They actually had a shop out in a rural area until recently too 😉
It's Magnolia Bakery. Their stuff is just okay though. Totally mid.
I think those extra few pounds are more than enough. I definitely went overboard with it. Everyone ended up bringing stuff over, and it wasn't even part of the plan... but whatever. I’d still ☕
Then, when it was finally time for dessert, all the cakes hit the table. Personally, I’m a huge fan of cake, and I honestly think it's a crime if there isn't any at a wedding 😉.
Most people went straight for coffee right then, though they kept it available all night—which is also a total must in my book.
The fruit came out shortly after that.
The cakes just stayed out on the tables until everything wrapped up.

It's just like you said—they're fine. But honestly? Nothing special.
Seriously though, weddings are a total money pit, and those fancy cakes? Way too expensive. 🤷 It’s just how it goes.
The only way to play it safe is to order fewer slices than there are guests. But honestly, I’d probably be stressing out the whole night wondering if we actually ordered enough.
I’ve got a fridge packed with bananas, some pears, and honestly, a bunch of other stuff I can't even name... and I'd really love to share it all with someone.
We sorted out the cookies—honestly, I think I grabbed way too many, even though the lady at the bakery tried to talk me down 😂. But whatever, I can still fix that . I’m getting two cakes—one standard one and a small sugar-free option for the diabetics. We already picked the design (white with little lilac accents, square shape), and I’ll decide on the flavor later, but I'm leaning toward mousse. It's killer. I actually got some sample cakes to take home, so once I polish those off, I'll make a final call 🤣 . EDIT: The sugar-free one is vanilla, chocolate, and whipped cream
