Noah Garcia4 said:And now you're probably going to claim that your illness hasn't had any impact on your intellect. 😂

Don't be so naive about being "the craziest in the world." While we're all sitting here messing around on an internet forum, there are people all over the globe actually suffering in psychiatric wards, struggling just to tolerate their medication.
My meds didn't work for me back in the day, so they put me on shock therapy about 16 years ago. I went through six rounds of ECT. Since then, my history on this forum shows that my medications were hit-or-miss, 🙄. Nowadays, they finally seem to be working. In secret, I dabble in holistic healing—I eat clean, I exercise, I use Bach flower remedies, and I'm pretty obsessive about Vitamin C. But I still take my prescriptions every single day. Honestly, I need to head over to braco near the Silverado. I haven't made it out that way yet.🤔

Give me a break; they're tapping my phone, they implanted a chip in my neck while I was in the hospital, and they're monitoring my every move via satellite.😂

So many people are suffering, and it's always going to be this way. It doesn't actually have anything to do with me, really—though I was taught from the time I was a child that my own skin is more important than a hundred other people's lives... or maybe that's just human nature.

Go to braco, maca, or faca if you want—it won't do you any good unless you trick yourself into thinking it's working, and even then, it'll be short-lived.

Of course the satellite picked you up—it's hard to miss someone walking through the streets with 200,000,000 volts coursing through their skull. 😂

Noah Garcia4 said:It’s always easy for you to just shrug and claim you're crazy. You lean on that tired old trope—the idea that once a madman admits he’s lost his grip, it’s somehow a sign of recovery or some kind of spiritual breakthrough. If you actually believe you aren't unhinged, then you’re definitely off the mark; you’re clearly out of your mind. 😵

I only started posting here with the best of intentions, truly. But then again, I did tell you exactly that. 😛 It’s pretty clear you didn't quite catch my drift. I suppose when you're lacking the mental bandwidth to process something, it's hard to wrap your head around it. 🤣

I honestly didn't realize just how treacherous this forum could be. And if you really want to know, I’ve started feeling like I'm being watched; I've definitely noticed them tracking my every move. 😍🤣😂☕

How did I not catch it? It wasn't me who failed to realize that *I* had realized 😂
.
Fine, I am crazy—admittedly so. Though, granted, I'm not exactly the most deranged person on the planet, but there are days when it certainly feels that way.🙂

Who's watching you? The guys over at Exelon?🤣

Noah Garcia4 said:Since when did you start hallucinating about a cure? ☕

Sometimes I have these little delusions that I’m actually healthy—it’s quite a strange sensation, really—and honestly, I feel like I ought to go find a doctor just to prescribe me some pills to keep the illusion going. Because, let’s be real here—if I’m eventually going to lose my mind, I might as well go out in a blaze of glory and do it properly, right? Either full-blown madness or nothing at all. There is no middle ground in this weary existence.😁

What exactly are you even saying? If you go and get yourself electrocuted—God forbid, though I suppose some people live for that kind of thrill—you’ll end up glowing like a damn Christmas tree. Honestly, the sheer absurdity of the imagery... it's enough to make one lose faith in the modern age.🙂
Look, you’re just trying to light the way for all of us—that's what you're doing—and I know it isn't some selfish grab for attention or anything of the sort. I see right through it. Trust me, I really do.😁

So, let’s get into it—suppose I actually have schizophrenia. What then? What’s the move? People just look at you and say, "Just take your meds, you're crazy, and you'll be stuck like this forever." It’s always the same tired script. They tell me I’m broken, that my brain is permanently off the rails, and they expect me to just accept this new, diminished version of myself as my permanent reality. But I have to ask—how am I supposed to ever be "normal" again if the only solution offered is to chemically lobotomize my very existence? How does one find balance when the cure feels just as hollow as the condition?

Noah Garcia4 said:You’ve completely blown it, man—was it a total meltdown or just a minor glitch? 🥳

I am absolutely wasted—completely and utterly spent—because I had the sheer, unadulterated audacity to mistake a glass of milk for a shot of bourbon. Honestly, what was I thinking? My brain feels like it’s been through a blender.

Don’t go around stealing electricity—it’s just plain wrong.☕

"Madman" is actually such a specific—and honestly, quite sophisticated—kind of label🙂

Noah Garcia4 said:I can't exactly talk her into something like that. That’s more of a conversation for her doctor. I can barely drag her out for a simple cup of coffee, so the idea of her traveling all the way to Martha's Vineyard is a bit of a stretch.
I was just feeling incredibly frustrated and helpless watching her struggle, which is why I vented like that. There isn't much I can do to fix it; I can only express how much it sucks to watch.

On a different note, regarding voices—so many people claim to hear messages or see things and attribute it all to supernatural powers. Some people even make a decent living off the whole phenomenon. I'm not judging anyone🙂. I honestly think there might be some substance to it. Who knows, maybe science will stumble upon a logical explanation one day. After all, gurus have existed since the dawn of humanity, right alongside witches and whatnot.
In this current era of New Age spirituality, it seems perfectly standard for any healer to claim they receive messages or visions. I've personally visited quite a few healers (and priests, for that matter). What are your thoughts on the matter? 🍿

Healers? Priests? Give me a break, folks—that stuff is nonsense.

Modern psychiatry, on the other hand, seems to revolve entirely around medication, but at least those drugs provide some level of relief.

If I ever actually "get better"—which, let's be honest, is unlikely—I'll be sure to post here and tell you whether I succeeded or failed. I haven't the slightest clue yet.🙂

Who on earth do you think you're talking to, Noah Garcia4?🙂

Robin Lopez2 said:The funny thing is, we aren't pretending to be anything other than what we actually are. It’s just simple reality. For instance, there's a woman who gets her prom dresses made by my sister because she’s convinced she’s some kind of high-society socialite from Manhattan.

I honestly can't tell if I'm losing my grip on reality or if you're just being intentionally cryptic, but I am completely lost as to what you're trying to say here.

Robin Lopez2 said:From my perspective, even your posts on this forum have become much more grounded lately. There is a massive difference compared to how you used to write a few years ago. You seem totally fine now!

Oh, so she wasn't "normal" before? Seriously? Please, do me a favor and explain exactly what you mean by that. She was suffering through an illness—she wasn't losing her mind—so maybe try to wrap your head around the fact that a sick person is actually going through something real.
It is a truly monumental feat of arrogance to look someone in the eye and say, "You were crazy before, but now you're fine."
I mean, who do you think you are? What gives you the right to play judge and jury over someone else's sanity? It's honestly unbelievable.
Do yourself a favor: go buy a mirror, take a long, hard look at yourself, and tell us what you see. She had the courage to face her reality, whereas you? You don't have a shred of it—you're nothing but a coward at heart, my friend.
Schizophrenia - General Discussion in Psychology & Therapy ·
Noah Garcia4, give me a break—are you actually serious right now? Honestly, being "normal" is a total myth when your nerves are constantly frayed and eating you alive from the inside out.

Noah Garcia4 said:Akineton is actually a pretty decent, perfectly legal drug if you know what you're doing...

God, they’re absolutely brutal—I’ve popped them a few times myself, and let me tell you, I couldn't even read my own watch to see what time it was.

I’m currently in one of those moods where I just want to down 25 Adderall pills or smoke five damn Marlboro Reds—actually, better yet, let’s just go for the grand slam and do both at once. I am feeling absolutely, profoundly terrible right now.

David Vaughn75 said:I was recently stuck in the hospital, so everything is still pretty raw and fresh in my mind.

But once I get back from my trip to the coast, I'll be hunting for work. 👍

Teddy, man, I really hope you make a full recovery—I honestly have a feeling you will.

Given that it’s been five years since the absolute worst of it, things really ought to be looking up by now. I was actually talking to a friend today—she was suggesting I switch up some of my medications—and honestly, I feel like I have nothing left to lose. I just want to live a normal life for once, if you catch my drift. It's exhausting.
These damn symptoms... they just won't quit. It's a mess.
I've been dealing with this illness for so long, yet I feel like I've barely even scratched the surface of what it can do... maybe 20%? It’s unbelievable.

Larry Lewis, where on earth have you been hiding!!!???

Noah Garcia4 said:Look, I’m well aware that isn't actually the case; I was simply echoing the prevailing consensus. 🙂😁😍☕

Listen, both you and I know exactly who we are—and frankly, it’s a shame people don't have any ear for us. I could probably go on for a minute and a half straight about which craft beer is the absolute best, but because of certain things I've been through—personal stuff, let's just say—I find it incredibly difficult to truly engage in those kinds of trivial conversations. It's this constant, nagging feeling where I know I have something profound or genuinely intelligent to contribute, yet I end up staying silent... instead, I just blurt out some mindless nonsense just to blend in and keep the peace.
Schizophrenia - General Discussion in Psychology & Therapy ·
Honestly, if I could just find a group of people like you all to hang out with—people who actually have something interesting to say instead of just complaining about life—I’d be set. At least then I wouldn't have to endure those endless Sunday afternoon lectures from my relatives about who's been hitting the bourbon too hard every single week. It's exhausting, really.

Does anyone know where I can pick up one of those t-shirts that says PSYCHO across the front?

Noah Garcia4 said:Honestly, did you just drop in from Mars? Claiming that schizophrenia is the absolute peak of insanity on this planet is a massive stretch—I mean, surely there are people out there far more unhinged than that, like a cold-blooded killer.
And let's be real, compared to them, drug addicts look like toddlers playing in a sandbox.
Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong.

You hit the nail right on the head, young lady... ALAS, THE HUMAN CONDITION!!!!!!
