I haven't seen anything posted here yet—looks like we're still waiting for the actual content to drop. Give me something to work with! kaže:
Starting New Year's Day, we’re looking at $10,000.
Back when we were still using dollars, New Year's Eve felt like hitting the jackpot—you could easily walk away with 200 bucks in your pocket. $0.00
Even if the bank technically has the right to ask you to prove where your money came from—even for a measly hundred bucks—it’s still pretty ridiculous.
I was just making deposits directly into my Wells Fargo checking account—and no, I don't have power of attorney or anything like that. $117 She was asking me for... $117 So, let me get this straight—they actually went through the trouble of tracking down the origin and then scanned a driver's license? Seriously? It’s like someone watched too many spy movies and decided to play detective in their own living room. Honestly, it feels a bit extra, doesn't it? Like, we’re all just out here trying to live our lives, and suddenly there's this whole deep dive into personal IDs. Just seems like a massive overkill to me.
Look, she’s a total rookie. There’s really no point in even asking—the NFL knows exactly what the numbers are for everything they're requesting.
Honestly, feels like nobody actually knows... though you can just grab the study guide right off their official website. It’s probably like 200 pages of pure legal jargon alone. Not exactly a walk in the park.
Hey there,
Does anyone have some practice questions or a study guide they could slide my way via DM? I’ll buy you a beer if you can help me out. 🙂
Also, how did the exams actually go now that everything is being done online?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been going back and forth on where to drop this thread, so I figured I'd just put it here—admin, feel free to nuked it if it doesn't belong.
Here’s the deal: I’ve always dreamed of living the big city life, and honestly, I made that happen. I’m 24, wrapping up one degree, and looking back, I crushed high school and really thought I’d be heading into some technical field. Instead, I’m finishing up a different major that I don’t just hate—I absolutely despise. I am working, too; it’s nothing special, but it pays enough to live decently.
But there’s this constant itch to go back and actually study something technical. The problem is, my heart wants one thing, but reality is throwing a massive wrench in the works. If I want to pursue the degree I actually care about, I’d have to move back home. My folks are struggling as it is—they’re barely scraping by, and even with the help I send them sometimes, things are tight. Staying in Washington, D.C. isn't an option because I’d need to work to survive while paying for a whole second degree. So, it's either stay in the city where I'm comfortable but miserable about my career, or head back to a place where I know I’ll be unhappy, just so I can study what I love. It wouldn't be forever, but it's still a long haul.
I’m stuck in this mental deadlock. On one hand, I stay where I am, life is "fine," but I feel like this missed opportunity is going to haunt me for the rest of my life. On the other, I pack up and head back to a rough situation just to chase a passion—maybe I could grind through the summer to make the finances work, but still.
The whole thing is mentally draining, and honestly, I think I'm screwed regardless of which way I lean. I genuinely don't see a way out of this bind. 😢
Looking for someone to chat with, maybe grab a drink... I'm 25, if that actually matters to anyone here.🙂
Just looking for someone with a decent enough worldview to chat with over coffee or a late-night burger 😁
I'm 24 and still in college. I know I’m not exactly a chatterbox when it comes to these types of posts—I don't ramble—but I say exactly what needs to be said. 😛
Man, our entry this year is a total train wreck, though I guess we can all agree we’ve been a disaster basically every single year for the last decade.
I mean, Din's track is definitely better than ours.
A degree, obviously—and yeah, more friends, too. But let’s not forget the real kicker here. I want to live by the coast. 🙂

Yeah, either a nanny or you—if you want to go with that "good samaritan" label people give you—can be pretty effective at handling a minor bug, provided it hasn't turned into some serious infection.
Now, this is a pretty interesting question. 🙏
Honestly, I’m a big believer in desire itself—you actually have to want something deep down for it to happen—but you can’t just sit on the couch wishing for it. Desire isn't just a feeling; it comes with the grind, the sacrifices, and sometimes even the struggle required to hit those goals you've set. Personally, I’ve got one major life goal I haven't knocked out yet, and while I won't get hung up on the "how" or the specific path, I'm going after it with everything I've got. Even if I don't have all the cards in my hand right now, desire usually brings a little hope along for the ride. 😁
That said, desire can move mountains, but you've gotta aim for things that actually exist within the realm of reality—or at least something slightly more grounded than pure fantasy. Don't go chasing ghosts. Be realistic and objective when you're setting your sights on what you want. 👍

I’ve always been a fan of African music. It’s got these specific vibes you don't really find in other World Music genres—think heavy rhythms and that call-and-response singing style where the soloist and the group trade lines back and forth.
As far as World Music goes, though, my heart belongs to the stuff from Mexico. 😉

La cumparsita, Tango 😁
I love tango. It’s basically just stories about heartbreak, betrayal, unrequited longing, and those "what if" dreams that never happened. ^^
