealing with. With some folks, it’s just a polite handshake. With others, maybe there's a quick hug or a little more warmth if the moment calls for it. With some people, a simple wave from across the street is plenty... it just depends on the person and the setting, I guess. My son actually knows to look out for me when we run into each other at the local Target parking lot. He'll sometimes try to dodge me, only to end up pulling me into a hug anyway—even though I'm built a bit like a heavy-duty Ford F-150. People tend to give us those slightly awkward looks, I suppose... But hey, that’s just how it is between my son and me. That’s our thing.
Good grief, you people are absolutely out of your minds... I am sitting here laughing like a maniac at this flour situation... honestly, what kind of topic is this even 😂 🤣
Sin Taliti, my little donkey, maybe you should try finding some peace within yourself first; once you've managed that, then you can worry about making peace with Bogo or the rest of us.
I always find myself drifting back to this whenever I'm pondering life's little wisdoms. It’s one of those things that just seems to have stuck with me since I was a kid .
duxi, I’m not trying to bug you or anything, it’s just that I haven’t been out in the vineyard lately. We’re all just sitting around waiting for the grapes to hit that perfect level of ripeness, so once things pick up in a few days—hopefully—I’ll be back in action and waving at you again. Anyway, greetings to everyone in the group... if you don't mind me asking, what's everyone's go-to beer these days? Just curious what the crowd is sipping on...
